My haven holiday stay
My haven holiday was brilliant I really enjoyed staying at my chalet it is perfect for a family with children. They have a lot of things and places to go to keep them occupied. you can go out into the main mall and go to the arcade or the swimming pool and go out for a nice dinner at the Lighthouse bar for a nice dinner out with the family they have a lot of necessities in the chalet for day to day use like Kitchen utensils, mugs the oven and fridge, and for the living room a nice comfy sofa are free to use TV with a TV boxThe Wi-Fi is not very good. If you pay for premium you will get a really good Wi-Fi network, but if you use the free holiday home Wi-Fi, you will experience your Wi-Fi cutting off every two minutes In the living room, you have a patio outside to add a fully functioning, sliding patio door to let fresh air come in to keep your chalet cool.
Camping
We have stayed here so many times with no problems in a haven caravan but this time we done the camping…we was really put off little sea from this..the facilities were dirty to the point you dint want to use their showers..the toilets were awful. I thought as it was camping they would get cleaned more than once a day. We also arrived on the park and it seemed to be full of travellers (no issue with that) but dogs barking and tied up all day with no person even on that pitch and driving around the campsite just going around and around non stop till half 1 in the morning! It really ruined our experience which is such a shame as we loved it here got do many years…the Pitch wasn’t great definitely not reinforced grass.
Not as we usually get
This holiday has been spoiled by the caravan that we were allocated, we have had many wonderful holidays with haven, but this isn’t upto the standards that we have come to expect, I know that we chose a saver holiday but in the past we have always enjoyed our holiday and the caravan has always been better than expected, but even though it was a late booking and we paid more than usual. That said we’re not very happy with our caravan, it was v small you could barely stand at either side of the doublebed the beige carpet was not very clean. All in all we are very disappointed with the quality of caravan that we were given.

Disappointed , we booked on the touring site, we were not greeted , nobody at check in.. when someone showed up in a little bob cart we couldn’t understand him or see his face, we were then shown to what I’d described as a small run down field with dog dirt spread about, The showers and toilets were absolutely disgusting filthy full of dirt and mould , the onsite pub was just as bad the toilets stank of wee , all drinks were overpriced, Bingo £20 each to play, reception don’t know anything about anything.. The check in guests in reception all complaining about filthy caravans . This was supposed to be a 5* site well I’d of not even given it a 1 ., we packed up and left in the night as we couldn’t sleep a wink for all the black crows that constantly surrounded our van , we were actually scared to be there , the site team were also the cleaners in all toilets ( women’s too) and we didn’t feel safe at night we honestly thought we were going to be eaten ( Whitickers) what a Terrible experience it was .., Stay away at all costs .

Uncomfortable
We stayed in a bronze caravan so wasn’t expecting anything special, but I was not expecting an old very uncomfortable bed which was so noisy, couldn’t even roll over without making such a loud noise and waking you up, so not had a good sleep all weekend, on top of this there was a hole in the bedroom door which I would assume was from being hit against the bathroom door, and finally just old and a bit tatty; marks on the sofa cushions and the sofa seems small normally has a corner sofa but this was just against one wall.
Useless for activities this time
Unable to use app for activity booking. Just keeps scrolling even when WiFi signal strong. Unable to change bookings So frustrating when previously good
Great holiday destinations
We have just come back from Haven Doniford Bay with my teenager, my young daughter and partner and we had the best time. I definitely rate this park highly
DISGUSTING!!!!
Made the most of what we could, park was closed only booked swim & 2 activities, we were there this time last year & everything was open!! Water inside pool was off all 3 days was there mon-fai but could only book tues-thurs, caravan, someone had banged up in there before us!! Left blood & bandage on curtain rail! Got bites all through our holiday, seriously not happy!!
Not a nice atmosphere
Caravan was clean when we eventually got in at 5pm , check out was 10am and cleaners were standing outside at 9.15 waiting. Entertainment wasn’t great and the atmosphere in the park was horrible even this was for kids

Misleading
Very disappointe , I paid over £1000 to take my teenage granddaughters for a nice getaway this summer and when we arrived the caravan was not up to standard at all. It was very dirty, visible marks everywhere, crisps spilt on seating, only two out three bed sets, even though I had paid for a three berth caravan, my freshly clean socks that I put on when I got there where black brite, after walking on the carpets, paint scattered all over beds, and caravan in general, the toilet had dirt marks on it also. I paid extra for a more modern caravan yet was presented with this awful mess. I went to the reception to complain and let the staff know about everything including the crockery with bean juice and wine, and unfortunately the managers response was somewhat of a stressful one. Not what a pensioner needs to be presented with during this circumstance. Not good enough. Will not be going back. All the other staff were really nice except the manager.

