I rode my bike about 45 min away to dine out that U-Save has a mandatory insurance policy. And the staff was super rude. Carla should have that info and advise before we can make a reservation as they do the. Security deposit. I would give negative if I could. Plus I cancelled reserv and did not get my money back for the initial charges

Fast gut
Die Buchung und Abwicklung haben super funktioniert. Die Überraschung kam dann am Schalter vor Ort. Knapp 200 EUR zusätzlich für Fahrer unter 21 obwohl dieser Umstand vor der Buchung abgefragt wurde. Andere Plattformen machen das besser und berücksichtigen das direkt im Preis. Transparenz sieht für mich anders aus!
Have to improve customer support on calls and specify the clear instructions
I had reserved a car through Carla app but they didn’t mentioned about uk driving license should be At least 2 years old to rent a car before reservation. I had went to pick up the car with the supplier third party and they told me they can’t provide a vehicle on my license and they mentioned it should be minimum of two years old and denied simply.I had to change my Total trip and plans,They told me Carla will provide refund which I was paid earlier for my reservation. When I had tried to call them customer care no one answered call and I had emailed them. After an argument with customer support and providing evidence as it was not my fault then they accepted to provide a refund. I thank Sarah, she helped me to get my refund back. If you could mention before booking it would be great and providing a customer support on call will be much easy to communicate and sort it out.

MAJOR RED FLAGS — AVOID!
I booked an Enterprise rental for one week through Carla and was charged $119.14, including what was advertised as full coverage. When I arrived at Enterprise, their system showed that I had NO coverage and instructed the employee to sell me coverage again. I would have been forced to pay twice for something I had already purchased! The Enterprise employee reviewed the reservation with me and warned that the situation appeared extremely suspicious. The employee also advised me that some third-party rental apps like this are operated using AI and are set up to scam customers through misleading reservations and charges. Whether or not that is exactly what happened here, my experience raised every possible red flag. Even worse, Carla placed an Exxon corporate discount on my reservation, although I do not work for Exxon and have absolutely no affiliation with the company. I never authorized the use of that corporate discount. I demanded a full refund, cancellation of the reservation, deletion of my account, and protection of my personal and payment information. This experience left me deeply concerned about how this app handles customers’ reservations, money, and personal data. Save yourself the stress and book directly through the rental company. I would not trust Carla with another reservation or my payment information.

Appreciated Resolution, but Room for Improvement
My experience with Carla Car had some difficulties. I first accepted a refund to my wallet, but when I no longer needed it, it took several communications before my request to return it to the original payment method was accepted. I appreciate their eventual response, but the process caused inconvenience and affected my trust in the service.

Pessima esperienza, mai più. Avevo prenotato tramite Carla Rent fidandomi del buon prezzo e dell’assistenza promessa, ma la realtà è stata ben diversa. 🔴 Auto diversa da quella prenotata: al momento del ritiro, nessuna traccia del veicolo scelto. Mi è stata consegnata un’auto completamente diversa, senza alcuna comunicazione o alternativa. 🔴 Addebito extra non giustificato: il contratto parlava chiaro: cauzione di 200€. Me ne sono stati prelevati 300€ senza spiegazioni. Un abuso. 🔴 Carta di credito discriminata: la mia carta di credito Advanzia (You), perfettamente valida e accettata ovunque, è stata considerata “non idonea” solo perché emessa da una banca online. Sono stato costretto ad acquistare una Kasko aggiuntiva da oltre 200€, senza alcuna possibilità di scelta. 🔴 Libretto di circolazione assente: l’auto era sprovvista di carta di circolazione. Mi avevano detto che mi avrebbero richiamato per sistemare la cosa. Mai ricevuto nulla. 🔴 Assistenza inesistente: nessuno che ti richiama, nessuno che si prende la responsabilità. Tutto lasciato all’improvvisazione. 👉 La sensazione è quella di un servizio gestito in modo superficiale, con un’assistenza che sparisce quando serve davvero. Sconsiglio fortemente. Spendete qualche euro in più ma affidatevi a chi vi tutela davvero.
No $10 a day cars
I clicked on an add that said they have $10? A day cars I knew it was a lie when they directed me to the phx airport 1 st car $73 per day for a basic car not the bmw I seen on the ad for $10. I hate lying ads waste of my time
Careful with places you select
Their system does not honor the location you choose and might book you miles away from your selected pickup/drop-off locations. You only find out after finalizing the reservation and have to pay fees to cancel.

