App works after deleting older version and reinstalling the newest version. Thank you 🙏🏻
Thank you for your prompt response as I followed your instructions and now app works. 😅
Still Slow As Molassea
App is very slow when closing articles. The ads are annoying when they keep popping up. Articles get cut off constantly and you have to guess the rest of the words. Same app as the CTV News one and same issues.
great, but needs picture in picture support
I want to have it on in the background while i scroll through other apps
Revenue is the focus here
App itself is fine, but the lengthy commercials to watch video and numerous times you will accidentally click on an Amazon ad while scrolling highlights their focus is ad revenue
Good but needs some repair
My last two reviews got me nowhere and I can’t even see them here. It would be a good app if they fix the same old issue I keep complaining about. Where ever there is an embedded picture advertisement it completely cuts off the train of thought of the previous sentence. You will find that often you are reading along but the ad cuts off the end of the sentence and you are left wondering what the final, sometimes important part of the paragraph, actually is? And no, it does not continue after the ad. It just starts the next paragraph. Twice before I have complained about this over a multi year period to no response. And to add insult to injury they now have real pop up video ads destroying our enjoyment of the app. Honestly I would rather pay a few dollars for ad free use. This could be so much better. Thanks for never listening, app developers.
Cp24 news
Love getting the news on my phone for free , great when I’m out and about a
TERRIBLE WASTE OF TIME
YOU DIDNT EVEN PUT MY REVIEW UP. WHY ? FREAKING EMBARRASSED BY YOUR OWN CREATION??? I REPEAT, 4 FREAKING ADS BEFORE I GET TO STORY! WAIT WAIT WAIT…. 4 FREAKING COMMERCIALS JUST TO SEE A 30 second video clip. OUTRAGEOUS! I OWE YOU NOTHING!
Traffic
The traffic section was really helpful, I hope it will be coming back. Thank you.
App not working
I use to love the app. But all of a sudden it’s not working. It keeps telling me to check my internet but my internet is working great. Guess I will have to find something else.
Ads
The most recent update makes it virtually impossible to read an article without opening the embedded ad due to delays in scrolling.
Toronto
My favourite tv station!
Brutal app
This app is unbelievable. It’s ad laden and every time you try and scroll, a new page advertising companies pops up and opens a new browser page (mostly Amazon).
2026 app is too slow unresponsive
The app has become very slow with the recent change this year. When I click the close x-button, on foreground window , but no response, so click again, same thing, so click and click again. Eventually, I am taken to a screen where I didn’t want to go, as if I had clicked the background screen. It gets frustrating! It’s all because the slow response time of the app. Also, don’t click videos to see a minute of ads, ridiculous !
Feedback
Doesn’t tell us the truth like social media. Look I’m one who dislikes social. But when it comes to the important things we all should know it’s here for us unlike city news. Hides the most important

Ads in Articles Forced
The ads in the news articles are so large that every time you scroll down it opens them. I previously deleted this app because it was pushing so many ads and now I returned to and it’s a new issue. I want to be able to scroll and article without Amazon opening three times
Doesn’t work well on an IPad
App lags and locks up.Doesnt scroll at times.Have to exit out and restart app do to freezing.
Too much lag
I find that the upload time for articles is too slow and I don’t get this with other news apps. Also articles are sticky meaning that they stay open after I hit the close button repeatedly.
Great news stories
CP24 has very descriptive news and is updated frequently.
Garbage, goodbye
I used to use this app several times a day. I found it informative. Now between the popup ads and excessively delayed responsiveness of the app itself I cant use it without screaming colorful expletives due to my unnecessary frustration. I don’t need an app to stress me out. And now it’s deleted.
Slow and annoying
I don’t know if it’s by design or it’s a glitch. The pages open slowly like a power point presentation. The slide up and down to close is the same. I have the app to read the news, the less I notice the way the app functions the better. The previous version of the app was better.
To Liberal
I really like the App & CP24 . Only thing is it is way to Liberal point of view for me & they are way to Left sided media !
Best news app
#1 for Toronto news apps . Can’t beat it .
Liberal propaganda
Garbage
Glitching since update
Ever since the update was made to the app, it is VERY glitchy. Slow to load, fails to load, swiping doesn’t work, crashes often. Go back to the old app functionality. You made it needlessly complicated.
Total black out of Cambridge
I along with so many other people in the city have been feeling that CP24 is never covering our city Cambridge. There must be a lot happening in and around in the communities like Cambridge or Woodstock, traffic could be bad on 401 or other streets in the area, but they are perhaps waiting for a disaster to happen before covering this area in news. News these days is getting more and more Toronto centric. Everyone is watching CP24 searching and trying to relate to the information. Please consider the importance of participating of other communities in area.
Perfect in every way every day :)

App Not Opening
The app has not opened since Saturday morning. It gives me an error message that says “impossible to initializing the application”, which isn’t even grammatically correct. If it’s not fixed by tomorrow I’m removing the app.
Too glitchy
Very glitchy app. Videos often won't play. Ads cause long delays in loading the actual news content. Better to just go to the web site.
App not working
Tried to open the app this morning and couldn’t. I have a IPhone 13, IOS 26 3.1.
Impossible to initializing???
Failure to launch. Message says “impossible to initializing” lol. Seriously, who works here??
Cardi B in Top Stories
Just deleted your app because Cardi B not selling out in Hamilton was in my “Top Stories”. Wow! Unbelievable! You should give yourselves a raise! So many national and global events affecting Canadians and Carbi B is in your Top Stories. Well done!
