Promise fulfilled
Syncs to apple health as promised, very happy.
Unusable
The app start up routine is flawed. It left me with the watch’s firmware corrupted. Avoid Fitbit Charge 6 with this app
Fitbit
Bad UX/UI
I thought google can develop a mobile App, but the experience is relay bad, saving data manuel is a trip to smash the screen an hope there is an area to hit. Please back develop it to fit bit again
Useless
I lost Fire years of data after I upgraded my phone, settings are difficult to find and manage, previous Fitbit app features have gone, and the new Layout is flashy and lazy. Following a response from the development team, I have recovered my historic data, thanks.
My Go To
Guides me how to take care of myself.
Disappointing
Bought a fitbit after having one a few years back, the app is just underwhelming and not user friendly. Also keeps promoting for purchases after spending 150 on the watch ( versa 4) i am disappointed i did not do more research and bought this. Fitbits have gone down massively since i last used the watch/ connected it to my phone. I would not recommend this to a friend.
Good
I mean the whole app is great but it doesn’t wanna connect my versa 2 like it’s hard to find them and also I can’t connnect to the goddam internet but my internet is good
Can’t set alarm on my new Fitbit air
Can’t set alarm on my new Fitbit air
Cardio Training
Feedback
I’m really enjoying the advice and feedback from the AI coach. It has proven to be very effective for my weight loss goals
Very unsatisfactory
Complicated and works poorly in terms of fit bit apps on sense 2.
Falsche Daten
Man muss immer wieder aufs Handy schauen.
Tracking
Ever since the change over, all my activities are the wrong distance. Really frustrating when you are trying to improve times in runs and they don’t match.
Neue Darstellung
Improved lately
.
Terrible app and Fitbit
The update from Fitbit to google health deleted all my previous data, I cannot log food anymore. The app itself is much more difficult to use. Too much unnecessary information
Katastrophale distanzmessung beim schwimmen
God Awful App
I enjoyed the analytics with Fitbit but since Google Health took over its performance is so poor. Many times the data doesn’t sync or is incomplete and inaccurate. I have chunks of days missing and the weekly reports are no longer of use. I invested in Fitbit but will be forced to find an alternative that works all thanks to Googles interference breaking something that used to work well.
Frequent errors
The app frequently tracks phantom periods of sleep. I was considering subscribing to it beyond the free trial but the errors and subsequent incorrect feedback from the AI coach have put me right off.
Food logging impossible
Since the app fully switched to google health food logging is nearly impossible. No longer have the option of inputting how many grams you’ve eaten with most foods and I’ve noticed some days the same serving as the day previous will show a different caloric count. So disappointed, the app was perfect when just Fitbit.
It’s not too bad ….but
The app itself is generally okay and shows a lot of information. However a few tweaks could make it much better. For example, a shortcut to record a workout, rather than going into the app, picking a page, scrolling etc etc. and how about making the saved workouts ‘downloadable’? That way they can be used in areas of poor coverage.
Downhill ever since Google
So disappointed with this app ever since Google took over. In particular, nutrition and food logging used to be so intuitive and effective, now it’s impossible to the point where I’m moving to a different app.
AI atrocious
The Fitbit air is a decent service, but the ancient and buggy AI in this app makes it worthless. Really half baked app that had so much potential. I’ll update this review if it ever improves. At present, Apple Health, Garmin and Zepp are miles ahead.
Beaucoup mieux
Awful user experience. Miss old fitbit app
As a UXUI engineer, I struggle to believe any user testing was done on this app with Fitbit users. It’s impossible to find anything. The food logging is a horrendous experience. Every-time I log something it brings me back out to the home page making it such a long process to log a meal. And on top of that a notification “food logged view” pops up every single time INFRONT of the save button. Had to download my fitness pal instead so I don’t go insane from frustration. The entire home page is unintuitive. There was nothing wrong with the fit bit app, everything was so easy to find and log. I loved being able to see my steps, calories and zone minutes at the top of the page. Using this app is a dreadful experience and I am considering getting a different smart watch just to get away from it. Hate when UI engineers don’t actually research what users want or need, don’t user test and expect everyone to just adjust to their AI generated app.
New layout
The new layout is awful and much less user friendly
Buggy
All I am getting is a blank screen.
Blank screen and all my data gone. If I’d known Google had taken over Fitbit I’d never have bought another one. My next device will be Apple
Poor UI redesign
Redesign has made using the app tedious, in the old app everything you needed to see was a click away, now you have to scroll left or right on a tiny widget to find the metric and then click into it and then click again depending on what you need. I’ve moved a lot of my uses (run tacking / calorie counting) to other apps such as Strava and chronometer.
Why Fitbit, why?
I’ve been a Fitbit user for the last 4 years, it’s helped me transform my life and my fitness. A truly great device, until recently. One of my favorite parts of this app was the Badges. I just earned my Earth badge, essentially I’ve walked to the centre of the Earth! A huge achievement for me given the fact I’d gad a heart attack 5 years ago. Anyway the badges were a big part of our fitness journey, a motivational tool that pushed me to go the extra mile. So it was to my astonishment that they deleted the badges, every badge I’d earned over 4 years, gone. I know it’s a first world problem but dang it, they helped me and I’m sure many others. Baffling decision
