I also use Scotia iTrades and RBC Direct Investing apps. CIBC is far ahead in function and especially intuitive ease of use.

App. removed all our filtering tools. Please reinstall Bollinger band moving averages, etc.

iPad App: Cannot Trade
CIBC, you need to fix your iPad App ASAP! Since your update, the app does not scale according to screen once you login. So I can’t even do a trade on the site. This is absolutely horrible service. It has been weeks (months now!!!). I have deleted and re-installed the app now twice (now 4x) and it still does not adjust to fit screen. Worst customer service as well, constant delays and hold on phone. FIX THIS PROBLEM…WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM?
Dividend Income?
Lots of good functionality on daily activity- just wish my display settings were saved when I navigate in and out of a particular store la activity. Also very slow recycle rate on price changes . I can find no way to track my projected income from dividends. That is not good. Stock descriptions don't show anything regarding dividend income paid on the stocks either. TD app is much better in my opinion.

Decent app but does not meet current industry minimums. Values don’t update quick enough and navigating the App is difficult. Take a look at ScotiaWealths app. They listened to their advisors and clients and created the perfect platform

Not much investment research data but so long as CNBC is up I’m okay. Its good when it’s working.

It takes some time to learn the interface and how to navigate. I think the layout could be made better so as to more easily understand trades, break evens and my holding positions. The best thing to do would be to enable biometrics for sign in - it would make signing in and trading a lot quicker on the app.

Very basic features, not for traders
This app lacks many features for professional traders like: (1) auto-display real times shares prices: I have to press the refresh button to get continuously the current shares price. (2) the selling of shares at the market price is slow (up to 4 minutes before it’s done), and there is no app notification of realized trades. I have to read the emails send time me to realize that my trade order has been done.

The info provided is limited especially when trying to look up book value per share to market. BMO does much better job.

Worst App
CIBC needs to update so much in this fast developing tech world, the app is so bad and so many clicks needed for placing one options trade. So many small banks are putting better app, such big bank not investing in their app looks strange. Actually I am slowly moving out with because of their high trading fees and so bad functionality.
