1) how many times do you need to tap “read more’ to read a small fraction of the story? They must get rewarded by the number of clicks or something, it is awful. 2) They repeatedly ask you if you want to enable notifications, the only other option is ‘not now’ — please add a NEVER button.

Doesn’t Respect iPhone Text Size Settings
★★☆☆☆ Quora has great content, but the iPhone app needs better accessibility support. It doesn’t properly respect the iPhone’s system text size settings, so increasing the font size in iOS has no effect on the app. This makes reading long answers difficult, especially for users who rely on larger text for comfortable reading. Please support Dynamic Type and the iPhone’s accessibility font size settings throughout the app. It would make the reading experience much more comfortable and accessible for everyone.

Slop fest
I can usually only see two answers -- one AI and one human. The AI bot answer is usually bollocks. People go on Quora to ask difficult questions and find people with interesting takes, not get to milquetoast ai slop shoveled on.

To many bot questions
I think Quora offers an amazing opportunity for education, learning, perspectives, dialogue, etc. however, what really really annoys me are the fabricated questions that Quora puts out that are incendiary and stupid. It’s just too many of them. You don’t need them. Let the people talk.

I get too many questions starting with “Can you answer this…..?” How to stop these? I would like to get only questions with request to me to answer.
Stupid people
I think quora is a good idea in principle but unfortunately the vast majority of questioners seem to to be stupid people asking really really dumb questions - “why do the English speak in their own tongue instead of American”? Those sort beggar belief and l think some sort of filter needs to be devised so that only intelligent well-thought out questions get through.

Old posts continue to show up
Someone said this happens because someone leaves a comment so it revitalizes the post. So, you’re telling me that people scroll back a year or two or, they ask a question and, it shows something that was asked a while ago? Quora can set an algorithm to not show any posts older than six years. People then start writing their opinion on something that has long been addressed. 🤯

They ruined the app
I used to go to a tab in the app and be able to see posts of things I followed in a feed. Now there is a tab with only basically memes, and another tab saying that I am "up to date" on every space I am a part of when I haven't even used the app in months. Change it back- it seems to be mostly garbage and mainly for entertainment now.

I joined Quora back in 2016 when the platform was at its peak. Back then, you could ask a niche question and get a thoughtful, multi-paragraph response from a NASA engineer, a history professor, or a veteran CEO. It felt like a community of intellectuals. Fast forward to today, and the "fellowship" is gone. Most of the top-tier writers who made this site worth visiting have left, driven away by a series of questionable policy changes. Between the Partner Program incentivizing low-quality clickbait and the aggressive rollout of AI-generated answers, the human element has been buried. It’s no longer about sharing knowledge; it’s about farming engagement. I miss the old Quora.

What happened to quora
I'm Unsure if the new version of iOS changed the feeds I'm now getting from quora but it reminds me of the National Enquirer or Midnight Express. Was I fortunately previously missing all of the useless garbage that I get now every day or has the focus of information as well as the screen layout provided sadly changed.
