Terrible
Keep trying to do a mobile deposit and it keeps saying I have to be logged in. I’m already logged in.
Balances
Would like to see actual balances on accounts on dashboard. Instead of having to open account to see.

This app compared to other banking apps I’ve used is difficult to navigate and use. Also the app makes it difficult to send money peer to peer. Overall very dissatisfied with the functionality and user friendliness of this Orrstown Bank app
Preferred old App
Like set up of old orrstown app better and have heard complaints from multiple people about issues getting new accounts set up for new app. On the phone an hour to get it fixed with customer service

Best banking app on the App Store
Disappointing
Since its merger with People’s Bank, the Orrstown Bank app is not as good it was. When I do get it to work, it’s “sluggish” to say the least. When it locks up, I’ve had to go to the branch for a teller to perform such functions as print statements and retrieve passwords. Trying to reach the Orrstown “Help Desk” is a joke. Their phone system can’t receive incoming calls. Which means another trip to the branch. Your phone system and IT Network both reek of “Low Bidder.” Update 8/6/2026: if I could give Orrstown a rating of less than zero., I would. Thanks to your closing two accounts, checking and Money Market, I’m forced to visit the Cockeysville branch daily for assistance in paying bills for a decedent whose estate I administer. The staff at your Cockeysville Branch - Duane, Brianna, Martha - are wonderfully helpful. Your mobile banking app only adds insult to the injury of losing my loved one. . - Jon Acton

This is worse than 1990s online banking. Do better!
Validation
In the past year or so. I have had more account validation and account locks than in all of the previous years combined. It becomes frustrating.

I only have one concern with online banking. Why does it take 2 days and longer over holidays to process payments. I have had a bank with similar program and all payments processed the next day. Even a Friday to Saturday. Also never had a payee that didn’t go electronically. Never waited 5 days for the bank to issue a check. I find myself having to direct to the payees website for pay. Just another step that takes time to do and added record keeping. Other than that I find your personnel always helpful, respectful and friendly. They always answer questions.

Ehh lagging behind every other bank app
The app itself is okay, but Orrstown itself is terrible. No security. Was able to change some pretty disturbing account details at the local branch without even presenting an id… they didn’t even ask. They’ve also mixed up family members (parent deposits a check, it winds up in my account??). There simply isn’t any account security and I am sure it extends to the app

Easy to Use
I use the app regularly and it is easy to use which makes it easy to keep track of my accounts.
Poor to bad
It is extremely difficult to select what to enter the data which one wants to select. Just paid a bill that was for $301.71 and item had to be enterered four times before correct amount was noted. No real feedback on comments.

I have 3 accounts with Orrstown and I just logged in and only two are showing! Where is the third?!?!??

Excellent App. Easy to use.
Meh
Not user friendly. I have one account with this bank and I can see….maybe a month’s worth of transactions. I can go to statements and documents but that is all the further it goes, the app does not display any statements or documents you can click on, or view.
