Great app in the TD ecosystem
I think the re fresh was needed but it’s got a long way to go. Dripped dividends take too long to receive. I wish the app was more polished like weathsimple. Glad to see TD have fractional trading and 100 free transactions. Real reason I haven’t transfer my portfolio to ws completely is it’s nice for credit and loans to have a portfolio with a big 6.
Transferring funds is incredibly difficult
I’ve been trying to transfer funds to my easy trade account for MONTHS now. Trying to move funds from another RRSP to easy trade. And it just doesn’t happen. I’ve spent hours talking to reps and they’re all useless and lack accountability. They’ll simply say I don’t know what the other person said. Like why aren’t you guys keeping notes on a file of your clientele? It’s terrible customer service. In the end nothing happens even when I sign paper work. The reps at the bank can’t help with easy trade. So it’s a revolving door of uselessness. I’m going to move my funds somewhere else now.

Auto populate
Reveal /auto populate the amount of stocks holding when selling
Doesn’t do immediate trades
When using the LIMIT option for buying a stock, it often doesn’t go thru when the stock goes below the limit amount - even after it’s been lower for a long amount of time. Calling the Help number involves very long waits.
Easy and professional
This app has everything you need to invest However you feel best for you. And it’s easy to move around and the information is super accessible, highly recommended.

Seems incorrect I have only 2 stocks left, one went up .71 And the other went down .77 , I have a double position in the .71, but according to the daily read put I am down over $500.
It become complicated
Stock pice refresh button hidden-inconvenient. When selling quantity/amount of money misleading when acting fast. Very first version was amazingly easy to operate. Last ones-overloaded.
Poor Ergonomics
This app has been redesigned in 2026 and has very poor ergonomics, even flaws and actual errors that don’t get resolved and that do prevent you from being able to place trades well, sometimes at all. Some overviews omit relevant information, copying trades is poorly designed and back-navigation is dysfunctional. Its navigation was tried to be made simplistic but ended up being counter-intuitive and the final steps of configuring a trade has had bugs for months whereby certain trades (especially based on quantities) simply cannot be completed.
Removed free etf trades??
The main reason to get this app was the free ETF trades. Now they’ve removed it and limited to 100 shares of any trade. Also made it so you can’t browse the ETFs like before

Simple flow is great and intuitive!
Recent changes counterintuitive
Boy oh boy, the recent upgrade has made the platform increasingly difficult to read and follow my stocks. Most importantly, you took away the “percentage of portfolio” section that each account had allowing you to understand how portfolio was distributed. This was a dealbreaker for me and now I’m switching over to wealth simple. Why did you complicate a perfectly well running platform?

Cash Account opening issue
I have been attempting to open a cash account for the past two weeks, but the process is still incomplete. Despite providing the required information and contacting support twice, the issue has not been resolved.
Needs to show book value holdings on home page
On the main page, you can only see which stocks you own and their percentage change but not their book value. You have to click into your holdings and then a drop down to see the book value.
3 New Features to Add
I love the animations on TD Easy Trade, the user experience is top-notch, and it’s clear a lot of human-centered thinking went into the design. Great work by the design team. One recent addition I really appreciate is the average price and quantity of stock under Holdings, which shows the total number + the total average price of each holding I’ve bought. It’s made tracking my portfolio so much easier. One thing I’d love to see next: the percentage each holding represents of my overall portfolio. User Story 1: View Percentage Breakdown of Holdings As a user who holds multiple individual stocks, I want to visually see the percentage distribution of each holding in my portfolio, so that I can easily understand how much each stock is contributing to my overall portfolio. User Story 2: Sort by Percentage As a user who holds multiple individual stocks, I want to sort my holdings by percentage of portfolio, in addition to the existing sort options (gain/loss, symbol, price, quantity), so that I can quickly identify which holdings, like a stock making up 30% of my portfolio, carry the most weight. User Story 3: Custom Dashboard Views As a user, I want to build custom dashboard views within the Holdings tab, so that I don’t have to manually track my holdings in a separate application.

Couple things
We should be able to trade pre and post-market. Not fair we can only eat scraps on so many good plays. Navigating is more complicated than needed. There should be a “holdings” button on the buy/sell page that quickly takes u to the holdings of the selected account.

Cannot place trade orders
I cannot place an order. Please fix. The new visuals look stunning, but I cannot trade with Easy Trade. Please fix the issue.

I enjoy logging in and clearly seeing the state of my investments, it’s much clearer now. Looking forward to more improved visual experiences.
This new update is horrible
Why did you break something that wasn’t broken??? So many clicks to get any basic information out of a stock now. Seriously considering switching banks over this, it is a terrible UI

Repeated errors messages “it’s us not you” and “this should be working but it isn’t” with logging in and with password resetting. Not usable.
