Reliable and convenient
In Berlin, i use this taxi service as my preferred method for Prepaid/prearranged pickup. Drivers are courteous and professional and they arrive on time or early. I like to schedule my trips in advance via the app. Having a credit card on file works seamlessly. All around, in my experience it’s a great service.
App for Europe? Can’t use with an Irish phone number
Tried signing up for this in Germany. To finish authorization you are texted a code. However it won’t text to an Irish phone number.. Ireland is part of the EU so taxi.eu is a misnomer…

Works quicker than calling
Works fine in Berlin, much quicker than calling the service center for taxis. It's also great to be able to rate the driver. It was a bit difficult to find on the interface how to rate at a later time.
need an account
when you open the app it looks like you don’t need an account but when you try to book a taxi you first need to create an account with phone number and email address. not to recommend if you are travelling and don’t have a phone number or need to get a taxi quickly

Don’t bother if you’re a tourist
The app is unable to send verification sms messages to foreign phone numbers, so tourists can’t register and use the app ( unlike many other taxi apps around the world). Major design flaw.

Leider kann man nicht einstellen, dass man ein Taxi mit einem hohen Einstieg aber keinen Bus benötigt.

Bad coding
Can not even pass the registration step since the app requires the length of last name to be at least 3 characters. My last name only has 2 characters. Clearly not design with international users in mind.
Prima, aber Startposition wird unbeabsichtigt verändert
Eine prima App, allerdings gibt es bei der Angabe der Startposition ein Problem. Wenn ich zuhause die App starte, wird meine registrierte Adresse vorgeschlagen und angezeigt. Ich wohne in einem Gartenhaus, so dass die Wohnung näher an der Parallelstraße liegt. Wenn ich das Ziel angeben habe und den Auftrag erteile, stelle ich in der Bestätigung fest, dass die App den Startpunkt in die Parallelstraße verlegt hat. Auch wenn ich den Fahrer sofort informiere, kommt er schon verärgert an. Bitte die Auftragsprozedur so ändern, dass dies nicht passieren kann!
USEABLE, But FRUSTRATING!
This taxi app is OK if you want to use cash payments. But, if you want to pay with PayPal or your credit card FORGET IT! No matter how many times I have tried to enter my credit card information and my PayPal information and request that it be used to pay for a cab ride, it just will not do it. My credit card is accepted, my PayPal account is approved, the app will not allow me to use either method of payment.
Festpreis-Scam
Verstehe, dass Uber euch das Leben schwer macht, nur eure Festpreise lohnen sich oft nicht. Strecke von A nach B 12,50€, Strecke B nach A zurück 13,70€. Am nächsten Tag kostet die selbe Strecke von A nach B plötzlich 13,XX€. Ein Taxifahrer hat, trotz Festpreis, das Taxameter eingeschaltet. Am Ende stand da weniger Geld dran als der Festpreis. Ich kann verstehen, wenn Uber euch verschlingt. So wird das nix
Fast easy taxi in Ghent
App fully integrated and debugged. Shows location of approaching cab and estimated time of arrival. Wish all apps were this good.
Useless
Imposible to use for users with mobile numbers outside its limited list. I will use Uber instead.
Schnelle Fahrt, Barzahlung seit September nicht mehr
Ich bin mit dem Taxi.eu zufrieden, schnelle Fahrt ohne lange Wartezeit. Leider hat Barzahlung nicht mehr möglich, mehr jetzt mit Kreditkarten bargeldlos zahlen muss, geht mir es leider nicht, ich muss immer Barzahlung zahlen, bekomme eine Quittung. Ich habe App aufgegeben.
Needs more work.
Once chosen the credit card you would expect that you do t need anything else. But you have to do more manual work rather than payment in cash.
App needs work, drivers are alright
I really want this app to work. It charges drivers the closest to a fair commission. The app makes it hard though. Previous problems with payments on the app caused me to give up on taxi.eu. It has been some time, so I tried again, thinking maybe those problems had been fixed. They were, but the app needs a lot of work. 1. Locations. On multiple occasions, the app places me somewhere where I am not. Or it looks right on my map, but a driver told me they thought I was elsewhere. Or a driver only got a street name, but no number, or a driver was sent to the courtyard behind my building instead of the street in front of it. I get alerts that my taxi has arrived when it is still around the corner or somewhere else I can’t see. 2. Payment. Paying in advance takes four more clicks than any other app. one should only need to confirm once, not twice. The wait time for each step is longer than the other apps too. 3. Payment. I can pay in advance if I want a fixed rate. If I want to pay by distance/time, it isn’t automatic a la FreeNow. It requires that o sit in the taxi while the driver works out how to get a code, send a request, I type it in and approve etc. This is extra annoying when the app needs three times as long with this app as with others to process each steps 3. Wait times. When I request a taxi, it takes noticeably longer for a driver to accept my request than it does with FreeNow, even in areas with many taxis. I assume this is at least partially due to slow processing at every step - receive and process my request, share it with drivers, receive notification of acceptance, notifying me. 4. Too many notifications. Don’t send me three requests to rate a ride. Don’t send me any requests to rate a ride before the ride is even over. As long as I’m not in a hurry, I keep trying, because I want to support the drivers. That is the only reason I keep trying. As an app experience it is too annoying to use when compared to the competition.

