Amazing app
Can’t get over how great Splashtop is. Never have issues with it, and use it all the time to access my rig while at school. Very fast and sturdy app. UI is great. Never had a single issue with it.
Long time user - just cancelled
Splashtop was my go to for YEARS. Suddenly junk. Bye
Scrolling on part of web page
Not able to click on column of page and scroll up or down as when using a mouse. Otherwise, as good as advertised
同じネットワーク上で接続出来ない
PCと同じネットワーク上にいるのに接続出来ない事がある。自宅外のWi-Fiに接続した履歴を拾っているみたいです。現在アクティブとなっている接続情報で判定してもらいたいです。
Doubled in price
It works and works well. Ignore those who think an app is able to remotely reach over and press the power button on your computer. Unfortunately, I’ve had to cancel my subscription, as the price has doubled this week. If I paid £1 every time I used it, it would cost me about £5 a year. £23 isn’t happening.
Holy Responsive
I never write reviews but the ease and responsiveness of this was just insanely good.
They’ve phoned it in
This can’t stay connected for more than 10 min. You could probably Claude code clone this and make something better. They’ve clearly phoned it in and hardly put in any effort now.
Easy to use
Easy to use and prompts you while using the app would recommend
The subscription
I have be looking for apps to play games from my laptop anywhere but I can’t find any, this one looked promising but the feature I was looking for was locked behind a pay wall, I get that it’s cheap, I still don’t really have the money. If you reply, please try to recommend apps with the anywhere feature that may be free. Please and thank you!
Works but...
It works but it keeps messing up my display settings to where my monitors aren't receiving any input, or it thinks my monitor is a secondary monitor and that Splashtop is the primary monitor. Also several issues with bugs or being unable to click on things. Won't be using anymore
The best
It’s a must have, so useful!
Lag
It lags too much easy to connect but needs an update to fix lag
Good stuff.
Been using this for years, great app and very handy to connect to all my computers. IOS 14 reports it reads from my clipboard when I open it. Not sure why it does that though, probably should be an option to turn it off.
Problem with app
I’m using this app for last 7 years or so never had any issues but recently I’ve had issues with it and it has been almost 3-4 days now since that we have not received any updates from tech support about it my request is can someone help us with app issues thx
Free app or at a cost?
I was able to install the IOS app for free. Will a fee be required to install the desktop application on a Windows desktop?
Continous Updates
For the past week or two I’m getting Splashtop updates on my iPhone 17 pro which appear to be the same one over and over. I deleted the Splashtop app but it just happened again. Can you check this out. Thanks
Works okay but less functionality than TeamViewer
I paid for a year subscription at discount to find out you need a BUSINESS subscription for ftp and not just a regular one. INSANE, TeamViewer offers it for FREE.
Amazing, just a few errors here and there
I was surprised with the low latency and how well it worked... when it was working. For the first few times I’ve had problems with the desktop streamer though, one time it didn’t come up with a log in option and others it just kept loading. But after a few uninstall and installing it was working and it has been amazing since then.
"unfortunately out of our realm of expertise" Tech Supp
Haha never had a Tech Support Department tell me, "the network configuration of a phone would unfortunately be out of our realm of expertise... this would have to be self-researched... our only suggestion would be doing some more self research as to why" before lol App is almost a 10/10 when works, its like a 9.9/10 or 9.8/10 app. My 2013 iphone had no problems, 2021 iphone gave me problems until app became impossible to use.
I bought this app years ago it was excellent
I used to be able to connect over phone network now I have to pay for that facility apart from that excellent
Handheld Throttle
I am a model Railroader and run my trains with a laptop. I am in 2 rooms with a wall knocked out. Switching between the 2 rooms has always been a pain until now. Splashtop has given me a “walk around” throttle and I am no longer tethered to the keyboard. Awesome product.
Arnaque ne marche pas sans payer
Des l’installation à refuser de connecter le PC au smartphone qui sont tous deux sur le même réseau wifi et à demander un payment. Devrait être poursuivi en justice pour arnaque avec collection de données.
Amazing Until...
I used this program a lot mainly for me to use my desktop in bed- not having to be in the cold. It was absolutely amazing until recently i have had a constant satellite dish symbol - “use anywhere” feature, which I have not paid for / bought. I have troubleshooted a lot but nothing to seem to help. I even changed devices. Please can I have some help - I use a iPhone 6s IOS 11 and Ipad Mini 2 IOS 11. Possible problem - new bluetooth keyboard connected to the IOS device and wireless mouse connected to the computer via usb. It would help out a lot if you could address this problem. Thank you.
