Great bank, lousy app!
Using mobile banking with KFCU is frustrating on the best of days and continues to get worse. I enjoy working with the people at my local branch, but both mobile and online access continues to get worse instead of better. At some point I’ll probably take my banking elsewhere since online and mobile are increasingly important.
What Happened to the Account View?
Why did you remove the account view that allowed us to see our balances without logging in? Please bring it back. Thanks.

Horrible app
Cannot access credit card benefits, and cannot set up auto pay
App not loading or working
Has anyone else had this problem recently or at any point cause I can’t get on my app to do anything it won’t open or load up so that I can see my accounts and or transfer any money !!!
Little more than a snapshot
This review is based on being outside the CONUS and especially focuses on the credit card. Other institutions (USAA) allow for greater flexibility in approving transactions through the app that KFCU does not. I have had multiple transactions canceled, flagged for fraud, or been unable to complete based solely on KFCU’s inability to accept a foreign (in my case, a UK) phone number to send an approval code. There is no option to receive through email or through the app. I understand KFCU’s constrained by either status of forces agreements or federal regulation, but, when truly needed, I have no confidence in the bank, the credit card, which makes the app nothing more than an account balance check. It’s too bad because it could be so much more helpful.

App constantly makes me log in two or three times, transferring verification codes consistently done work, and absolutely no ease whatsoever within the app to change information.
E banking easy
Using the Keesler app I can almost anything I can do in a branch. All my normal banking needs are quickly completed through the app.

Fantastic App for banking but “Remember Me” feature does not work so you have to sign in to the app every time which is super inconvenient.
Updates
Ever since the update its so hard to find anything like account numbers or routing or just anything that i need about my account. I wish the app stayed how it was before the update
Developers, please take notes!!
I am currently switching over from US bank to the Keesler credit union and I must say…the US bank’s app is sooo much better. Please consider requiring a passcode/Face ID to get into the app. It’s crazy how I can just open the app and see the amount of money in my account. With US bank, you can’t access anything or even see how much money you have in you account until you enter your password/face ID. To me, that makes the app seem more secure. I also don’t like how whenever I use my card, I don’t get a notification. With US bank, anytime I make a purchase, I get a notification saying how much I spent and where. It helps me keep track of my purchases and although I’ve never had my account compromised, I’m sure those alerts would help in the case when an unknown/unapproved purchase is made. Finally, I don’t like making mobile deposits with this app. What is the point of writing “for mobile deposit only”?? It seems kind of pointless and there’s no room anywhere to really write it. Overall, to me, this app does the bare minimum and could be so much better if they did a little bit of research on what is expected from mobile banking apps. There are several banking apps out there! Have some better, more secure features!

Absolutely Horrible
Please save yourself time, headache, and money by never opening an account with this god awful credit union. This app is glitchy, outdated, and at some points completely inoperable. Not to mention that KFCU doesn’t follow their own rules and guidelines for appropriate payout times and overdraft fees.
Easy & simple to use

Pointless Update!!!
New update is complete garbage! You no longer can see the date your deposits will occur, like the previous version. The larger display is useless.
Loan payment
Idk what is going on but for the past three months I haven’t been able to make my payment online. Whenever I pull up the loan payment it won’t keep the keyboard up so I’m having to go in store to make my loan payment. The web browser doesn’t even give the option either. It would be 5 stars if y’all would fix this.
Apple Watch support
I wish y’all would bring back Apple Watch support. Sometimes I leave my phone behind and it would be nice to heck balances and do small banking actions
no zelle
They offer zelle up and down on the website yet you cannot access zelle at all through the mobile app😄 you actually can’t make any transfers through the app. Only through 3rd parties such as apple pay, which i had to manually type my card in… app needs a major update with tools that work
Great app
Very convenient & useful banking app. May have errors sometimes but it rarely happens. They work quick to get the bugs fixed. If you have a keesler account this is the app to have!
New version 400.1.2
New user interface is way too big on for display. Is there a way to make it smaller like the previous version? I am not using an iPad and cannot see my accounts on one screen. Any customization or way to go back to previous version?

App doesn’t work. Very frustrating.
App locks up
New iPad, I sign in pay a bill then try to access dashboard. “Error-Try again” at that point the only way to use the app again is to sign out and reboot the iPad.

Maybe it’s KFCU and not the app itself but it takes several days for debits to be withdrawn. They obviously hold withdrawals to create OD. They should have a discussion with Bancorp’s to see how that worked out for them.
I don’t understand the 5 star ratings
The app looks great, but that’s only when you can get into it. When the Face-ID does work, I have to force close and reopen literally every time just to log in. Then once your in, all the menus take ages to load, and a lot of the time you have to switch menus a few times just to get one to load (specially when I’m trying to make a transfer.) They really need an experienced web developer to fix this app instead of skimping in this area. Ease of access is NOT there.
Log in
Stop F-ing making me have to get a code each time I log in on the computer. Even though I always check the remember me box I still have to get a test code every freaking single time.
Fix this app
This app so incredibly bad it’s laughable. Want to stay signed in? Tough the button doesn’t do anything. Want to transfer money around your accounts? Better be ready for it to take some serious time