Amazing
Just arrived home from here. Due to friends saying oh no it’s rubbish after they have been to different haven sites I wasn’t expecting much. How wrong was I?!!! We have had the most amazing holiday ever! We went for a week. The people on the entertainment team need a huge shout out. Absolutely brilliant. It was so good that when we arrived home we immediately booked two weeks in august 2027. Best holiday we ever had that!
Dirty an not safe
My baby can’t play out side due to dangerous metal objects coming out the ground Public hairs in bathroom it’s as dirty as pontins Caravan next door had music blasting till gone 12 baby couldn’t sleep not really sure what iv paid for but won’t be coming back going Home early as it’s made me depressed

Literally the best site of all the Havens
came here for a three night break with my family and two small children. This is quite literally the best site of all the haven sites. (The app helps a lot ) , and the staff are outstanding from every sector in terms of, hospitality, entertainment, from the doormen at Apex secutrity, they put up with my niece who was packing their heads most nights !!! They are all so attentive to the children and it’s all Child centred / child focused. It took us a long time to get here but it was worth every second. I cannot believe how amazing the staff are. They are polite, professional and go above and beyond. The site is kept in a brilliant state and nothing is too much trouble for any member of Staff, Even the minimart tell us to have the best of the day and say “have a great rest of your day. “ Little things go along way from the roller disco Staff to the boat Staff to Elliott on the boats and cars and the Australian lady at the inflatables just 2nd to none. Loved every second of our stay in our lodge . Also if you can afford to upgrade, I would always suggest it as well. Claire Cheshire.
Not Recommended At All
Our stay was quite disappointing overall. The park was extremely crowded, and the caravan wasn’t as clean as we expected. It also had a noticeable musty smell. The activities are very expensive, even if you purchase the Play Pass. We paid an extra £100 for ours and barely used it because many of the free activities were fully booked. In hindsight, I wouldn’t recommend buying the Play Pass unless you’ve already secured the activities you want. I’d also avoid the arcades. We spent around £10 trying to win a few prizes, then watched for about an hour and didn’t see anyone win anything. It just felt like the machines kept taking people’s money. The instructions for using the appliances in the caravan were unclear, which made things unnecessarily frustrating. For a company that says it values its customers, it was disappointing that not even a single complimentary teabag was provided—a small gesture that many places offer. Overall, it just wasn’t my cup of tea. In my opinion, the experience is highly overrated, especially considering the price. I’ve stayed in many Airbnb properties that were much better maintained and offered better value than this.
Could do better
The floor in the living room not very clean. The Tv needs better connection, all channels pixilated un watchable. Had to constantly boost heating. Very cold in the night when it knocked off

Disgraceful stay - Touring Pitch 142 - White 12-17th July 2026 !!!!
We booked in to Perran Sands on Sun 12th July and should have stayed 5 nights as booked and paid for. On arrival we had very noisy neighbours next door (143) with an old caravan, no Haven check in available on view, no number plate on the old caravan … with 2 adults and 5 children, a red car & a grey transit van. The parents and 3 younger children stayed in the old caravan and the older two teenagers slept in the transit. They were very noisy and disrespectful of our pitch area … then behind us we had a caravan with a 2026 number plate on the landrover and caravan with another 3 noisy children and the parents were very loud talking to the children too. We ended up yesterday afternoon having enough of the site as with this experience and how much the touring site has changed over the years we have since moved off this morning after just 2 nights of staying , enough was enough … we didn’t want to go through the hassle of complaining & being moved so decided to leave, my husband is also disabled so he was livid with this trip. We also spoke to other neighbours around us and they felt exactly the same way. Fed up with dogs barking and running around off leads, also the problems with the seagulls all day and early mornings waking us up, the red dust Sunday afternoon which was terrible and got in our eyes. This will definitely be our last visit to haven sadly, but as you have now done away with euro pitches you are obviously going down the route in the future to be no touring ! If this was travellers next door to us on pitch 143, they packed up yesterday removed the EHU cable and all went off site about 5pm left the caravan still on the pitch - we believe it’s been dumped as others around thought the same. The caravan was still there this morning, I tried to track down the touring wardens attention when he drove past this morning but to no avail I feel in light of this that we should receive a full refund … I will be taking this further
Cheap but not CHEAP.
We have been a few times to Haven sites and never been disappointed with the area,site or caravan. Parking mostly at the side of your accommodation which is a definite plus if you are nervous about your car being scratched. If there are only 2 of you the saver caravan is plenty big enough and has all the amenities you need. Best of all the beds are already made for you. Book one and have a nice break.

£20 charge to speak to someone?
Logged into the app to change my details as none of these are correct anymore. When submitting it notifies me that I have to log in. Which I already am. The robot response simply tells me to do the same thing but if I want to contact by email or telephone the charge is £20. For what exactly?

I am so happy to stay at haven and I would recommend them to all families with children and dogs

24 cheddar close. Needs a deep clean, the only thing cleaned in van were the sheets
