Fix your damn app
It does not work. You pay for something, you want to subscribe to good local journalism, and then it tells you that you havent paid for anything yet. Fix it. People want to support local journalism and they want what you got FIX THE APP. From A guy thats been ticked with you for YEARS now
Good app for reading news
Gets the job done well. The Home/Latest button is a bit mysterious. I had previously reported a scrolling problem that rendered the app almost unusable. It took a while, I think it was actually an iPadOS 26 issue, but it was resolved. Communication with the developers and support was good. Thanks to them.
Annoying banners
Recently they added ‘breaking news’ banners. They are very annoying, appear to stack as multiple articles are assigned that status, and it looks like you can’t deactivate this ‘feature.’ Try again, or at least let us deactivate it.
Where are the crosswords
I would like to see the daily crosswords available to play on the app.

Jan 18/26. Still - Old news not updated
Same old, same old. No change in editorial shown. I just updated the app and the old editorial from August 14, is still shown as the most recent editorial today, September 15. Why is this app so messed up on posting the recent editorials? I pay for my subscription and I’d appreciate knowing what’s being published as an editorial in these uncertain times of upheaval.

Come on KW Record! Shame on you for letting this broken app go unaddressed for so long. Don't you know what users have been complaining about for over a month? This app is a POS and you should get a new app developer who can provide you with a reliable iOS app. This is terrible for the brand!
Little content
I find there is very little information provided for each article.
Crashing all the time
I should just use CTV, the record pretty much just reports in CTV stuff, and now with the app crashing all the time, it's just taking up space on my phone.
Horrible subscriber experience
Despite being logged in, when I click on an article it won’t load fully and says only for subscribers. Worse yet it doesn’t even give an option to login on the article page, only an option to contact us. Trying to support local journalism but they aren’t making it easy.
Not much contents available and not up to date

How do I get the view the actual newspaper??? This app does not give me everything my in each daily newspaper, even as a signed in paid subscription. Useless.
Horrible app
Totally terrible. I changed from the record app on my newspaper subscription which I had used since COVID started and it easy and functionality was great on my iPhone. Since it needed renewed, I am now forced to use this app that is terrible and full of old news, no obituaries when all I want to do is see the actual record paper and press on any article in the paper. I can’t get the newspaper view to enlarge to even see it properly on iPhone.
