Visualiser Game Changer
We love to take photos of spaces and to use the Visualiser. Really helpful. Couldn’t find a ready reckoner of how much paint to buy, perhaps I missed that?
Abysmal
This app is abysmal. Walls don’t colour-in fully. It can’t tell the difference between walls and ceiling. The masking tape function is rubbish so you end up colouring the walls and ceiling (and floor) with the same patchy, half done, half not done, colour. It says the room should be well lit but it can’t cope with the bright part of the wall next to a window. On top of that, the the way the Visualiser functions work is chaotic and confusing.
Best of the bunch
This works relatively well on walls but I’d now like to play with the woodwork - skirting and door frames and there’s no way of picking those out specifically. Masking is also pretty hit or miss - mostly miss. Having said that this app is way ahead of the other painting apps.
Projects not working
I have saved colours to a project, but if I try to access the project there is just a search bar, then the app crashes…
Lots of bleeding
The edge detection is pretty poor compared to other apps, colour frequently bleeds to other areas
Awesome app
Very useful and easy to use. Love it!
Impossible to use
The colours all look off, the masking feature doesn’t work and it paints random bits and ceilings as well as walls. Basically useless
This has really good potential
Just needs a few tweaks, for instance, an undo button would be really useful in case you colour in the wrong part. Also, having the ability to zoom in on a photo, would allow for greater precision in selecting walls to fill in. Gives a good idea of what a colour might look like nonetheless.
Dulux Heritage
Downloaded because I wanted to see the Heritage colours. The website recommended and directed me to this app. However, none of this range is available. So this app is useless for me personally.
Useful but crashes a lot!
This app is useful but you need patience as it crashes a lot during use.
Great
Very helpful app
Ian
Rubbish, looking at videos of older version looks good. This one is clumpy can’t select adjacent walls or ceilings in different colours! No instructions so you waste your time before deleting !
Projects function doesn’t work
You can save colours to a project but if you try to view projects the app automatically closes, frustrating!
great app but crashes after a few projects
i love using the app to find colours and then see combinations that compliment. unfortunately the app crashes after saving colours for a few projects. despite that i have tried to reinstall the app but now i have to sadly give up.
Really useful
Very useful & easy to use tool. I think I have avoided a few disasters by using it ! 😊
Too hard to use
Couldn’t be more counterintuitive if they tried. Easier to paint the room to see what it looks like than try and wrestle the app into submission.
My projects
The app freezes and closes trying to access the projects I have saved . Unhappy that I can not see the paints I have saved to the projects.
Projects not opening
The App has worked fine but now I can’t access my saved projects which is annoying
Mr Heaton
Saves making the mistakes. Saves money..
Useless App
This is clunky, unreliable and crashes frequently. There is nothing intuitive about this app, projects disappear regularly and adding mixer colours is not easy. This is not a quick way to visualise how a room may look on your chosen colour or to quickly swap them around. Not exactly a good tool for enhancing sales!
Really great idea but…..
Unfortunately this app does not help choose paint colour. It doesnt label the photos with the paint name. I tried three different colours. Got three great visualisations but i didnt know which shade they were. So no help.
No Heritage
Good app but the Heritage collection is not part of it which is a shame.
App not maintained
This app was useful once but is now clearly abandoned as a sort of low expectation sales tool. No search by colours by the names on the shade cards or by the product line. No labels on the multi colour selection view. No ability it seems to separate the walls from the ceiling 🤷🏼♂️. C’mon Azko, you can spare the cost of doing something imaginative.
Pretty poor
App can’t differentiate between different walls and the ceiling and there’s no option to select a pure white colour.
Quite basic
A good idea in principle however the App doesn’t seem clever enough to differentiate between different walls and even the ceiling. Every room we’ve tried the App with just puts the same colour on every surface which just feels wrong. Modern iPhones have lidar so it should be smart enough to allow you to select individual walls to ‘paint’. Would also be good to allow adjacent walls to be ‘painted’ a different colour but again, seems to be beyond the capability of this App unfortunately
Disappointed
Just didn’t work for me. Too complicated.
Shame not all colours available
Great quick to use app. Just a shame the colours aren’t complete. Was hoping to use for Heritage Colours. Nevermind shop and imagination still prevail…..
Sigh, portrait only!!
This works on an iPad, but not in landscape, which is really annoying. The iPad’s keyboard only works in landscape (Apple, please figure out a way to solve this!!), but it would surely be easier for the app to allow landscape. You can separate the iPad from its keyboard and hold it in portrait mode, and it’s fine for the “photos” themselves. Other than that, it’s quite useful as a general guide. I think people’s expectations are rather high - you’re only getting a rough idea! Let your imagination do the rest.
Too difficult to use
I tried to use this app but after 2 hours of trying I felt like throwing the iPad at the wall. The app is not intuitive, every step change is torture, it’s simply a pain in the arse to use. I was left saying to myself - sod it, I’ll just buy some white trade paint and paint the walls and ceilings the same. Dulux- if you want people to not freak out with this app make it easier to use or provide some basic instructions.
Keeps crashing
App keeps crashing in particular when I try to open my projects
Worst app I’ve ever used
Absolute joke. Doesn’t, no idea what it’s supposed to do. Obviously fake reviews
Keeps crashing
Spent ages creating projects and saving colours from photos and then it lost all my projects and just kept crashing so I lost everything. Shame as it’s potentially a great idea. Also portrait mode only and doesn’t detect half the wall spaces in my photos.
All my projects lost
I used this app to choose colours for decorating the whole house and it was great to use. I saved 11 colour projects on it, but they are now lost since the last update that cleared them all from the app although it still says they are there. When I go to manage projects nothing appears and there’s only a search option. It’s so annoying as I need to redecorate rooms owing to water damage and wanted to use the same colours again. Is there any way a developer could sort the app, or suggest a fix so that I can retrieve my projects? The App Support only takes me to the app FAQs etc.
Recent updates have ruined great app
Color search no longer works in most cases. Unless you use the color picker, then search for that color, any other case it doesnt work. Can literally have a tin of dulux paint in your hand and it wont recognize the name or the color code on the tin. The app was really simple to use, now it’s frankly awful. For example I cant find a way to switch between dulux and armstead color fan decks now.