Taxi in Paris
A little trouble with cancellation of our first ride, but after that it was okay.
App not very reliable
3 of the last 4 taxis ordered in Karlsruhe with the app showed the taxi approaching, at the pickup address and then on the way to my destination without the taxi being at my location. When I call dispatch the taxi that they send ends up being the original taxi I saw “approaching”. I can see the taxi number in the app so I know it’s the same taxi. I’m not enjoying having to call dispatch to repeat an order. I only started having this problem late January- recent app update?

Fast and easy
I am very very satisfied with the app, everything works out as it should, it's a matter of minutes between deciding to leave your house and getting into the car. Would recommend it to anyone!
Horrendous
Honestly I wish I could rate it lower. When making an account I put my card in but when I tried to verify number it never texted me. I tried multiple times and now it showed that I can now longer use my number. Terrible app.
Great app
Great app, only one minus: you can't selvet the nummer of bikes you wish to bring.. many taxi drivers complain that the app registers two bikes, when I only have one
Leave plenty of time!
The app is great and I’m not sure why but the taxing driver was a kilometer away from our house waiting and there was no way to call her. We had just called another taxi when she showed up 20 minutes late! The idea of the app is good but I wouldn’t trust again to get to the airport on time. On the plus side, one she showed up, our driver was very nice and the taxi was spotless.

US customer trying to set up app to use while in Spain. Confirmation code is not received.

Well I had some reservations but it turns out that this app and service is really working well - used it in various places in Europe (Switzerland, Germany, Austria) and it delivered perfectly!

It was good until it stopped working
I moved to Germany not a long time ago, and I was happy that I found an app, where I can book taxi online. It’s a bit expensive, but still affordable. I was using this app for like 6-7 times to book taxi, but unfortunately it stopped working. Every time, when I want to book taxi it’s says system error. I deleted the app and reinstalled it, I made new account, but still the same issue. I would be happy if you would fix this error, so I could use it in the future too.
Great app - worked the first time!
Just installed the app this morning and it worked perfectly the first time! Setup was a breeze and I booked my first taxi in Berlin and set up some preferred destinations for later bookings. The app had the taxi arrival time correct to the second!
Broken app
Broken app - cannot register. During registration it immediately displays “No more text messages can be sent to xxxxxxx”. So it cannot verify my phone. No text messages were sent
Taxi APP Met My Needs
I used the app in Zurich for the first time and was mostly happy with the results. I was more independent from hotels and locals to get me a taxi with my lack of good language skills for everyone. I found the app almost used the competitor I use in the USA but decided to try this. It was easy to install, somewhat east to get the addresses recognized and the driver arrived in the time frame committed. I went from the hotel with a hotel derived taxi and it was cheaper for the same route over this taxi called in this app. I am not sure if he was as direct. The other taxi double charged me and this one through the app didn't. So overall I am pleased and will compare taxis a few times with this app to decide.
Payments not supported
This app is clunky and inelegant. Made me stop taking local taxis and switch over to uber
Don’t trust price estimate but reliable
I got to where I needed to go, but it cost 3x what it said on the app. Also don’t move the map around or it will redirect the driver

Er i Berlin, på ferie. Og skulle bruge en taxa. 1 minut til download, 1 minut til at bestille, 3 minutter til taxaen var på min adresse. Fedt ikke at skulle ringe og bestille på gebrokkent tysk.
Just works! Quite buggy and feature incomplete
Payment options only works in Berlin it seems. Lots of error messages and takes me often out of the screen I was in previously
Not as complete as some competitors
First time using this app. Setting up my account and connecting to a driver were remarkably easy. Hard to identify which taxi was mine without a cab # or vehicle license #. Driver also told me I could not use the app to pay - I had to use my credit card on site. Not sure the advantage over just finding a cab on the street...

Verification SMS does not arrive
I have an American telephone number. To verify a telephone number the app uses SMS/text messages. I tried countless times to verify my number—both in the US and in Europe— but I never received the registration SMS. There is no other way to register. Developers: Please fix your app!!
It works
So far I find no qualms with the quality of the drivers that picked me up. However, it is concerning when the app crashes while trying to make a reservation or randomly cancels an active one. I am sure this will be fixed and I will continue to use this app religiously.
Do not translate street names - confusion!
The app worked very well until it started automatically translating words 'gasse' into alley. This has caused confusion for taxi firms, resulting in delayed taxis. Please fix this, as right now I have to use alternatives.
Good but bad routes
Tried to book a taxi in copenhagen and this is the only app which gives you an estimate first. Unfortunately it gave a crazy route for a journey costing over 400kr - Way more tjan an actual taxi would cost.
