Seamless
A very smooth rental experience. Traded up with no hassle, got in, got out, got back (2 weeks later), stepped out, stepped on, and flew home. The whole thing was a breeze.
Useless
Doesn’t list Guam as a location for fast break or location even though we have a budget office here. Can’t enter flight info. App was useless.

C-card problem
Won’t take my saved credit card with Budget which is valid and works for me all the time when charging with other companies, so I have to manually enter another credit card.

It gets the job done. Always works well, no issues.
WORST COMPANY STAY AWAY
I returned the car with full tank. Still they charged me $68. Stay away from these frauds. If no other option, please take all the receipts and photos of the car before you return. They try to scam you in every possible way they can.
Crashes constantly
Ever since the most recent update, the app crashes before it even opens. Sometimes it takes 3-4 tries before it will open and let me sign in. After that it seems to work fine.

Please make your reservation site logical and easy to figure out!

Upon arrival, there was a mixup on the rental pick up date The customer Rep was good and understanding about the date mix up that was done on line and she gave me the customer service 800 number while at the airport and they corrected it and I went back to the line , I was called back up and after a brief moment I on my way to pick up The car. Both the agents there were very efficient , understanding and worked well to get me the rental .
Clowns managed by monkeys
The worst company. Tried to login. They said they’ll send me email and didn’t. Called and system recognized me. A clown in the other line couldn’t find reservation or my name. Or phone number the system recognized by NAME. CEO. FIRE your clowns.
Dirty Cars make me cranky
I am really tired of getting dirty cars. The insides have been disgusting many times. I have to clean them myself and that is frequently unexpected use of my time. The vehicles could not be sanitized with gooey liquids everywhere.

Excellent from start to finish Everything was set up to the customer . No waiting time to pick up the rental and return
$50 cancel fee
I canceled a reservation more than 2 months in advance and still a $50 cancel fee.
What is happening?
The only thing worse than this app is trying to use the website in my laptop browser. Even logged into my account with my Fastbreak info populated, I can’t complete a reservation because the app refuses to accept multiple attempts to pay with valid credit cards. You guys want my money, yes? I mean… I’m trying SO hard to give it to you.

I chose to use Budget because they had availability in good pricing. When I tried to set up my app on my phone, I had to redo the login repeatedly. Once I input my credit card information, it told me that I could not move forward and I had to call Budget. It gave me a phone number which sent me to an incredibly rude person that told me that I was calling Avis. When I called the new number, the same exact person answered the phone and was again rude. Very frustrating.
Richmond Airport Rental
Would be a 5 star but the Richmond Airport in Virginia especially for those late flights coming in I experienced that only 1 person running the counter to include regardless of having a valid reservation you wouldn’t be guaranteed a car as you arrive. I got to the airport at 11pm and did not leave with a vehicle until 3am due to no vehicles and only one person working the counter.

Terrible policies
I have rented a car in Daytona for a week I came here to be with my dad who’s dying. I called to extend my rental because. Family and I was told that I had to pay a rate $150 higher than a normal weekly rate because it was an extension they’re going to make me drive to the airport while my dad is actively dying to change the car and not pay the extra money. Such a ridiculous policy and feels Like price gauging. And NO ONE I spoke with would make any exception
Constant poor service
I have rented 3 different vehicles this year two being from the same location. On a reservation from 7/31-8/9 my car was below standards for a rental. Car wasnt at my location so had to uber 15 miles away to pick up the car. Was on 1/4 of tank and Found a whisky bottle under my seat after driving 7 hours. I think I’ll look for a different company to rent from

First hurdle was to find my reservation within the app. Copying and pasting from the reservation email doesn’t work. Need to remove hyphens!

Budget make everything seamless and easy to navigate. Even having to cancel one leg of my reservation was easy and convenient I will definitely use budget again in the future

Flight delay causes $50 increase
I booked a reservation to pickup a car at 5:00pm. Had flight issues and picking the car up 5 hours later changed the rate by $50. Not cool.

Fix your drop downs
Try to make a rez and put in US Virgin Islands or Puerto Rico. It insists that you have to use the drop down for state or province but won’t give you any options. And because you can’t fill it in, you get an error when you try to submit. Pro Tip: credit card processors only care about the zip. So I chose USA and Virginia but put in my Virgin Islands zip and it went right through. Sheeesh. Make info fields mandatory that don’t even matter.

Need a chat line to resolve issues. Waited on the telephone for an agent and it took over an hour . The only contact options are by telephone - no chat or email options.

My rentals at the TPA location were quick and painless. Easy in and easy out for pickup and return. Attendants were helpful and courteous. Will use whenever I am in the area.

Every time I login it tells me that wrong information. Change the password and was successful then go back to the app and then it tells me wrong information again
Keep getting push notifications after changing my preferences
I keep getting notifications about flight cancellations for Melbourne airport 2 days after returning the car that I hired while down there. Please fix this issue!

Biggest PoS app that I’ve had to use in a long time.
This app and the whole Budget online rental experience has been frustrating and complete waste of time. I hated every minute of it. From the account creation all the way to “something’s gone wrong” when trying to pay and reserve my car. If there was another option to rent a car from anywhere else I would have gladly waited in line than used this PoS app again.
Error message at the end of reservation, failing the experience
After having picked the car, the time and date, location, after having entered my personal information and credit card number I finally tap the Pay Now button at the bottom of the screen expecting to finish the reservation A pop up message "country code must be required" (sic!) is displayed. No explanation what field is incorrect, no fields are highlighted - very poor user experience (I tried editing my phone number by adding country code, with and without zero/ zeroes - no effect). I ended up calling the reservation line, and booked over the phone. It cost me 15% more than the price quoted in the app. Please fix it so that the incorrect field is highlighted, or the error os not present at all.
Var types restricted in app
Its a shame the app does not allow for other car types, like trucks, vans and utes when available at various locations.
