Mr
Fantastic Car Park
Beware
I tried to use This app to pay a £2 parking chargeLlandudno. It added 89p automatically then try to upscale it to £3.20. By asking me repeatedly to donate to charity. Hmmmm. It also wanted my full contact details including date of birth. Which was very suspect. The app didn't work despite repeated attempts so I went to the Machine and paid £2. I see that it's run by parking eye. Just google how reputable they are!!!
Misleading timings
The auto-filled parking start time often predates your arrival by an hour. If you don’t check carefully you end up returning late or being overcharged. I have not experienced this with other parking apps.
Doesn’t save card info
I don’t have time to faff around typing in card info every day. What’s wrong with a normal pay machine?
Another parking App
Not another parking App to sign up to. 🙁 I already have 5. I had 5 minutes to park and get to where I needed to be. It took 20 minutes to download the app, add car details and find the venue. All this to get to the point where it told me parking at the venue was free despite signs saying otherwise. Nowhere in the menu does it indicate that you can add card details. Not a good experience.
Shocking app made me late for my appointment
Not intuitive need to work on user interface previous reviews talk about issues with timing how it was telling me I had six minutes free I haven’t got a clue
Try to avoid
Watch out. Many hidden fees
You had one job
Forced to use this unusual parking app and surprised by its low ratings. Not any more. It kept getting stuff wrong. I am 100% confident I paid for two hours, after one it told me I needed to extend. I did so and it told me I had paid one price and charged me another. I use parking apps all the time and this one seems full of glitches.
Scam
Scam makes you pay 4hours rather than just 1 hour awful
Hostile to end users
Sorry to say this app is really hostile to end users. Not intuitive to use at all. You have to enter the start and end times of your parking - it defaults to about an hour earlier so if you assume you want an hour it’s really easy to accidentally set the end time to a few mins after you arrived, OR end up using 2 hours because you assume the start time is the time you started the parking transaction. It should be how long do you want from now not times that are prone to error. Asks for a donation to charity with the default as yes I do want to donate - no looks like it’s greyed out so you can easily think you have to or just choose yes without thinking. Terrible design.
WTH
I parked from 638 to 710 and was charged 4.50! How is this right?? Said I had to pay for 2 hrs!
Terrible
Kept getting an error when trying to use Apple Pay, was forced to enter card details. Extremely buggy too - only used this as I had no other option
Really poor
Now third time of trying to set app up. If you are considering using this app for your car park - don’t. Do some real world tests as for some reason this app is poor
Overcharging
The app wont let you pick the time you left unless its current or in the future so unless you use your phone while driving or set it to a future time prepare to overpay, support also ignored me when I put a ticket in about this, avoid.
Awful
The app is very buggy and fails to process locations and payments correctly. The app often thinks you are in the wrong car park and charges you incorrectly. The payment flow is also buggy and fails.
Dispicable
It made the parking 10 times harder, it is not accessible. Like an addict collecting cigarette butts next to a bin; evology parking is clutching for your data outside hospitals when precious minutes could be spent caring for loved ones. Who ever designed this; I hope your dog rubs its compacted gland on your toast.
