Loving AZFCU since 1985!
I started my account in 1985 when the credit union was just a very small operation housed in the Scottsdale Center of the Arts building! I really appreciated that the credit union would refund a portion of the interest we paid each year on specific loans. Unfortunately they have discontinued this but I still love my credit union. They did start a loyalty program that rewards members with discounts on loans depending on how long you have been a member!

Why did you change the online portal?? Was way better before! Please stop asking for a review every single time I sign in!!!
Please fix Zelle access
Latest updates killed Zelle for me, app quits when you try to access the Zelle portal.

They updated the look of the app and it was way better before. Now it’s less user friendly
Check deposits still challenging
I enjoy the fact that I can deposit my checks from my home office. However, it can be a real pain in the buns at times. When I take a pic of the front of the check, NO problem. But when it asks me to take a pic of the back I almost always get an error. Stating that the pics are not the same size. Not sure how that is possible bc I am still sitting in the same position taking a pic with the same background, etc. Super frustrating when I have to take 3 pics of the back to make it work. Or worse yet, needing to wait for the check to be checked out by someone else before it is credited to my account. This was never a problem when AFCU had a separate business app. Can somebody please fix this?? My small business can’t run like this.

New bill pay UI is horrible. It use to be so easy to navigate and know it feels like I am constantly having to expand and contract to find the payers I use every month! The two star loss is directly attributed to the bill pay UI.

TERRIBLE
This app always takes a while to load and they're always updating it. The main issue I have now is the search engine. I need to know when I spent money at a certain business, there's no way to look it up. this stupid banking app only has what date and the min/max transaction amount as search filters. How am I supposed to remember that? unfortunately I have no choice as it's the only banking app available for this CU.
New Update Doesn’t Cut It
I like the changes, however most important update was not made to that rolling calendar. It’s useless when you have to leave the app to open a real calendar with the date and day of the week.

Yes 2006, & it’s not a typo. Honestly there’s only good things to say about this banking institute! Highly recommended!
Worst Credit Union
Their lending policies are the worst in the industry. I recommend Mountain America Credit Union for Arizonans. Everytime AZFCU said “no..” to me, MACU said yes with a smile and fantastic customer service.
Fix Zelle
The app works fine for basic banking, but the Zelle feature is broken. Every time I try to use it, the app just force closes. This is frustrating because Zelle is important for a lot of people’s everyday transactions. Please fix this issue — it’s a key feature and should work reliably.

Font and bill pay suck
The new font is hard to read and ugly. The bill pay section is impossibly difficult now vs what it used to be. I am not against change but this is change for the worse.
It won’t let me open the app?
I’m having a strange bug now, it won’t let me open the app or access it at all. I’ve reset my phone twice, uninstalled and reinstalled it, and yet it still does not work. I’ve been using it for a while now and it’s great besides having to constantly type my password in each time I want to see my account, but now I’m not able to see it at all! Please help!

My parents helped me open an account with AZ Federal 20 years ago! I just look my son to open his first account as well. They are an amazing credit union. They have great customer service, help with banking issues, keep track of fraud and IN FACILITY bank card copies. Most banks will have cards mailed but AZFed prints out a new card same day.
New Update Not User Friendly
I’ve been using this app for years and previously loved it. It was very easy to see all of your bills, and when they were paid and how much you paid, but with this update, it requires multiple clicks to get to the payment history. This newest formatting for Bill Pay is a giant step backward. I hope they fix this soon.

Bad changes
Now it no longer auto logs in when you setup FaceID. Before you opened the app and it logged in if you had it setup. Now you have to tap Login. The worse part is when viewing your transactions and you swipe up to access another app, respond to a text, open your very extensive Sheet to track your budget. Then when you go back in to this app, it flys all the way back to the top. So you are conatantly fighting with the scrolling.

I have been a member since 2001. Best customer service bar none!!!

I used to be able to view several transactions at once and now I have to keep scrolling to view. Not ergonomic.
Stop
Every time I sign onto my account I get asked to rate I have like 10 times stop it.
Useless Extras
Why do I have to go an extra step to see the quick balance screen? And why can’t I remove the extra accounts that I will never use. I can remove other accounts from my view, but now you’re just wasting time and space.
