USELESS!
What’s the point of having an App that doesn’t work? Every time I attempt to deposit a check I get an error message. This issue has been happening for months. I’ve alerted Wintrust on the past to make them aware of it. I had stopped using the App for check deposits partly because I generally don’t use this payment method. However, I received a check on Friday and Sunday and I am not at all surprised that the App, once again failed to work. Now I have to go in to the branch (time consuming) to make the deposit so my question is perfectly valid, what is the point of having an App that doesn’t work??
End of day balance
My stars are 4.5 Anyway, I’m reviewing to request that the app developers can implement end of day balance on the screen that shows each days deductions and deposits. Like a foothold for each day while we scroll and review. We see the date, but don’t know what the balance was at that point. Does that make sense? I hope, I tried. Thanks!
Get the deposit a check feature fixed.
This app literally always says the check can’t be read, very inconveniencing when the bank opens at 9am and you can just deposit your check from home. The app is always malfunctioning when it’s time to deposit your check. It’s very annoying.
Rolling Balance Missing
The newest update took the rolling balance away. I can no longer go back to a certain date to see what my balance was at that time. I can see individual transactions, but not the balance on that particular date in the past. Please bring that back!

User friendly and easy to navigate
Awkward
Works only in portrait mode. Not ideal when using an iPad exclusively in landscape mode. Will change banks if not corrected soon.
Extra click on bill pay
The app is very good except that bill pay defaults to recently paid. I have to change that almost 100% of the time in order to pay bills. I think I looked for a recently paid bill once. Otherwise, I’m going there to pay a bill. It’s an extra step to change it.
Too hard to add to my phone
Why has it been days I’ve been trying to add this app and still nothing.
Zelle app not functioning
I had the upgrade completed and whenever I try to access Zelle it comes up as a blank page!!!

Needs iPad compatibility update - screen rotation
App on iPad doesn’t have screen rotation. You have to use in portrait. Please update this standard app functionality.
Zelle not working
App has always been great. But since their last update Zelle will not open or work. Pulls up a blank screen. So can’t send money to anyone. Tried going thru the Zelle app and it redirects you back to Wintrust stating a Zelle account is already created thru Wintrust. Please fix. Thanks

Love This Bank
As the Title States, it does things that i couldn’t imagine it does, Very professional is this bank, I’m very pleased with them.
Landscape view is not available now
New version of the app seems to have eliminated the ability to view in landscape. Makes it impossible to use with iPad keyboard. Please add landscape option back to the app.
Deposit checks doesn’t work anymore
Ever since the most recent update, it will no longer accept deposits because it always says That there is no endorsement when clearly there is an endorsement on the back of the check. It used to work perfectly. Very frustrating.

Not great
Pretty nasty bug that rotates the camera by 90 degrees when taking a picture for a mobile deposit. It’s been happening for months. You’d think they’d get around to fixing it. User interface is subpar.
Town Bank in the market University student union building. Those guys are great.
I banked with and started off at the Marquette University, bank right in the student union there I don’t know the gentleman name, but I think he was the head of the maybe the manager of the bank. He always have nothing but a warm very warm greeting for me, for this is not so computer savvy lady here and there are a couple of others that treat me with such respect. I know it’s everyone they treat well but I feel so special coming in there. Maybe I’m the oldest person that come in there.lol lol and maybe not I work at a grocery store and it happened to see a lady with her debit card with her and I noticed that it was a Townbank debit card. I said hey sister and she said hey I said I bank with Town Bank myself you know just making small talk ,She said oh I love them , I think I may know this young man’s name, but I don’t want to say it wrong, but I’ll say this if you ever find out who he is, please tell him that Denise want to give him the best review ever actually the bank itself in Marquette University student union those guys are awesome. Thank you so much for letting me speak my peace.

Minor league app
This is an unsophisticated banking app with some funky aspects. Issues regularly occur and although they get addressed, it takes more time than it should. Time I don’t like to waste.
Best customer service
Dawn Pease is the best one that help me alot with this bank account … Wonderful person who has patience with me!!! 😊
Zelle not working
My outgoing Zelle hasn’t worked on this app for months.
Terrible mortgage experience
No idea what this app is like if you bank at Wintrust but as a mortgage customer it’s terrible. Can’t make payments through the app unless I have a bank account with Wintrust. Can’t schedule payments. It’s just a glorified way to get a mortgage statement.

I love the features I’m offered - plus the help I get when I’m having trouble logging in and other issues.
Lacks Split View for iPad
The app gets the job done until the job is using it beside another app. I use YNAB for budgeting, which is happy to support view, but Wintrust does not, making the entire process feel like more of a chore than it already is.
Mobile deposit issue.
When taking a picture of a check to deposit, the camera does not take the picture in a landscape photo. It takes the picture in a portrait photo, and then when the picture is posted, it turns to a landscape photo. It’s hard to get a close-up photo of a check when you don’t see the results before it’s posted. This has been an issue for quite some time. It needs to be fixed.

Mobile deposit issues
The mobile deposit system used to be quick and efficient, now it’s broken. Takes 3-5+ times scanning a check before it recognizes it, and makes you start over each time

Horrible bank
The app is hard to work very confusing the employees are 0 help I got direct deposit to my account but it shows nothing in my account and no one could tell me what is happening they couldn’t even help me activate my card after I gave them the information they requested so I asked them to just close my account because I didn’t want to continue to work with them anymore and they refused to do that as well 0/10 bank especially for first users I recommend a REAL bank I never even heard of anyone using Wintrust
Terrible mobile deposit
Worst mobile deposit system. The camera glitches all the time and goes the wrong direction. I get deposit errors three or four times in a row before it finally will allow the deposit. It’s a huge pain in the butt. I have BMO and Alliant credit union apps and I’ve never had so many problems as I have with Wintrust when it comes to depositing a check.
