Terrible
This app is terrible. Tried paying for parking at local hospital. It would only let me claim for the 30 minutes free. Wouldn’t let me pay on exit. Received a bill. Sent proof. They wouldn’t accept it. It’s a money making scam this app
Hobbyist attempt
It does eventually work once you’ve stumbled through the various bizarre screens. In an effort to make the app “user friendly”, they’ve made it one of the worst experiences possible. Are the input fields standard large fields? Nope, tiny hard-to-read white on light blue with an impossibly small touch area. Do the fields auto complete with my normal detail? No that would make sign up easier. Does it conform to any normal iOS design patterns? Absolutely not, why do that when you can invent your own? Does it call your number plate a number plate? Ha no, it’s a “VRP” or something obviously. Please replace with an iOS app 🙌🏻
Terrible App
The app is really bad, poor design, easy to make a mistake and over pay for parking. Easy to miss a parking payment as no reminder, pay on exit doesn’t always work or pick up your vehicle. To go this is not!!!!!!!
Not intuitive
Hard to change vehicle plate to a different one previously registered. Had to go via receipts.
Quite possibly the worst parking app
Ridiculous set up, seldom connects properly, to add a new car registration requires virtually your life history. Thank god most car parks rely on RingGo which is by far the superior to this abomination of code.
Scrolling issue
Latest version of the app isn’t rendering on mobile phones correctly. Only 3 tiles can be seen and scrolling doesn’t work. Not all features are accessible as a result.
Just awful
Website doesn’t work, app won’t let me pay by card - seriously, it out to be illegal to produce an app and website this crummy!
Irritating!
The app always appears to forget the login and password after it has done an update, which then inevitably requires two attempts to reset.
Bad UX
Awful registration process. Also the flow when using the app is not clear at all. Please rewrite. Definitely worst parking app.
App is a Scam
This exact experience happen to me and my colleague separately so not a one off - you’re forced to download an App to pay for parking at Luton Airport, then asked to fill in all details of location/car/ and duration of stay etc and finally pay for that duration through connecting with your bank. All of which you do. APCOA then connect to your bank, which you confirm, but APCOA then take no payment (£0.00). You’re assuming they’ve taken the amount you’ve agreed on before allowing them access to your bank. A week later you receive a £100 fine from them for not paying for parking!! Please be aware of this scam. Reading these comments it seems it’s systemic.

Waste of time
Dreadful registration process
Phone number? Twice! Email address? Twice! Password? Twice - BUT only 1 of them supports a password manager or text pasting! So secure password options? Forget it! No “sign in with Google”, no passkeys. I gave up.
Not working
Used this app in a hospital car car park set up the session but is was missing when we left had to pay when we reached home then late pay did not recognise the session Such a worry dealing with having to be at the hospital is stressful enough will not use again
Useless
Need to park somewhere and the app refuses to validate two cards…WTF is the point of this app??
