So many uses
Any use, you can imagination with this user-friendly creation. I have found it to be incredibly productive for so many uses everything from personal to business communication. It makes the process fast and pleasant. I’m a productivity expert and have sampled many such apps. For functionality and practicality this one is in a league by itself. Thank you, Voxer for your great tool.
Latest Update Ruined Voxer
As a Voxer Pro user of over 10 years, I can say this latest update is easily the worst and most detrimental update to this app I have ever seen. The message playback button appears constantly over the message. The app itself is really laggy. And unresponsive. The options to relocate the button are completely useless as the button is just simply stuck on the right corner of the page and while listening to messages, the app is constantly forced closing, and I have to start my message all over again.
Used to be my favorite
Let’s be clear… I have used Voxer so long that I genuinely don’t even remember when I started using it. I know it was at least six iPhones ago.. I’ve always paid for the pro version because I use it with clients, with dear friends, with family, and I’ll send myself notes constantly. But then they introduced the stupid AI feature… Which, as an avid AI user and tech person I don’t understand why. It feels a little bit more like a money grab than a necessity or a functioning addition. Because in addition to that, now I can no longer share the app without giving full access to all of my contacts and that’s unnecessary and frankly quite intrusive. I hope I can continue to use this app for the next decade… But I’ll be honest I’m also starting to search and see if there is an app that is this simple, this straightforward, and this easy to use in case Voxer decides their base product that everybody has loved for so long is no longer what they’re going to put out… because AI is not necessary in every single situation.
It’s okay.
I use this app to talk to my friend, it’s good for that but they unnecessarily put so many basic features like group chat owners and deleting messages behind a MONTHLY subscription. they don’t even have a call feature either and my messages get stuck on sent instead of delivered like a quarter of the time
Such a fab concept but SO GLITCHY
This app is my favorite for maintaining relationships with long distance friends. I use it literally every day. But it’s so dang glitchy. I don’t know how many times my friends and I have hit the button and talked for several minutes only to find it didn’t actually record…I routinely have to hit the button twice for it to actually start recording. It’s the best concept ever but the tech end needs some help.

Used To Be Good
I use this app for my business to communicate with employees when a call isn’t needed. It used to be great but it has become a glitchy mess. Messages only partially upload and notifications can come hours or days later. Not reliable enough to use any longer.
My favorite messaging app esp for business BUT…..
I have used Voxer as my preferred messaging app for years and chose to go Pro. I love the extra features especially Ai summaries. I especially appreciate the private chat option but has not worked well, depending on the other party to the messages. Please improve private chats, so important when our business demands confidentiality dealing with our clients,
Paid app- constant bugs
Love this app and all it can do, have used for a decade, but it has become nearly unusable. The bugs! Messages don’t download, you go to open a specific chat and it opens a random one. I lose about 65% of messages now. And no android auto or CarPlay app? Come on.
Awful when using Bluetooth.
I use this app everyday and enjoy it but it is HORRIBLE when you are connected to Bluetooth and try to switch it to your phone. There has to be a way to make that better.

Why can’t I hear anything even on speaker mode now? It’s SO quiet. I’ll never understand why developers will go from having a perfectly functional app to then breaking it with updates.
Really convenient app to use
I love the app other than the occasional bugs with my Ford sync system, and the occasional bug with the voxer system
Very glitchy for almost a decade
Have been using this app for about 7 years and I’m surprised the same glitches remain a problem year after year. Messages say sent on the senders end and don’t show on the receivers side. This is super problematic when someone is leaving an hours worth of messages. Sometimes I’ll click on a profile to send a message, and it opens up someone else in my lists chat. If sending information you don’t want shared between different people, this can be pretty significant. Sometimes message shows recording but then when you stop, it disappears. I’d love to switch from this app to something more reliable, but I’ve been using it for so long it’s not ideal to just switch.
Keeps being buggy
I like the way that this app functions in theory, but I have really consistent issues with it being buggy. Updates to the app don’t always fix the problems either. For instance, I went to tap on the first message that I have in the list from somebody that I message with frequently, and for some reason, it automatically fills in with somebody else’s information. Like it goes to another profile instead of the one I tapped in. Also, often times after I’ve listened to a voice memo from someone, I’m still left with the badge showing that I have an unread message even though I have definitely read it and listened to it. When this app functions, it’s great but the problem I’ve been having is that it’s operating at about a 70% functionality for me. That’s a C-

Way better than WhatsApp!!
Many Flaws
This app has a lot of potential, but there are too many flaws in my opinion to make this a practical application for communication, especially that which is time sensitive. I have a new iPhone 16 and recently downloaded the Voxer app and paid the monthly subscription only to have it fail horribly right out of the gate. I would connect it to my Bluetooth, but the audio would play through the speaker on my phone, even though the Bluetooth was connected. If I was to replay a message, it would play through my Bluetooth earbuds, but anything live would play through my speaker, and there are no settings to change this. Several people in my team who have iPhones were experiencing the same issue. I do not recommend this app until they get these bugs fixed.

