Amazing game, 4.92 stars if I could
Please add rewards for a high rank, rebalance vandals, and fix login thing, it only tracks last visit not last login. Also, please increase max name length to 15 characters or so, so that more people can have unique names. Great game though!

listen, i looove this game, but can we add a new quest? Boss monkey family seems so outdated compared to the new zoo animals (prize wise) let’s add more to the lore, I’m still playing the game no matter what <3
Constant server issues
Every single update causes server connection errors making the game completely unplayable. I’m pretty sick of it I can’t even play new events or do anything at all. I’ve had this game over a decade and I think it’s time I gave up on it, at least grass never disappoints me.
it’s alright.
Zookeeper at it’s most basic is an enjoyable game. Match 3, score attack and defense points, fight your opponent. The regular mix of events and special limited time recurring game modes is nice as well and helps keep the game from getting stale for the most part. My biggest issue with this game is it’s monetization aspect and board algorithms. Sometimes you’ll get a board with millions of matches that let you chain and obliterate your opponent, whereas sometimes (often times) you’ll go on a streak of matches with boards with no matches, and get destroyed several times over. The monetization is annoying in the aspect that it’s always shoving in-app purchases in your face (none of which are mandatory). I don’t think cosmetics apply any sort of advantage, but with this game I never really know. If you plan on picking this up, take all this into consideration.

really slow user interface with annoying pop-up windows and app updates every time you open it. I don't play it anymore because its a lengthy chore every time you open it.

There are bugs when I don’t receive the rank prize and event points are reduced to 0. Now as of 10/01/2024 unable to connect to server.
Love the Game!
I've been playing this game since 2014 and I love it so much. No required purchases or ads in game. My only complaint was that the items in the gachas seemed to always be the same. After I left my review, I started seeing new items! I don't think I'll ever stop playing.

I have had zookeeper battle for eleven years (since it came out, although I had to delete and redownload at one point, so I lost my earliest event items) and it’s one of my favorite apps to date. I adore the main battle mechanics and most of the other mini games involved. However, there’s a few things that really bother me and hinder my enjoyment of the game as of late. The first is a number of mini games I used to like are seemingly no longer available? I remember years ago the “mecha bosses” that appear twice daily used to rotate between a bunch of fun challenges including things like getting 4-in-row or doing a specific chain capture within a time limit. As of September (when I picked up the game again for the anniversary celebration) I’ve noticed the mecha bosses have only been rotating through three games: the shining stars search, rabbit adventure quest, and the disturbing mecha boss quest. While these are fun, I miss a lot of the old challenges, as well as the variety; these three quests can get pretty stale after the first two rotations. Particularly when the mecha boss quest is already similar to the roulette wheel challenge that appears pretty regularly. The second issue is in regards to the zp event. There was a recent change to the way ultra rare bosses spawn, now appearing after defeating a vandal instead of when clicking on visitors (as with the common and rare bosses). I strongly dislike this change, as it has made them incredibly difficult to defeat. I have put a lot of time into the current Dragon Crocodile event and as a result my rare bosses are already quite difficult to defeat on my own without using special items (like power bottles or support smashes). This also means that ultra rares won’t appear until AFTER I’ve drained my entire cp bar on a rare, making them even harder to hit and ask for help. In the past, I was able to wait until my cp refilled before clicking on visitors and triggering a boss; now that is no longer an option, which makes the zp event way harder (and less enjoyable, as after a while it feels impossible). My final problem—and the reason I’m writing this review and lowering my rating from five stars—is that I accidentally clicked “no way” on an ultra rare boss that spawned. After defeating a vandal, I backed out of the zp event screen, intending to also back out of my zoo to the main screen, when an ultra rare boss appeared at a delay. The back button in the “my zoo” screen is exactly where the “no way” option is on the “ultra rare vandal appeared” pop up. Needless to say I was devastated, as ultra rares are worth a ton of points and there was no way to undo my misclick. Please please please add some sort of confirmation for dismissing an ultra rare (or the ability to click back into it, like the way choosing “battle later” works for the vp events). I hate that I can lose up to 160 zoo points just from trying to back out of my zoo and not expecting the pop up (normally it appears in the zp event screen after defeating a boss. It did not appear directly after I defeated the previous boss, instead appearing at a delay). I have full confidence in the zookeeper team to make adjustments that will improve the user experience and keep it just as fun as it’s been for the last decade. I love the design, the lack of ads is amazing, all of the events are clearly made by people passionate about their game—it only hurts that my enjoyment has been soured by these latest frustrations.
Fun game, annoying micro transactions
I’ve played this game for years, it’s super addicting and I love the battle mechanics and ranking system. Also the fact that there’s so many different events. I hate the way they handle micro transactions though. The price of gatcha medals is absolutely insane (3$ per medal), and they only give you a teeny tiny chance of getting whatever rare item you want. That’s 3$ for around 1% chance of getting a rare item. Of course you can always buy in bulk and save a few bucks (10 medals for 25$) but that’s still kinda…. Stupid.