TRASH VERY BAD
WHEN IM DOING MY PASSWORD ON THE LAST PART ITS KEEPS ON TELLING ME THAT ITS GOING TO SEND IT TO MY EMAIL SO THIS APP IS A WASTE
Great app but lacking in ipad usability
Used for years on my phone with great success but wont work full screen on an ipad in landscape mode which is disappointing Will also crash first load on ipad
Works Like A Champ
I was a big time software developer and tester in a former life. I experimented with a number of different Remote Desktop access software before selecting Splashtop. Splashtop was one of the easiest to setup and configure. It also just worked out of the box on all of the platforms specified, which I use extensively. Working with remote systems with multiple screens is also no biggy Switching screens is just a simple key click away. I use the personal edition to simplify my live at home (the wife complains if I spend too much time downstairs but not if I am upstairs still on a computer in the same room as her.) I also use Splashtop to mentor my grandkids halfway across the planet. I use Splashtop to trade off manipulating the screen (with the audio on mute) and a program like Zoom or Team to manage the audio and video on multiple screens. Under this setup and a good internet connection, it is almost like I am there. (Trying to use the remote screen request with Zoom just isn’t as smooth or as fast, and cuts down on the video screen size feed which I find important particularly when young children are working on some detail you need to see) Security under Splashtop is well worked out and not overly intrusive. I tend to be demanding product reviewer and hard nosed computer user. So if I am giving it five stars and a glowing review to boot, I’d say quit screwing around, and just get the product, it works better than advertised. The only hang up you might have between the personal and full up remote access version is file transfer. Get the full up remote access version if you need that. I use work arounds like synology drive, one drive or Dropbox but the setup is a bit involved initially. Away have at it with my full endorsement. Cheers. A senior fellow with quite a lot of development miles under his belt.
Garbage
THERES no audio
Question
Is it just me or the keyboard has disappeared??? Ok... It reappeared
Good but have to pay to use it
I saw this on YouTube and you have to subscribe and pay once a month.
Beautiful App / But It doesn’t work.
Splashtop is a beautiful app but I’m having quite a bit of trouble. When I try to connect to my PC, it never works it brings me to the anywhere pack or something. I’m connected to the same internet and I’m right there with it but doesn’t work. Cheers.
I dont write reviews but…
This is easily one of the best and most affordable ways to remotely control a Windows device. I had been struggling with TeamViewer and AnyDesk for a while, constantly looking for a reliable alternative, and when this popped up on my feed, I installed it immediately. It’s clearly optimized for phones, making remote access incredibly simple and intuitive. The built-in trackpad works flawlessly, mouse clicks are easy, and overall navigation feels natural—EASY. On top of that, the subscription is surprisingly cheap for what you can get compared to others. Nothing but appreciation for this company—you’ve genuinely made my life so much easier. I can handle daily chores and other tasks without stressing about constantly checking my computer.
iOS Version Doesn’t Work
Android works fine but this one keeps telling me that it cannot connect because the server is unavailable. Subscription cancelled unless they push an update that fixes it
Great
Great app, lots of fun! Would recommend!
Cant connect
It keeps on showing anywhere access pack and I am on wifi
Works well
App is very solid, easy to set up not much can go wrong. My only complaint is that when I’m watching Netflix from my computer to my iphone it’s laggy and freezes every few seconds. My home internet is 1gb/s download and 30mb/s upload and My phone is on a wifi of around 25mb/s. Other than that the app is fantastic can’t wait to play around and explore the possibilities
Cool at
I like it idk man
No love for old customers
I purchased the original, PERPETUAL version of this app and used it for the week I needed it. Guess what's been abandoned in favor of a monthly subscription? Unimpressed. You won't get another penny from me.
works great
love it nothing wrong with the program but i would like a few more features added
Please update for iPhone X full screen
Please update to be able to use the full screen on the iPhone X then it’s an automatic 5 star
Want password saved for every login
I don't want to fill in passwords every time I login different PCs.
Much Better Now
Update to my negative review of May 2025. I recently updated my iPad to iOS 26 public beta and since then Splashtop automatically reconnects when the connection drops from the iPad to my personal computer in my office. Now it is quite satisfactory and I will be renewing my subscription when it expires in February 2026.
Transparency matters
How are you going to make someone go through the whole process on the phone and machine, to then try and sneak in a monthly fee. How about charge for your app up front?
Very good app
It's much better than LogMeIn by far but please add a freaking keyboard or tell how to make it show up on screen because you said "play all the 3D games: World of Warcraft..." but I can't login to WoW since I don't have access to my keyboard. Anyways nice and useful app. A must have.
Crashes on ios11
Just crashes on ios11 I don't know for sure that this is ios11 related. I don't use it daily, but discovered it just after ios11 hit my phone (a 6s). The problem persisted after deleting and reinstalling. So far, it crashes after saying logging in, then refreshing 100% of the time that I try while I am on cellular data. I did note that while on wi-fi it did not crash, but I have not tested this extensively.
Pretty good
Pretty good when it works - often tells me my Mac is on a different network, when it isn’t. I can’t justify the price either so I have decided to remove it.
Reliable Remote Desktop
Been a yearly subscriber for years, and i love Splashtop. The price is reasonable for personal use. It's secure and it just works when i need it. The hassle of trying to use other free service just wasn't worth it for me.
Isn’t free
Tell me it’s paid in the top of the description
One problem
IT IS GREAT, one of the best streaming apps out there, but the PHONE VERSION doesn't have game compatibility as a subscription or otherwise, but the IPAD VERSION does!
DONT DOWNLOAD
It's good for office work but super bad for gaming because it just is. The controls aren't what you expect, don't scam yourself.
Please support iPhone X resolution
