New logo design/green is 🤮
I’m sorry, I love you guys, but this new logo design with both apps is awful. I come from a graphic design background and the moment I saw it, I hated it. Terrible shade of green, it looks like baby puke and the logo feels cheap and gimmicky. Nothing was wrong with the old branding, had a nice professional feel similar to IBKR. This feels cheap like I’m trading on wealthsimple or something. I’d go back to the drawing board or reverse course.
Support chat is buggy
I tried to write a message in the support chat window, but every time I tap the text field to type, the app opens then closes the keyboard, preventing me from doing so.

I signed up for the alpha tests or whatever, they send you a survey with a million in one chance to win a gift card, you answer the survey and it says you are ineligible. Shady
Fantastic App - Widget Support Please!
This is my go to trading app, switched to Questrade and such a detailed and advanced but not I overwhelming platform. Developer, friendly requests to add. 1.) Please add widget support for this app, not just basic Questrade app. 2.) Please expand widgets to have all or specific accounts at a glance, not just watchlists.
App doesn’t work
It will not open an App anymore dew to Authentication fail / last several updates worst updates
Almost great.
All works well however when placing a trade why are not given the chance to enter either an amount or number of shares? Currently, I have to guess how many shares in order to match the amount I want to buy. That takes extra and valuable time.
Ads in notifications are not ok
Ads. In notifications. From my financial institution. The company I give my money to. No. This is not ok. You will be told so at every turn.
Limit price
Can you guys add follow bid and follow ask in the mobile app? This functionality is already available in Edge Web and Edge Desktop, so hopefully it shouldn’t be too complicated to add. And it would be very helpful for us.
Travel Friendly
I use Edge Mobile while travelling in Central America and it works very smoothly. No issues and very easy to use. Thank you!!
No help
You can’t get help. The chat for help doesn’t even work. You have to click several times on the box to be able to write something that is wrong with the desktop app. After several attempts that took several minutes to just being able to write the problem, the only help was to remove the desktop app and reinstall it again and this isn’t the first time. Then for the phone app that makes it miserable to chat for help, the help is to remove the app and reinstall. Thanks for the support!!!
Glitch
Today the when I look at options prices the underlying prices freeze. Something recently changed and it’s garbage
Needs work for obvious use case
This app desperately needs a sort function that consolidates positions across accounts so you have a simple list of Positions ranked by mkt value. The Group Symbols function is not it. I want to see all my AAPL, GOOG, etc. summarized on a single line, regardless which account they’re in. Instead group symbols creates separate pages for each company with line items for each account’s holding of that symbol. Not very useful for overview.

The chat box is not user friendly. If you click on the link it is sent on the chat box, the whole chat disappears. People who are answering your questions are unprofessional. It takes way too long to get an answer for your questions. I guess, after every sentence, the employee goes for a 10 min break.

Biometrics not working on iPhone
So far I like the app but biometric ID won’t work on my iPhone. I’ve setup up Touch ID on my iPad & it works fine, however I’ve setup up Touch Face ID on my iPhone numerous times, it says it’s set up but when I logout & go to log in again I still have to use my password.

Possible to have native iPadOS support? Seems odd not to have any support for iPad given its 2026…….
Way worse than peers
I tried questrade the last 2 weeks, webull is my main platform. It is not even close to webull. Maybe if you pay for data on questrade, it will be closer to webull. But you get everything for free at webull. It has been a brutal demo and I certainly won’t be paying for market data nor switching from webull. Avoid!
Has Some Operational Glitches
The app is generally quite useful but occasional glitches can make a user a bit nervous. From time to time things appear in the Positions summary that are factually incorrect. While the app still adds up correctly the individual equity sometimes appears to differ from the actual market price that particular day. As well the initial purchase price of an equity position can change which makes the transaction look much less successful I have not wasted much time holding but have sent a few emails to support and heard back crickets.

Works well, authentication needs improvement
Does what it says on the tin, and generally works very well - with a lot of functionality. Only annoyance is the number of times I have reauthenticate the app as well as webpages and API connections. Several times a day.
Fonts are small
This app has two major display issues 1. Fonts are small and light making it difficult to read. Whereas apps like Yahoo Finance or Wealthsimple is easily readable 2. When exchanging funds between accounts or converting currency , the main page gets out of focus and the button to close that page gets all the focus Apart from these two issues app works fine as intended.
Like the app but have feature request
The app is pretty good now, especially compared to previous versions. Feature request: I need to see at what price an order will get triggered when I set up trailing stop orders by %. Other issues I face frequently: - it keeps asking for 2FA quite often. I use faceid and connect most of the time over VPN. - Notifications need to show at what price the order executed. I’d rather not log in to the app to figure that out.
Unable to trade
This morning as of writing, no trade can be placed on this app no matter how you try. Update: after trying for about 40 minutes. The App seems to be working again and accepting trades without giving out errors like it did previously. However, the unexpected outage led to missed opportunities.
Font size
Font size is so small it makes the app near useless. I have not found an option to increase it.

I have given Questrade multiple chances because I really do think the UI design isn’t bad. But how do you not have a functioning brokerage on one of the most consequential days in market history? What are we paying all these commissions on contracts for
4% Promo click and bait
The 4% cashback promotion sounds great, but in practice it’s very hard to qualify for. Transfers between Canadian investment platforms take time, cash contributions don’t count, and the settlement rules are very strict. For most people, this feels more like a headline marketing offer than a realistic reward. The app itself is fine, but promotions should be designed for how Canadians actually move money.
SpaceX ipo?
The help bot is useless… I’m probably going to move my accounts away from questrade as it’s frustrating me that I can’t find out how to get retail access to the SpaceX IPO
App keeps getting worse
Whatever they are doing to their app they need to stop. Used to work fine, now with every update it gets jankier. Sort doesn’t work, duplicate ghost listings of stocks that won’t go away, I am actively looking for an alternative because they are losing my trust.
