Very useful mobile and desktop
One program that can be used both with my iPad and laptop. Replaces my subscription to Adobe. Ability to work with pdf files on my iPad is particularly useful.
Used to be the best software
I had purchase a perpetual license so it ment I didn’t get any new versions up dates or the ai features now they have removed features that were included when I purchased the software for close to $250.00 per computer
One piece to perfection
I cannot paste copied image directly from keyboard clipboard, so I have to save image to gallery then import it in foxit (which is 1. Annoying 2. Gallery turns into mess due to tons of one-time-use screenshots.. If you could solve this, then it will be the number 1 for sure…
Will not read pdf files longer than 120 pages
This limit basically makes this program worthless to me.

Foxits almost does it all
I wish you could over lay pdf drawings and get an accurate take off when setting the scale correctly. (If it does do this. How would I go about it?)
Poor Editing
The app looks similar to the desktop counterpart that my company uses. However, it struggles to do anything close to what the desktop version does. (1)You can’t select text and adjust its size despite just inputting the text box. (2) Settings for text size and font do not get saved, the app defaults to Courier 18pt. (3) when you go to adjust the size 18 before you start typing, it will show the previously selected text size, but it will never actually input at that size, same goes for font. Mine says ArialMT and 10pt but the UI displays Courier 18pt after having to manually close the windows for font and size selection. Another annoying tidbit. I found you can get around this annoying portion by going to the “Fill & Sign” section, but you are then limited to only adjust size and not font. Really dissapointing for an $84.00/yr application if you go the monthly subscription route.
Great app, needs minor tweaks.
IMHO, the only things that prevents a 5-star rating of perfection pertains to highlighting & comments. If the text of a bullet list is copied when highlighting the format line breaks from a bullet list are ignored; whereas selecting the text and copying preserves all line breaks, which sometimes means there could only a few words per line from words in a textbook where te text is adjacent to a diagram. Also, while editing comments the hit box for “Ok” and “Done” NEEDS to be larger (no matter if that means a larger banner at the top of the comment box). We also need the ability to enter RGB codes for highlight colors (and save them as a preset) to ensure we match the same color as in the PC version…as of now I need choose a random orange color in the app, then on PC filter the comments to only show the various shades of orange, then edit the properties to select a presaved custom color. Lastly, when summarizing only comments we should have the option to consolidate multiple pages. As of now if I highlight one sentence on page 500 & one sentence on page 501, the “Summary” will create two pages for these. So for paramedic books, out of 2,100 pages (with ~350 pages remaining to read), the “Summary” is 650 pages and most pages only have 1-3 highlighted items. If a page has only 4 words highlighted, then the “Summary” will use an entire page! This mostly contradicts the definition of “Summary”…a more accurate description is “Exporting comments to PDF”, not a “Summary”. To have a “Summary” document that is actually useful, I would need to copy+paste everything in to MS Word, Google Docs, etc.
Greedy and terrible
What an awful surprise. After paying 15$ for a year subscription, I find out that the very basic features of “compress pdf” to reduce file size, is a SUPER PREMIUM feature that you need to pay MORE cash for! So disappointed, what a waste of money and what a dishonest app. Thankfully, there are now tons of free websites, including even Adobe, where you can reduce your odd file size for free. Adios, foxit!
Annoying reset of page size
In the Views menu, there should be, or if it already exists, it's not working properly, an option to always maintain the page size adjustment as the user left it. The manual cropping, as it is, doesn't work when you want to make the page smaller than the maximum horizontal width. This improvement is important because it's annoying to have to readjust the page size to your liking EVERY TIME you switch applications.
Great and Really Low-Consumption app
I Updated my Ipad pro m4 to 26 ipad os, after that Preview app for reading is not an Option, for a huge consuming battery life..but this Foxit manage battery with astonishing care and the files stay low and light-weight in ssd. Tnx guys.
Frustrating
I use Foxit Phantom on my PC, and for the most part I’m happy with it. All I’m trying to do with PDF Editor is highlight and make some notes on a PDF but it closes often making it extremely frustrating and unusable.
Tools disappear
I love this app but there is currently a bug where I am using tools and my selected tool will disappear from my toolbox, when I try to add it again it doesn’t show the + sign and I’m left without some tools

