What they complain about

- App crashes when opening articles
- Page resets to top while scrolling
- Some users feel reporting is biased
Channel 9
I have been watching this station since before Uncle Gus was on, my children went on Uncle Gus. The station was on Elm Street then. I would never want to lose this station however.. recently I am not seeing a lot of the broadcasters on . I think station should not make as many changes .. these were good people. Maybe they did leave on their own. However WMUR does so much for the community. We definitely need you..!
Keeps drilling up
When I’m reading articles it will randomly scroll back up to the top of the page .also it’s not equal when it comes to politics it’s very left wing democratic when it should be captioning the news from both sides of the isle or none at all .
News Alerts
Alerts are not always timely and are not always available on the web feed as listed news.
Ad news
Every news story has a video to watch beforehand on iPad. Use cell, much better. Ap for iPad is not good
Biased
I find that WMUR has become more biased in its reporting of national news. The local news reporting is better when it comes to what is happening around the state but politically speaking it’s very one sided so as soon as that start I watch something else
WMUR
This app gives me all the local news and world news plus my local weather reports. I also change cities to keep up on vacation places I will be visiting. Works great for me.
Not working
The news will not play it just keeps stopping randomly and stops the broadcast and you've got to watch a million ads to get back to the news you were literally just watching I don't know what happened this is as of 02/23/26 happens on both my ipad and my phone I like to listen in the morning while I shower can't please get this fixed
Advertising
To much advertising to get to the news.
Very limited to local
Why such limited coverage for national news? Appears to be selective not unbiased
Repetitive
I enjoy getting breaking news but NOT the same thing several times a day.
Alerts
I love the WMUR alerts; just set your preferences and you get news as it is breaking. I like how the reporting is neutral, not biased to one political party!
Great For Liberal-Opinionated News
The app itself is adequate from a functional standpoint, except that it shows a warning banner on it for “Weather Closings/Delays” even on the nicest of days, so it kind of has “The Boy Who Cried Wolf” effect in that app users have grown desensitized to the banner. Having a “weather warning/closing” banner flashing every time one opens the WMUR app 24/7/365 is absurd! Additionally, the “news” it presents is all liberal gaslighting opinions. Nothing is presented in a neutral, just the facts news manner that would be expected from the Live after or Die state. Lastly, WMUR is a Hearst News Corporation affiliate. WMUR labels political opinion as factual news written by their own Hearst reporters as coming from the very official sounding “WASHINGTON NEWS BUREAU” to deceive readers into thinking that its was written by a 3rd party in Washington. They use the word “Bureau” rather than “Department” to make it sound like an outside civic or oversight organization when in fact it’s an internal department employing Hearst’s own biased reporters. If WMUR wanted to be transparent they would simply label those political opinion pieces as being written by “Hearst’s Washington News Department” rather than the “Washington News Bureau”. Integrity matters! WMUR = NH-MSNBC (MS NOW).
Alerts
I have to open WMUR; to see anything that is going on. No alerts of any kind ? I’ve checked my settings and is completely set up. I even cleared everything and set up from scratch. I felt that would to the trick. No such luck. If anyone can help; I’d truly appreciate it. Maybe a bug, malfunction of the system not sure. But, I sure do miss alerts. I did at one time, years ago? I do get State wide alerts (not affiliated with WMUR). Hopefully if it’s a bug they will be able to fix it.
Crashes often
Love having this app however it crashes frequently when clicking on articles to read. Incredibly frustrating!
App Frequently Resets
WMUR is one of my daily app reviews. However, I am very often frustrated with the app frequently resetting to the top of the page requiring me to scroll through already read content to get to the next story. No other news app does this. I have done all that I can on my end to ensure it’s not “user error”. I’m asking the developer to fix this bug as I’m sure I’m not the only frustrated user.
Tim and Bill
Super Bowl coverage has been fun. Let’s go Patriots. We all we got We all we need
Review
Lean way to far to the left
Keeps reloading
Never has latest news and now it keeps reloading every time you switch to another page to read something. So frustrating!
Meh
Most stories are like- something happened but we have no details. Maybe a real journalist could do things like drive to the hospital and try to talk to family, or drive to the scene of the crime and report what is actually happening. Headlines are atrocious. Not real news imo. I watch for the local weather.
News
Love watching Weather reports Local news is a must
No longer a fair balanced news source
WMUR has shifted so far left I cannot watch any longer. There is never a balanced report when it comes to anything political.
Poor UI
Good for frequent updates on local weather, but when attempting to read articles, the app is prone to lagging out and returning to the main page whenever one attempts to scroll further on the article. Makes reading the actual news frustrating and borderline impossible.
Hearst???
I saw this new notice that Hearst is involved in my data.😳 I’ve deleted WMUR. I really did like this app so much. The weather forecast is so much better than the iPhone’s app, it’s actually accurate!!! Loved the radar! It has news, list of closings, so many useful features I enjoyed and I guess I took it for granted. Sorry to say goodbye to this app, but I don’t want it sharing my data 😢👋 If you ever stop sharing our data, I’d love to know so I can install the app again. I miss it already.
Awesome news.Covers a lot of cities in NH
Thank you
Your resent update caused several issues
Traffic reports come up in Florida, your contact and bug report links do not work. Removing your app and power cycle the iPhone and iPad and reloading your app does not fix any of the problems.
After update app is slow
Updated the app and now there’s a pause every time you click an article or try to open the weather. Definitely not an improvement.
WMUR news streaming
Way too many commercials. So frustrating. I give up getting caught up on news because of repeated commercials
Who’s pushing the “news”?
Endless push notifications throughout the day for useless garbage not even close to news. A push notification from a news app should be breaking news. Awful.
App doesn’t work right
When I go to check the weather and the extended forecast, I will click on the 10 day forecast button and it does nothing. I have to physically scroll down to see what the weather looks like for the next ten days.
WMUR tv
Great news updates that can be access anytime with up to date news and weather reports. Mostly local, but enough national information to keep you informed.
Freaking Greedy Ads!!
I realize Ads pay for content!! But the path this App takes is ridiculous! You can’t see Anything, without being completely bogged down! In a pinch for info I’ll open for clarification, maybe once every 3 or 4 months.. More painful than helpful…
Not the best
Hard to find anything. Too many levels and not enough links. And way too many ads. Good weather. But that’s it. When you get an alert that something new was published you are taken to the same old news. Got to be a better way.
App keeps closing
Since the last update, if you are reading an article it completely shuts down the app. Very frustrating when you have to go and open up the app only to happen again. Hopefully this issue gets fixed quickly.
useless
The prev version was far superior. This, meh. If I could give it a negative star, I would. The worst part: they are an ABC affiliate. Deleted. Done.
Crash Problems?
Is there anyone else out there that finds this website frequently crashes when you’re reading an article; by that I mean it just goes back to the home page?
Right wing?
Poor coverage of protests
