Been using it for years
Always check my beer reviews before I buy. The info is always on point so I’m never disappointed.
Barely operational as of late
I have missed out on earning multiple badges because the app will refuse to work when I need it to.
It takes a while
There is a learning curve. I had a lot of problems with navigating it, as I use it infrequently. I’m better at it now, but it could be better.
An sich gut
Man fährt oder fliegt mehrere Tausend km in der Welt und kann dann den Standort daheim Beim verkosten nicht ändern wo man es gekauft hat. Na herzlichen Glückwunsch dafür.
Blocks VPN
Great app, but blocks devices using VPN
Best microbrewery source of info from people of all walks of life
Consistent and reliable
VPN
Used to be a great app until you blocked VPN users from accessing the app. Sadly, unless fixed, I will have to find an alternative
Need maps
I like this app. I just wish I could show a map of everywhere I have had a beer. Then if I could see it on a timeline. That would be cool
Old timer
Used to be able to track all your stats, now you have to pay, that sucks
Fun app but
Sure would be nice to be able to rate in smaller increments than .25 without paying gobs of money for the privilege. Seems like it would benefit everyone.
Fun Social App
This is just a fun app that me and my friends used to track our drinking habits and what we like and what we don’t like.
Useful, but
Takes an age to load in a low-bandwidth environment. What’s it doing, mining crypto?
Great app. Horrible search engine.
Love this app. Only reason for 4 stars is that the search engine they use to find beers is horrible.
Cheers 🍻
Enjoyable beer drinking app. Creates a welcoming environment for likeminded individuals. Not impressed with all the additional non-beery additions, create a separate App for them and leave the App as it was.
Stick with Beer
Love the App not the Adverts and wokism
Great app for beer
It is very easy to use and I also depend on Untapped to help me find beers that I like.
Lost access
I have been a long time user but have recently been shut out. I have tried reloading and linking but the UK option is greyed out. I am exasperated and have deleted this old friend!
ADs 🙄
It used to be a beer 🍻 lovers app without the BS. Now, too many clicks and not enough value.
No longer a good app
Used to be an good app. Now you need to pay to review products like Coca Cola and have very limited functions if you use the advertised version
Great app with many beers now not working!
This is an app I have used for years and it has all the beer through crowd sourcing. However for the last few weeks it no longer loads. I have complained but the Untappd AI bot was unable to solve this. iOS 26.5.2 when loading always comes up with the message “It’s not you it’s us. Sit back … while we fix our connection errors” The website works thankfully but is not as good as the app.
Get your family and friends on it!
I love keeping up with my out of town friends
No VPN allowed
For some reason Untappd appear to have decided to block users from starting the app if they are running a VPN, which now makes this app useless for me. A real shame as otherwise it is a great resource.
Beer log
The best app to track and log your beer. And to see what is worth trying
Why other beverages than beer???
Why is it not anymore a beer related app, but all drinks???
Glitch
Drinks search. Do like the Untappd app, but it’s quite common for the search engine not to recognise a drink name. Have to hunt for it via the brewer… only to find it’s one of their most “clicked” brews. Very odd. 🤷♂️
As if beer wasn’t fun enough
As If Beer Needed Help 🤣🍻 As if beer wasn’t already enough… THANKS, UNTAPPD! 🫡🤣🤘🏼🫶🏼🍻🍻🍻 Now I can’t just drink a beer like a normal person. NOPE. I have to check it in, rate it, review it, take a picture, earn a badge, compare it to beers I had 6 months ago, and somehow feel like I accomplished something. 😂 “Hey, what are you doing tonight?” “Oh, nothing. Just drinking a beer.” UNTAPPD: Are you sure you don’t want to turn that into a side quest? 🤣 At this point, I’m not drinking beer. I’m researching beer. 🍻🧐 5 stars for the app. 0 stars for my productivity. 😂🫡🍻 It’s not drinking alone if the dogs home right?..🤣🤣🤣🍻🍻🍻😎😎😎🤯🔫
Used to be great. Not anymore.
You can’t be all things to all men. In trying to broaden your market you’re alienating the very people who got you to this point. Seriously have a rethink. Launch a separate app for people to check out sodas if you wish but you’re pushing people away.
Cool
It has all the beers. One nit is there is no check in option on entry page.
Great when on WiFi, terrible when not
This is undeniably my favourite beer tracking app and is great for logging all the beers I’ve had in so many places. I just wish that it actually worked when you were using mobile data, as it only seems to work on WiFi since the last update! Sort that out and it’ll immediately double in rating!
Canadian Market Expansion
Please expand the market to include Canada. Canada is known for beer and beer drinkers. Great app, but un-useable in Canada.
An honest review
As an alcoholic having somewhere where I can have all the ratings of all the beers I’ve tried has been a life saver. Long day at work? 2 cases of orange is the new ale. After the two cases I can go back to the store and no matter how I feel I can look up to see what other beers I enjoy.
Water?
Decent app but I’m very disappointed at the fact they’re now allowing soft drinks and even brands of water on there. Very much waters down the core appeal of the app.
Nice app to track all my favorite beers
Nice I have to track all my favorite beers but wish some of the historical analytical features remained free
BSN
To much ads
No more sharing beers with mates
Unfortunately the ability to share beers with friends through the app has been removed? Instead I have to share links via Whatsapp which isn’t as easy to do.
Capture the moment
I enjoy capturing the moment of that beer. I tell my friends all the time, “There are life stories being told on UnTappd”. 😁
No longer a beer app - latest updates have ruined Untappd
Untappd in what I can only assume is some sort of cash grab have tried to turn this into a universal drinks app diluting a passionate beer community that helped them built the app. Great app if you want to check a Pepsi in at a venue that isn’t a bar
Good app with some annoying features
Generally easy to use and very comprehensive but cards/awards can be annoying and are definitely unnecessary.
Where is the photo editor?!?
What happened to our photo editing options (filter and colour changes)? This sucks. The beers aren’t properly lighted anymore… do you think we have time to open another app for that!? How are we going to find time to enjoy the beers?
Average.
It’d be hard to come up with something worse totally disconnected from the intended users. Seems to be focussed on margin & not helping small businesses, unless they pay fees. USA app - keep it. Stick with CAMRA, Cask Marque if you’re in the UK.
Best way to track Beers
The title says it all!
Cancel subscription
Have been a subscriber for many years. Cancelled today due to update adding soft drinks.
Great app
Lots of info about beers here.
Touristic
The touristic places we try to avoid having to go to is all there. But the very best places, in every city, is simply missing.
West Coast IPA
Of all the very many beers styles that are listed and the very many IPAs, why is there no West Coast IPA style listed? I submitted the request at least once already years ago, but it was never included 🥺
Love the map
I love this app mainly for the map feature which allows me to find breweries where ever I am or where I am going.
Used to love this app
Historically has been a great app, tracking all the beers I have had around the globe over the 7 years. However this latest update, adding in non-alcoholic drinks like sparking water and cocktails is ridiculous and defeats the whole point of Untappd and why I have been using it. I would no longer recommend it for those interesting in beer.
Location location
Nice app. Handy to see what others are drinking and their scores and reviews. Can’t always check in and find every pub. Might be me..
Improve yourself!
Be more like vivino. Scan, overall rating, price and where to buy.
App unstable
Having used this app often on my iPhone12, it was always pretty good. Since changing to an iPhone 16, I get an error (“Error: something has gone wrong”) every time I try to log in (even though username and password are correct).
