New version harder to use
Please bring back the previous version. This seems like a change for the sake of change. Why can’t I see all my accounts on one page? All the previous functions are still there but in different locations. It is much more cumbersome to use from a user perspective.
They destroyed the App
The app is useless to me. It tells me I have no transactions for my credit card. I was told to use the online banking to see my transactions. The only way I can see them online is to select to pay my credit card. When I asked when it would be upgraded or repaired, I was told there was no plan to make any changes.
Recent Update
While the recent update looks nice , it can be confusing. You ended up making me spend a few minutes figuring out how to make a payment to my WSFS credit card. It was definitely easier before. When selecting that option in the app, please add a “button “ to make a payment right there so I do t have to try to remember how to do it each month.
Silly update
So now, you must use the app in portrait mode. No more landscape mode on my iPad. Please get some professional programmers over there.
Removed account numbers
This app works for the needed functions but I’m so frustrated they used to show the last 4 digits of my accounts and now it just says checking—- well I have multiple checking accounts and now I can’t see which one is which. Very frustrating. It also requires password for any function which is annoying but I guess many needed.
FINALLY REDESIGNED!
This app was begging for an upgrade for many years, and it finally looks modern. Well done!! One minor improvement I am hoping for is dark mode. Otherwise I love the new design and my HELOC line finally shows up with a pay option making it actually look different from other accounts. Previously, I simply had to transfer $$ and hope for payment marked complete but now it makes WAY more sense.
Latest Update Sept 2026
New update is horrible. The user experience was much better in the previous version. Not even able to see total credit card charge or pay card without being taken to an external website. Much less user friendly then before.

Too Many Challenges
I’m sure it’s a good app when it works consistently. Unfortunately I had too many hiccups with mine. I have multiple bank apps that work well but WSFS is not one of them. I had gone so far as to close my account due to my dissatisfaction. I did tell bank personnel that I may try again next year.
App issue
My wife and I are both on the account but the app only recognizes her phone for verification and will not accept my Face ID. Problem!

Outdated & Not User Friendly
This app is terrible for mobile banking. It crashes out during simple operations frequently. I can never see the transaction history on my credit card. The card payment method just recently updated to the archaic format and method used on the desktop server. Plus when I want to redeem credit card rewards they put me through this whole process where I need to enter my account and routing numbers just to get my cash back. This apps awful, I have accounts with other banks and can say comparatively WSFS is way behind. Thinking of closing my account with them all together.
Sucks
I always have problems with my app I have to continuously reinstall it and then sometimes it still doesn’t work. It only works if I go to the website and put on my login information. I even called to see if I was locked out, but I wasn’t. It’s very inconvenient to have to go onto the website to check my balance.
Irritating
My app keeps kicking me out. It won’t take my Face ID. I can’t get in sometimes I gotta remember my password. I’ve changed my password 20 times because it’s locked me out. When it works, it’s great.
App keeps freezing
Always having to update my user ID information and password because the app keeps freezing and says information is no longer valid
Customer Service
I just recently switched to WSFS for my checking account and I have to say I am pleasantly surprised at the level of customer service they provide. I’ve had to call Lynn several times and every time I’ve called the representative has been friendly, helpful, and a pleasure to deal with!
Downgrade
You went from a beautiful native app to a clunky web app. Looks and feels like garbage.
Great app
Overall great app, easy to use and reliable. Two improvement opportunities would be 1) that you could access more history, and 2) that you could manage the WSFS credit card on the app (currently limited to just seeing some recent transactions).

Why change a good thing
Had this app for 10 years no issues ever. Point blank. Then they update it and I can hardly ever log in. Constant issues and bugs. Stop changing things thinking it’s better. It’s not it sucks.
Good App
It is a good app easy to use. The deposit amount is limited and should be higher, I would suggest $10,000, instead of $3,000. Also, I suggest you provide account and routing number for users while using the app.

If you don't like the Aug 2026 update…
This isn't the place to let them know! I doubt they even bother to read these reviews. I have found that if you use the WSFSBANK.COM website and look for "Secure Messaging" you can get a message to them which will get read and a reply sent back to you. This feature may be on the app, but I haven't found it (yet). If enough people complain about features lost (no longer able to use a PIN, works only in portrait mode on iPad, etc) MAYBE they will get these lost features, and other problems you may have, corrected. I'm tired of having things which previously worked just fine taken away or replaced by things they force on us.

Embarrassingly Bad
After teasing a major overhaul/update, this is what you put out? Looks like a middle-school coding project gone wrong. Freezes. Won’t re-size to landscape when using an iPad. Does not show real-time balances or changes when bills are paid. Just stunningly amateurish for a financial institution. Look at any other banking app and take some notes.

Just downloaded new app and you took a great app and totally ruined it. You removed the passcode feature and now I have to use my username and password every time. Then it sends a code as well. I know I know security. But your developers made a great app bad.
