Very easy process.
Absolutely awful rip off
Do not use Holiday Extras. I booked a hotel transfer in Majorca’s through them. When we got there there was no transfer and the company we were told to go to had no record of our booking. Had to call holiday extras emergency number and they said there was nothing they could do - they told me to call a US number which cost me £30 and used all my holiday data up. These calls kept getting cut off. Finally had someone back home manage to call the UK support number who told us to get a taxi and claim it back. Now over 5 weeks later we have tried multiple times to get £160 worth of taxi back and have had no response from anyone. I hope Matthew Pack checks the reviews of his company as they are acting like scammers.

Ich vermisse noch immer die Funktion Buchungen bei Holiday Extras die über meinen Reiseveranstalter erfolgten in die App zu integrieren.
Beware extra charges
Be sure to add in the extra charges that are hidden in the fine detail - I booked an overnight hotel stay with airport parking only to find I had to pay an extra £25 to park overnight at the airport - and the hotel don’t tell me that and if I hadn’t seen the machine hidden in the reception area I might have instead got a parking fine! When I worked it out it was no more expensive to book the hotel with parking and airport parking separately!!
Vorsicht bei Buchung
Wir hatten Hotel mit Parkplatz und Shuttle für einen Abflug aus Köln gebucht. Bei Ankunft im Hotel erfahren der Shuttle ist nur One Way. Mussten 30€ Taxi vom Flughafen zurück zum Parkplatz bezahlen, ob es sich dann noch lohnt hier zu buchen???

Kein löschen möglich!
Nachdem ich merkte, dass die App völlig sinnlos ist für mich, wollte ich sie samt aller von mir gespeicherter Daten löschen. Das war nicht möglich!

Persönliche Daten
Versuche seit Tagen meinen Vornamen komplett einzugeben, gelingt nicht, es bleibt immer nur der erste Buchstabe gespeichert, anschließen die übliche Leier, die persönlichen Daten zu vervollständigen und die Bestätigung, dass alles ok ist, obwohl sich nichts geändert hat
Latest update confusing
Have used Holiday Extras for some time. Latest update makes reading details in the app poor. Why do companies insist on changing things that actually are good to ones where the pages are confusing and quite frankly to busy. Appears to have been done by someone who likes doodling.

Probably my 10th time using very easy hassle free highly recommend
Very poor
New update is very poor. Phone number cannot be saved - it disappears after adding. Communication preference cannot be set as error message that email address not found. Help AI is useless and lower keyboard covers the input screen. It looks like it has barely been been tested. No confidence in using this app.
Geduld am Ende
Hab mir die App runter geladen weil ich noch einen Gutschein habe. Ich fange jetzt mit einer Buchungsnummer 10. mal an weil jedes Mal wenn ich etwas neues eingebe der Bildschirm weiß wird und nix mehr geht. Bankdaten eingegeben auf ok Bildschirm weiß SMS Benachrichtigung eingegeben Bildschirm weiß Gutschein Code eingegeben auf ok Bildschirm weiß App schließen App öffnen Von neuem alle Daten komplett eingeben. Bin grad nur noch genervt Hab ein iPhone 13 pro also auch kein altes Handy mit neuester Software

Waste of time
Just book direct. They are worse than useless - if anything goes wrong they just conveniently direct you to the other party, and keep your money. They also don’t share important information, so you will find that the third party won’t recognise your booking, or will say they had to cancel because of no information.
Bezahlen mit KK funktioniert nicht
Ich möchte einen Parkplatz buchen. Beim Bezahlen, kommt noch der Hinweis, dass man die Zahlung bei der Kreditkartengesellschaft freigeben muss. Dort kommt aber nichts an. Im Web funktioniert alles einwandfrei. Nutze die App daher nur zum Anschauen von Buchungen. Nervig sind dann die mails, das man seine Buchung abschließen soll.
Easy travel insurance
Very easy to do with excellent rates ,have used Holiday Extras for all my insurance needs including cruise cover for years , Have checked other insurance companies but always come back to HE.
Airport transfer
Useless app will never be using this app again and will make sure everyone knows too. Booked my airport transfer, chose the hotel that i wanted to be taken too only to see that it’s a complete different hotel on the booking confirmation. 2hrs away from where I needed to be. Tried to speak to someone about this as I was left stranded but there was only the bot chats which were completely useless. Tried to speak to help and support, they asked what was the problem but there was nowhere to type the answer in?? Spent 4 days trying to get in contact with them and have gotten nowhere. I have now spent nearly £200 on airport transfer as had to book elsewhere. SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE AND MONEY AND DON’T USE THIS APP.

Forced download - just email my booking
Don’t know why Holiday Extras make me download this app every time I make a booking. It adds nothing that I couldn’t get via an email with the address of the parking I have booked and the confirmation. Instead I have to download a 100mb app onto my phone (presumably so they can track my data) to find out what I could just have read in an email if they would send one! The only company I know that insists on working this way. Very annoying

Terrible app
It showed a booking that hadn’t fully completed and so we turned up to the airport without a parking space . Company no help and cost a fortune for emergency parking

Buyer beware
I had a voucher from a cancelled booking. Tried to use it for a new booking for car parking but all the money was taken from the credit card. Contacted Customer Services but the voucher can only be used like for like and as this’s booking did not include an overnight stay I could not use it. Tried the ‘if you see same cheaper we will refund the difference’ which is not worth the paper it is written on and is not honoured. Cancellation supposedly free but isn’t as you get a voucher which is difficult to use Poor Service Holiday Extras

BEWARE Hidden term changes for large vehicles. Had my pants pulled down 2hrs before flight. Killed my spending money and seriously impacted my holiday.No choice but to pay up. BEWARE OF SCAMS