my fav mobile game
ive been playing zookeeper since the game came out 12 years ago and its been a great game since. sure they have gacha that gets kind of annoying from pop-ups but you never see ads for anything else unless youre going out of you way to click them (i.e. visitor rewards). the gacha is completely optional since youll get plenty of opportunities to win great prizes without spending money. i have like over 1k gacha medals and i dont even want to use them because my inv will start getting cluttered lol, platinum medals im pretty sure are best when you save 25 for a stamp event that has a reward you really like

I’ve been playing this game since middle school. Sometimes I stop playing it, but when I do pick it back up and play it, it’s lots of fun. Graphics are a cool-kind of retro and the puzzles and bosses are interesting
Love this game, but
New iphone 11 and now get Cannot connect to server message 4 times before getting to my zoo then works fine. When I need to back out of my zoo it starts all over again...4 times of trying to connect to server. This is a HUGE waste of my time and makes me not want to play. :(

Peak cinema
Ever since I was a wee lad I played this game, until one day, I deleted it. But, a few days ago I saw something that reminded me of it and I needed to come back. And all I have to say, is that you’re just as beautiful as the day I lost you.
Pay to win…
Downloaded it, had some pretty evenly ranked and close matches… then all of a sudden, I was pitted against people who been paying and playing tens of thousands of games. You can boost your power?!? I kept getting absolutely obliterated in one match, instead of multiple close matches. Didn’t even stand a chance. Even though they appeared to be similarly ranked it wasn’t even a contest. Trash!
fun but weird new update
I love this game! I’ve been playing for years! My only complain is that they recently changed the design of the animals and they have a weird bold outline. It makes my eyes hurt and the movement feels slower for some reason. Other than that it’s such a fun and addicting game!
Bug with current VP Event
Spent two power bottles and 3 CP beating the 100 VP monkey 3 times, all 3 times it did not register the VP, and popcorn. (Visitors are still in my zoo.) Disappointed and hoping for a fix. Otherwise fun game

The app won’t open on my phone after the most recent update :( ive reset my phone and redownloaded the app. Still won’t work.

Greetings keep resetting
After the recent app update I seem to be having a problem where my beginning and ending greetings keep resetting back to the default ones. I would keep setting the ones I want and then after a while they would reset back to the default greetings. Please fix this!

Ruined with ads you can’t really skip
Zookeeper has been ruined with ads you can’t really skip for “township”. It’s prominent and you can accidentally hit it and be extracted from your zookeeper game. Otherwise zookeeper is a lot of fun. Fix this please

What happened?
Was 5 stars for the longest time, now I'm constantly getting network errors. I have lost power bottles due to this. Otherwise it's a really fun game. Get this fixed and my rating will increase to 5 star.

Quality of life suggestion
I’ve been playing since day one and I would like it if we got all 6 CP (or the Energy for battles. I’m sure it’s called CP) but also change the cooldown time from 15 minutes to like 10 minutes
Great game , just needs minor improvements.
I honestly love this game, it is competitive which serves my desire to be better than others lol. However the only thing I'm having difficulties accepting is, the loss of connection which tends to happen if you accidentally back out of the game for a second or close your phone. The battle I'd be participating in automatically ends, which really frustrates me considering I wait 15 minutes just to play one battle! I'm sure there must be a way to fix this , as well as, I have had extreme difficulty playing locally with my friends. Please fix these minor issues and I will be a life time participant!
Fun
The game is fun but waiting for CP is ridiculous. You should just pay once and then have unlimited plays. Not to mention the boss battles are rigged so you lose and waste what little CP you have. Probably gonna delete the game because I'm too tired of waiting to play.

Useless customer support
I have played this game for years but all the sudden they just suspended my account. I submitted a request to investigate why my account is suspended but they just kept replying canned messages. Maybe that is because I don’t purchase anything from them but still be able to win their challenges..
Tons of fun!
The app is great, but can someone please do something about the fact that the description in the "app store" is not in English? Even though I use the Canadian App Store. I don't notice until I went to read the update details. NOTE: there was another update shortly after posting this but it had something to do with the in app language settings. My qualm is with the IN APP STORE description. Please send out update notes IN ENGLISH. I like to know why I'm updating my apps.
New login item list.
I don't know if the events are coming back, where you can earn platinum medals and power bottles but I'm really not impressed with this login schedule, we get enough decorations through zoo gach and other random stuff so to remove our 3x power bottle does not make me happy. Especially since after the event you'll only get two plays versus the 5 we get now and the boss animals on quest take both of them for one fight. The platinum medal pricing is also kind of dumb now because they're saying that one platinum medal = $2.99 which would be the equivalent to 3 power bottles where previously in the old system it was FIVE power bottles per one platinum medal, so what about all those people who wasted their power bottles when the value has drastically changed now? Your item costs are too expensive, .99c per power bottle is too much, and you should at least be giving is four plays that continually recharge instead of just two. I still play the game but I'm not as happy with it as I could be, I think it's scaled in a sense that those who pay tend to win more, not talking games, avatars and other special things that pop up. Eg; boss avatars, special characters, etc. So that's my story with zookeeper and I'm sticking to it.
