My biometric touch and password don’t work anymore!
My biometric touch always won’t work and my Face ID password is always invalid and it make me (😡😤🙄😢)
Good app, missing features
The app is very functional, but I’d like to see: (1) MORE point progress/breakdown towards VIP status, and (2) using the app’s authenticator as an addition, NOT a replacement, to using one’s password for login.
Bring back the budget tool!
LMCU just replaced the Budget tool with Wallet Wisdom Insights, which is much worse. The new tool does not show me the data I need in order to make informed decisions about my spending. First, I cannot set my own budget categories, but can only use the predefined categories set by the app. Second, my “outgoing” transactions under the “cash flow” tab don’t include transactions from my credit card, making it look like I have much more money than I actually do. Third, the tool does not show me the useful metrics I had from the budget tool, namely spending trends and net worth. What I see now are metrics like my “6 month spending trends”, which for the purposes of budgeting, is meaningless. LMCU, please bring back the budget tool. It was the only reason I used the app in the first place, and was one of my favorite parts of banking here.

The app is fine but it is missing Zelle and push notifications. Add those and everything is perfect!
I get text at 3am. No Bueno.
Great app but I need to find a way to turn off the notification option. I repeatedly get text at 3 o’clock in the morning.

Lacking Balances after Transactions
I appreciate the overall functionality of the app, but one major issue makes managing my finances frustrating. After a transaction posts or while it’s pending, the app doesn’t clearly show whether the displayed balance reflects that transaction or not. It’s hard to tell what my actual available balance is in real time. I’d love to see an improvement in balance reporting, showing a “running balance” after each transaction, including pending ones. That transparency helps with budgeting and avoids confusion. Hoping this can be addressed in a future update!
Update downgraded budgeting tool
I’ve been closely using the budget tool for six months and it had been extremely helpful, but the latest update removed the tool and implemented “wallet insights “ and a very basic budgeting tool. All my data is gone and I’m extremely disappointed with the new features compared to the old. I already switched to Every Dollar for budgeting, but it was a huge hassle to have to start from square one. Please bring the old tool back! I recommended LMCU to others just based on that feature!
E Notices
I received a message from LMCU that I had an E-Notice. I was directed to log on and select’Access emotive and Tax Documents’ under the Services tab. There is a Services tab on the computer app, but there is no such tab on the phone app. I have to have my personal accounts on the computer and the business account on the phone because I can’t have them together on either app. It took me a while to discover that I was overdrawn but I corrected it as soon as I discovered the issue. Other than that, the phone app is fine

Credit Card Balance please!
I just switched banks and started using the app a couple months ago, and my biggest request is to have the option to show how much you owe for the credit card balance (instead of showing what’s available). The other banking apps I’ve used in the past displayed the owed balance in red font (instead of available balance), which feels more intuitive and fiscally responsible to me. I hate needing to sleuth to find my credit limit, and then do a mental subtraction of my available balance from that just to figure out how much I owe. Please add a credit card balance display option in future updates! 🙏🏼
Running balance
1. Very possibly I don’t know what I’m doing. 2. if I put in a three star or above, you guys think everything is OK. So I had to give it two. 3. i’m not gonna do the work myself. You have to provide it for me. Add another column to the accounts page so I can see the running balance.
Weekly need to reset my password
The app is fine, generally, though I do agree, not very user-friendly. My biggest complaint is that for the last month on a weekly basis, the app doesn’t recognize my credentials forcing a reset password. I understand a periodic reset for security, but once a week is indicative of a bug in the programming. I asked customer service to push along the message to developers to investigate and fix problem, that didn’t occur. So please fix this issue. Thank you
Great, but no Zelle
I love LMCU. The Max Checking is great especially when paired with the rewards credit card. The app is a convenient way to access their services and rarely do I find it lacking something, requiring logging in to online banking. I just wish LMCU hadn’t gotten rid of Zelle, which is imo the most convenient payment program. But that’s not an issue with the app, so 5 stars from me.
please bring back the budgeting tool!
i am very disappointed with this “update.” LMCU replaced their most functional feature: the budgeting tool. whatever new “insights tool” they launched is nowhere near as functional and intuitive, and looks “vibe-coded” from one AI prompt. for example, i cannot get detailed expense breakdowns… just a name and a number (ex: shopping: $300). how can you cross-check this information when relevant expenses are not linked? am i supposed to check my hundreds of expenses one by one to see where they were placed? also, what happened to the detailed subcategories? there is now just “shopping.” but what type of shopping? clothing? personal care? games? electronics? the subcategories have been annihilated throughout the app in favor of just a few categories (food transportation health, shopping etc). i miss when i could see breakdowns like gas, parking, maintenance, as well as coffee shops, restaurants, and fast food! unfortunately, it seems like the developers removed everything useful in the “update.” please don’t remove every feature in a fruitless quest for simplicity!
Update
I gave the App a one star review due to the fact that a simple transfer of the app to a new phone caused a malfunction of the check deposit function. After letting the app sit on the "full screen reqired" error for 20 miniuts to see if something would happen, the phone got fed up and the app crashed. After restarting the app it miriculously worked. Don't know why but it's ok now.
Frustrated
Super frustrated as the app continuously logs me out and locks my account. This is without me even using it. I have spoken with the bank many times and they keep having to do a hard reset and don’t know why it is doing this so often.
Mediocre
I don’t mind the app, but I think it needs a lot of work. I think giving the app a little life would be nice. And instead of email updates can you guys add text (sms) notifications.