I’ve been using Voxer for years, and am very thankful for how it aids in communication with my peeps. But you really really need to add a 15-second rewind & forward option!!!
Daily user
I use this to chat with a friend overseas. Daily. Pretty much throughout the day, so you’d probably class me as a heavy user. When it works, it is the best chat app I’ve ever found. But unfortunately, it only works when it wants to, delivery is fairly random, alerts are a joke, and it’s only gotten worse through the last few updates. Since the iOS 26 update, I haven’t even gotten a single audio alert. And yes, I’ve checked all the settings manually. It becomes increasingly frustrating to the point of useless, and then the next day it will redeem itself. But the following day, here comes the troubles again. Ridiculously, it’s STILL the best and most reliable chat app I’ve found. The others remain somehow worse. Your job is to record a voice clip, transmit it to the other end, and alert the other person that it arrived. Why is this so difficult?

the false notification!
it’s a great app but the fact that it sticks a notification on at all times and it NEVER GOES AWAY drives me insane! i was using this app last november-february and it still hasn’t been fixed?! what’s going on?!

I miss the days when you got alerts and I wish you could pick to get alerts again and be able to pick the sound it makes when get a message

Hey Voxer team, Voxer has been good to me for a few years now but as of a few minutes ago it is unresponsive, buggy and glitching. Just before that happened when I’d listen to a vox sent my way, after a few seconds, it would play in super slow mo. I turned off my phone waited and turned it back on again but it didn’t work, the. I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it and still nothing. All of this just happened a few minutes ago. Please check this out and fix it as soon as you can. thank you Moon.
Overly complicated app
This app is soooo buggy! The purpose of this app is suppose to be straight forward! It’s so bad that it’s motivating me to get into app creation and develop a FREE version of this!
Great basics - would benefit from tweaks
I’ve used voxer for over a year now with coaching clients. What’s great - it’s easy to use, love adjusting replay speed of messages, greatly increased value with clients because we can asynchronously communicate via voice 24/7. What’s frustrating: you can’t mark messages ‘new’ if you want to come back to them or revisit them with the ‘unread’ notification like you would with texts or emails. Seems like such an obvious need for any messaging app. It would be great to be able to download the voice messages. You can send a link to the message - but not download the audio file.

Help ~ It shouldn’t be this difficult to cancel a subscription
I need to cancel this subscription, but it’s not showing up in my Apple Subscription list, because Voxer is processing subscription payments on Stripe. I sent a support ticket and they’re telling me to search my Apple subscription list, knowing it won’t show up there because they’re not processing the subscription through Apple.
Fix your app
It’s been the buggiest app on the store for the last 9 months. I was debating on purchasing the pro edition but I think I would rather spend the money on training carrier pigeons at this point. It’s not rocket science please fix a few small bugs and make everyone happy. Overall a great app though. Just dramatics
Glitchy
The feature generally functions well, but I've noticed a couple of issues. When I select a photo to send, it sometimes gets sent multiple times—up to four times—with just one click. Additionally, I've experienced delays with message notifications. I often check for replies from my friend and see nothing, only to find messages that should have appeared earlier when I check again a few hours later.
Please add dark mode!!!

Good but…
It’s great for what it is. But I won’t have service where I am going and the voice messages won’t send unless you have service so this isn’t really a walkie talkie app, it’s more just a voice messaging app. Hope this helps!
Voxer photo upload
This app is decent but I am having a hard time to select photos to upload in my message. I have to delete the app and reinstall to be able to select photos etc.
Voxer support
Excellent support! I got logged out of my account and couldn’t for the life of me get the password reset to work. Voxer support basically caught a typo in my email address and was able to get me access within 24 hours.

Extremely confusing to use an app when trying to set up and use for business. Not intuitive. Packages are confusing and overpriced.

On the normal is app is great. I use it daily. It does get little glitches nothing big but they can be annoying. Even with them the app is still useable.
Problem
My audio only plays when I’m connected to a Bluetooth speaker!
App Bugs
I absolutely love Voxer. I use it everyday in my business. But...I have a notification that I have 3 new messages and I don’t. I have tried everything to get rid of the notification. I thought this last update might delete it. But it didn’t. Help please.

Bugs
The most annoying bug in this system is that it keeps showing numbers on the badges saying I have unread messages when I know for a fact because I deleted all my messages that there are no messages. Have written several feedback‘s and yet I have never heard of a response or reply from them. So I guess they just don’t care hence the reason why this app is two stars. Tried the pro version and then messages would auto play even when the phone was dark so I canceled my subscription.
