I’m happy that the online services perform well, I wish the facial recognition was better.
Password
I have to reset my password every single time I use this app. It’s absolutely insane. All because it won’t save the facial scan and it won’t save the password. Terrible app.
Substandard quality
Constantly crashes, glitches, and or makes you confirm identity through text messages… freezes frequently. A complete joke of an app for a bank that is already mid tier at best

They seem to have a lot of problems with the app I think they need to upgrade to a different app like what Chase uses

i received a check that i was up front with them about. they threaten to cancel my account saying i committed fraud. i did not commit any fraud

Limited options, it’s not very efficient.
Works…barely
App loading after login can be very slow and has lots of network connection issues whether connected to wifi or data. Typically I have to open the app 2-3 times to check charges, deposit checks. Overall it does do what it is supposed to do but is buggy.
Inaccessible
( -10 stars ) I’m always struggling to log in, getting the same error message of connection issues. I’ve tried calling support that blames my phone or internet service. I’m an OTR trucker, been all over the 48 states on so many different networks, all other apps never have a VPN or security locking issue; its frustrating having no support when their systems are failing. I left this bank with app to find a better bank that will actually help when there’s an issue, if you don’t need to use the mobile app for your bank it’s fine but I’m OTR so much that it’s a necessity and this app has a log in issue every time and it may take days until I’m finally able to log in, by then it’s far too late. Very disappointing.
Just OK
Basic app. Not as useful as other banks. Views of accounts and actions are a bit more limited. Forced to go to website for further actions.

UCB online
I use the online system all the time , whether to pay my bills or transfer money from one acct to another and it’s very easy to navigate UCB’s online system. If I have to go to the bank all the employees from the tellers to the bankers are all extremely nice and helpful!!UCB is an excellent bank.
Frustrating
The new revamp of this app is so slow. I loved the older version of the app, I found it much more user friendly. Current update either doesn’t load or takes forever to load.
App itself is good, Zelle is BAD
App design is pretty, compact, easy to navigate, and has plenty of support options. HOWEVER, DO NOT USE UCB’s INTEGRATED MONEY-TRANSFER SOFTWARE. This software is titled “Zelle” and it will only cause you pain. Multiple times in the last month I’ve sent money to and received money from my brother with multiple roadblocks. The app will frequently ask you to log in to the native software portal to verify identity and “accept the payment.” That seems all fine and dandy, except after much wasted time, you will find no way to accept the payment, leaving the money in limbo somewhere. Currently experiencing this situation, and my brother can’t even stop the payment without being charged an extra $20 - the amount he initially sent to me was $32 to assist me in covering a negative amount in my account. The money has been taken from his account and there is currently no way for me to accept and deposit it into mine. This has also led to scams. Someone online is targeting those looking to verify their Zelle information by making a mock Zelle website and using their phone support to scam people out of money - asking them to “verify their app compatibility by sending money to an unknown number.” This is predatory - UCB may as well be sending customers straight into the arms of scammers. Please @Zelle upgrade the software or @UCB integrate some other, better money transfer software. Venmo and PayPal are accredited and seem to have no issues.

Pathetic
How exactly has this change been an improvement?? This is the slowest app I've ever used! Web page is even worse!! How is it that as a business, I had to call multiple times and request that all of our accounts appear on the website and on this app, I have multiple accounts but can't see them unless I make a request to do so?? Who does that even make sense to?? Can no longer copy and paste from the website. Can only see 25 transactions per page and have to sit and wait for each page to load. It's absolutely ridiculous that anyone could possibly think this is an improvement! I wish the idiots who thought this whole thing up we're actually people who used this site! It's horrendously horrible!!

This is the BEST BANK!!! They have always been on their promises!! I’ve had a few close calls with fraud and always on top of it!! They do and have always put us customers first!! Appreciate you always!!
Regarding the new “update”
Didn’t have a problem with the previous version, they did an “update” few weeks ago and I think it is terrible now. Thinking about getting rid of it.
Makes life a little easier
This app has saved us so much money over the years! It’s an easy way to keep track of our accounts and sends me a text message if an account gets below a certain amount, thus saving me from getting an overdraft or automatic transfer. And I can make transfers between accounts or pay extra on a loan any time of the day or night.

They have always been super to me and very friendly. When I have had a problem they have helped me
