Charging me when I pay for a subscription??
I already pay for a globe subscription and I’m so fed up with these constant additional charges every time I want to read the paper.
Great as long as I am home
A nice “green” way to read the Globe and Mail each day without ending up with a recycling bin full of newsprint. My only issue with it is that when I travel, which is a key reason to subscribe to this service, for some inexplicable reason I am unable to get the latest day’s paper to download. I tried calling tech support with the Globe but they were not helpful (do-we loading on Apple devices) - YMMV.
Unstable
Offline reading is a hit and miss, half of the time I can’t access my library while offline. When I travel to a different country, it never works on the first day, only after a day or two the paper starts to show up
Format failure
I find the Globe2go has many format failures.
Paper won’t open
Sone the update, I am not able to open the paper

I am unable to access Globe2Go even though my subscription includes it. Quit frustrating!
Great app, but not always reliable
I travel a lot internationally and appreciate being able to read the Globe wherever I am. It sometimes has glitches though, and won't download completely despite good internet availability. Sometimes I have to log off and then log on again. When I asked the tech help why that keeps happening all he said was “sorry”.

Doesn’t work if you create an account with parter
I’ve used this app in the past on my tablet and now have a new account which I (foolishly) used my AppleID to create. But then there doesn’t seem to be a way to login to the app. When it does work, I like that it looks like the printed on newsprint paper.
It’s ok, but……..
Until recently, I read the Globe on Press Reader. When we renewed our subscription we had to switch to the Globe2Go app. The pink headlines are very annoying. I’d love to either get rid of them or switch back to Press Reader.
Too much advertising, and too much whining about trivial non-events

Interface leaves a lot to be desired. The biggest issue I have is I can’t delete specific issues and keep others. I can only delete after a set timeframe. There are issues I’d like to keep for future reference but now that means I have to keep them all which creates a mess on my iPad

Globe to Go App
This app has had problems that reoccur, for example I can’t even download the app for some reason. I’ve got problems downloading the paper and it’s very frustrating. Actually a poorly designed app.

reading the Globe daily
I started to read the Globe daily because I felt just reading the NP put me in a position of being too one-sided. So far I think this has helped me greatly.
Glitchy
This app is a good idea and considering it launched more than a decade ago, at the time, quite progressive. The problem is that the app is glitchy and often needs to be deleted and reloaded. I suspect the developers have done next to no work to keep it updated or improve it in anyway. So today it is as frustrating as it is useful.
Great example of how to go from print to iPad
This app is great - and a must have for road warriors or expats that want the globe. I think many people rating/reviewing are confused with the registration and activation. Globe people - you need to fix this, it is confusing because once you register you are taken to a generic news listing page in a browser (not the app) and it isn't immediately clear what you are to do when the app is first launched. Also - the subscription pricing is too high if you want wide adoption upfront. Should be lower for new readers and free for existing subscribers (just my opinion). Lastly - why only 7 days back for back issues? Storage is cheap and the issues are relatively small in size, why not provide a month or more? All this said - great execution by the Globe...many other print media companies have provided junk in their first attempts.

Sent an email that will take 2-3 business days. Come on guys! I have seen the trial. I now can't get off a trial and its shut off. When i sign in, there is no way to pay. I canted them and you needed to do it through the web site. Kinda silly. Also I hope they add interactivity for crosswords et all. Like USA today

….. for the most part the app fails to work ! Horrendous that past couple of days…I have given up trying to use it. For several reasons. I migrated over to the other Globe app. That works fine. This app needs attention. G2G App just doesn’t work ! I will not try to go back. If you create G2G app, you should be maintaining it and work out the bugs before putting it out there.