Poor service
We booked a car with Thrifty through the application. When we went to Thrifty and showed the confirmation from Carla, they did not have the booking in their system. We then tried calling the Carla but they picked up and hung up multiple times. There was no immediate response to emails as well. Subsequently, Carla reached out and refunded the amount with no explanation as to why our booking did not show up in Thrifty’s system. Struggling with a car rental booking for almost 2 hours after a long haul flight from Dubai via Amsterdam was very frustrating.
Issue when I rent car but solved
I rent car in menorca with Carla - I had to pick up the car in Goldcar (rental car agency) - unfortunately goldcar asked me to Pay 300e on top of what I paid to Carla. I Will not give moré détails - Anna from Carla customer services helped me and found a way to solve the issue. thanks Anna ! And I Will never rent a car with goldcar in the future !

Rip off
I used this app to rent a car.. I showed up to enterprise in the vehicle was not available.. I contacted Carla to issue refund.. not only that they’re not cancel. It did not refund and now I can’t get a hold of them so I paid Afterpay $200 plus dollars when was never able to get a car or get a hold of a customer service represent be aware of this app and just go directly to the rental companies

They don’t include the details or specific requirements that venders require in order to rent a car it’s strictly just “booking” your better off just going to the rental cars official website instead of overpaying for an unnecessary service and getting charged for a service they didn’t really provide.
Rental issue
Booked a car with europcar thru Carla with extended protection but Europcar refused to accept it & charged me more. I contacted Carla for the issue & extra protection amount was immediately refunded to me by Carla cash. However it would be great of it get processed to same way i used for payment . Jean was great & promptly responded to me on resolution of the issue. Thank you Jean.

I just got into the app and after every move I’m asked to rate the app… I’d like to finish what I’m doing before being bombarded - it’s annoying. Also, your costs are too high.

Great Deals But !
This is from real customer not like the rest. You can get the cheapest cars with Carla as i did. But i figured out that they dont have Call Center! Its only Email. Yes the people respond on your email but they took their time. Their Insurance is from 3rd party not from the Same company that you are renting from ! So, if you book with full insurance from their App, you pay again if you did any accident. Then you will send an email to Carla and Carla will email the 3rd Party and so on. My experience was good so far and i returned the car in safe condition.
perfect app for car rentals
I’m always skeptical of car rental aggregators because of hidden fees at the counter, but Carla was completely transparent. The price I saw at checkout was exactly what I paid, and the insurance/deposit details were laid out clearly before I finalized everything. No weird surprises when I showed up to grab the keys. Highly recommend if you want a straightforward booking process.

FRAUD DO NOT USE
RentCarla advertises cars and prices that aren’t real. It cannot guarantee prices, a car type, seats or transmission. It “only” charges you $20 upfront which is their commission leaving you dealing with the car rental companies on the end. I’ve had a denied booking. Literally no car for you. I’ve had $3,500 security deposits for a one day rental, I’ve had to scale down the car from 7 people to 5 people forcing us to change our trip and getting a fine for having one passenger too many. I have contacted RentCarla’s customer service and they literally did NOTHING. No refunds. They have no leverage with car rental companies it’s just a FRAUD. BUYER BEWARE.

They are thieves and won’t ever return your call. 0 stars. Thanks for the response but o called 8 times leaving 5 messages. No one ever returned my call or answered the phone. Got an email with an excuse to not help at all

Signed up for car rental for $180, charged by the car place for $350, we didn’t accept any ad ons. For the last 3 months Carla have then charged me $19 a month when I didn’t signup for any subscriptions.

Finding Incredible car rental rates is fast and easy. You can see rental cars from all kinds of companies at once. There are big companies and small ones. I like that. All of the comparison websites show the same companies and generic cars. With Carla, I can book with smaller companies as well as Europcar, Avis etc. There are also unique and exotic cars. I rented Porsche Carrera for my birthday and it didn’t blow my budget. I am giving 4 stars because I think they need more filters. Right now, you can filter by car category. Wish there were more filters like car rental company, price.