New feature
The new wallet wisdom insights feature is intrusive and unhelpful. Please include the ability to disable this unwanted feature.
Savings account transaction history
This saving account does not show history like other banks do. If your account has no deposits or withdrawals for a year or more, no history but the balance shows. I don’t like this at all!
Confusing to make changes to payees
I need to change the amount of a monthly bill on bill pay, but I am not sure if I am changing just one (or all further) payment(s). Also why can’t you use a monthly calendar to put in a date something is paid, like the LMCU website uses? Frequently, I try to scroll down on that page, but instead I end up changing the date for a pay,ent! 😖. Please make the app more user friendly.
Love this App
LMCU is the best bank to use. They always have friendly people to help with everything. This is simple and easy to use. The app is also very secure. I never feel at risk banking on my mobile with this app. I highly recommend LMCU to everyone for safe and reliable banking. God Bless 🙏🏻

Impossible to update bill pay with horrible UI
I spent 20 minutes looking for new bill pay disclosures and found nothing. Please make things more accessible

The app is broken. They’re all kinds of errors, and it is impossible to login. This is very problematic when you’re dealing with a financial app. Users must be able to login at all times.
Recurring login issues
Even though biometrics login is offered, it never works. Rather I get consistently get an error message saying “it’s not available right now”. LMCU’s response on how to activate biometric login is not relevant to my described issue.
Worst app ever
I can’t believe how bad this app has gotten. So frustrating and annoying. I might even need to switch banks to get checks deposited
So safe, not even the account holder can access it
So, every time I try to access my account, I have to jump through hoops just to be able to access my own account. It constantly drops linked accounts and is just a general PITA to use. The only saving grace? It’s so safe that a scammer can not get access, because you can’t either.
Needs Serious Maintenance
Horrendous app. I’m able to log in using biometrics maybe 20% of the time. It usually just says “biometric sign in is unavailable at this time.” If I manually input my username and password, it requires me to send a code to either my phone or email. Fine. I choose to send code to my phone. The app times out and says it cannot send a code to my phone at the moment. So I choose email. The email with the code never comes. Total, I’m able to get into my bank account MAYBE 50% of the time. Love banking with LMCU, but the app is a joke. It’s 2025 and most people are accessing their bank info through an app, so there is no excuse for the app to be this bad.
App is broken
App will not log into website. Gives error code http 400. I restarted my phone, deleted and reinstalled the app, restarted my phone again, but get the same error code. I can log into the website from the same phone so it’s not the phone. Very inconvenient as I have checks I need to deposit and can only do that thru the app.