Buggy
Riddled with bugs. Can't change the font size of added text or copy/paste text boxes. Randomly crashes, especially when trying to undo. Terrible mobile app
Pretty Great Until It Went to Subscription
I got a version of this for a one time payment back in 2020. They were a young company, made a great product, provided great support for it, and for a low cost. Recently I found out they are moving to a yearly subscription fee and no longer supporting the version I bought. I know monthly / yearly subscriptions are how extraction economies work. But "they" make a product and then have little incentive to keep improving on it and rent it to "us" indefinitely and just harvest money. We don't get to own things anymore, even software licenses. It's taking a toll on our culture.
Better than acrobat except dark reader is unreadable sometimes
While dark reader is on, it forgets to flip the colors of some elements and ends up displaying white text on white backgrounds

Report crash
Thanks for your great job. I always use your app for reading books and all types of pdf files. There is a crash bug in your app. If I keep my phone in landscape mode and then open app. It opens in portrait mode. While the phone is still in landscape mode if I click on any of my pdf files from the recent list the app will suddenly close without any prompt.
Paywall palooza
One paywall after another, the “cloud version” is extremely glitchy on the iPad with the dialog boxes opening offscreen and trapping the user, and it sounds like I’m doing Morse code as it take some random number of presses to open or select anything. Such better free options out there than this. Seems to be to busy pushing AI product then supporting the existing system.

Palm rejection is bad when drawing with Apple pencil
It registers drawing from finger even when I am holding Apple Pencil . also there’s a bug like if I draw a bunch of stuff together and only want to remove a part of it it removes the whole thing I have drawn together even though they are not joined
Page appears blur
Page appears blur while moving pages or zoom in and out page.
Worth it
Foxit has been my best friend the last year and a half. It is compatible across all of my Apple devices, the features that come with the $10 annual plan is beyond a steal.

Desperate for Free Trial forgetters
Not only do you have to pay to remove a password, but you can’t do a free trial through the Apple ecosystem somehow and it takes you to their website which is crazy Another L pdf editor that hides less common functionalities behind paywalls like every other one

iPad app crashes constantly
This software works wonderfully on my Windows computer & Mac, however the paid iPad version is extremely frustrating. The handwriting function with Apple Pencil or just a finger seems to overload it and it crashes constantly. The other problems with handwriting, —once you’ve written several lines on a page, even if they are far apart, when you try to select one line, it always selects everything you’ve written since you chose that button. Handwriting to text is a problem as well, as every time you format text after conversion, the next time you have to do it again and I have yet to find a setting for default formatting. This also applies to typing—you have to format it every time. The full software versions of this alway revert to the last formatting you used. I’ve tried submitting reports for suggestions or problems within the app and it crashes when I do that as well. Using this as a student to try to write or even type on pdfs is useless. I am beyond frustrated and unless it gets fixed, I won’t be renewing this subscription.

There is some issue in night mode. A Like all page become black with letter in white but that black colour not comfortable for eye.

Impossible d’extraire des pages d’un fichier PDF comme je l’ai fait lorsque j’ai « downloadé » l’appli. La flèche permettant de le faire n’apparaît pas. Semble bloqué. Pourtant ce logiciel comblait mon besoin d’extraire des pages d’instructions la journée 1 de l’essai

everything you need in a pdf editor
No help from company
I purchased the mobile version and yet, I continually get pop ups asking me to purchase it when it clearly shows in my apple account I have already purchased it. It is not working well and no one will respond to help me.

Great TTS support but buggy annotations
I primarily use this app because it has both, good TTS support and good support for annotations using Apple Pencil. My biggest issue with this app is that very frequently, my document randomly refreshes and I loose all my annotations. Even I switch the app I loose my edits. Sometimes even while saving it shows an error and deletes all my annotations. It super annoying.

Decent work productivity but improvements needed.
The pencil write up on the pdf is not smooth as it is in other pdf editors .Rectifying it in the upcoming update would make this pdf editor deserve 5 stars due to ease of usage and navigation and productivity.
Not good for image sizing
More function than adobe acrobat but not good for adding images on the document. Image cant be resize to make it work for any doc. I hope they fix this issue
