I tried making a video l, and for some reason It justs loading for forever. I cant even download the videos I made
It’s hang on iOS devices
Sometimes after recording a video the app got stuck and sometimes i saw black screen. I’ve updated my 17 max to the latest version (26.6.2)
Decent app
It’s decent but it takes all day to upload your clips. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t.
Stalled uploads, and difficulty adding tags
My uploads are stalled. And when adding tags I enter text, it briefly shows existing tags but too briefly to tap and add one. Looks like screen is refreshing before I can tap (maybe related to video still trying to upload but stalled?)

Uploads videos 10% of the time
I’ve used loom for about 4 years, and over the past 3 months, the iOS app stopped uploading videos 90% of the time. I can still watch them on my iPhone, but can’t view it on other devices or download the video to my device. Extremely frustrating, especially with the huge price hike
Good product
Really like using this. Doesn’t always record as not online all the time and would like local record ability. Would also like to be able to rotate the recording within the app. This might be my user error. But aside from these minor issues great product.
unnecessary friction
i’m telling my coworkers to just send me a quicktime video because this is pointless friction. Video thumbnail doesn’t show up in Slack. After I log in it doesn’t take me to the video in the app, i have to go back to Slack and click the link again.
Really laggy
At first everything was perfect but about a month later started getting lazy laggy and just not caring enough. 3 and a half stars.
I’m impressed by this wallybok-extension that adds a lot of functionality to your morning spurge!
The phone apps are increasing, yet maybe we should keep this on the top of the shelf as best apps!
Don’t use it
Horrible app. So hard to leave and join different workspaces. Watched multiple tutorials for an hour and I’m still stuck with the same issue. Not user friendly at all. DO NOT USE

wasted potential
couldve been so good because it actually takes good screen recordings but im just never able to save the videos, it only worked like twice but the videos juts never download and it keeps saying error?? and i know it isnt my wifi because my wifis never bad

I’m honestly not a fan of this, I have to pay monthly to record multiple videos when I can do it for free with OBS. I cancelled my subscription as well and it still charges me even after deleting my account

I truly love Loom but there’s a lot left on the table not including screenshot capabilities on the mobile app or the limited functionality on desktop. You have a great product but I don’t want to use a different application just for that. It feels silly. I desperately want you to make an even stickier product.
Persona video upside down on Vision Pro
I know this doesn’t officially support Vision Pro, but everything seems to work except it makes your video upside down. Unfortunately there’s no setting to fix it. Hoping they’ll figure it out, would be nice to be able to share screen recordings from within there.

So like, I know how to screen record. But shouldn’t there be like an option where you have your camera showing and your screen recording? That’s what I want them to update.

Mobile bugs
Love the desktop app (mostly), but I find the mobile app to have a ton of bugs and rarely works for screen recordings. Have download and uninstall the app multiple times per week.

Tote virus
Whenever I just scroll on my videos or just do anything, my screen just automatically freezes and not the home button, volume buttons, or restart button work. And, another thing when I try to upload: It always just says 0.0% complete for hours.
So difficult to change the camera
I really love loom and use it a lot. But the app has a major problem. The option to switch the camera hovers right over the ‘audio’ choice in the bottom right corner. It’s virtually impossible to change my camera! Please move the location so I can take video with my front camera

refuses to let me save videos, or create a watchlist that shows a accurate count of videos in my history, and recently watched videos. Can only watch the video in real time then afterwards, it doesn’t show where the video was ever watched in the history or previously watched.

Overall great to use but a major downside to the app is that it doesn’t show the face so would love to see an update for it

I’m ten so you can go ahead, skip me, but everytime I pause to write notes, the screen buffers, or goes black. This results in me having to go back and watch a 30 minute video all over again.

Great for remote teaching - but still really glitchy
I’ve loved using Loom in lockdown - to do screen recordings of my lessons, with me speaking I can ‘teach’ and chat to the students, telling them to pause the video and do a task before carrying on to the next slide, etc. And, using the pen to annotate as I speak, it really helps students stay focussed. It is a BRILLIANT concept - auto saves to the Loom website, creates a link to send out, and shows you how many times the video has been viewed. BUT - and this is a BIG BUT - it’s really glitchy. So the screen recording seems to work an absolute treat, I send out the link and have a collective shout from students saying it won’t play past a certain point. AND I had a weird one today where it played from the end. My voice was right in each snippet but the whole thing was a backwards montage of my lesson. VERY FRUSTRATING!

Captions
Hi loom is quite good but I have one request can you please add captions on your videos im not sure if i just cant find them or somthing but sometimes my volume doesn't work so I cant hear what my teacher is saying so I go to put captions on and there not there so I struggle with some of my lessons please try and get this because it would just be a lot easier for probably quite a lot of people who use this app especially for school/work. :)
App isn’t as good as the website
App needs an upgrade, I should be able to record my screen and record me the same as the website version.
Okay needs to be inclusive
Works well for education but there should be a subtitle option (closed captions) for deaf/HoH especially if the teacher doesn’t put their face in the corner for lip reading.

Why the fumy squachers do I have to sign in?
I can’t sign in cuz my parents won’t let me! Also, why do I have to sign in to an app I won’t use that much! Wow, I just typed that only to tell you that your app is pretty bad.
Going to be great
I’ve been using the desktop version of Loom and it’s absolutely superb however the iPad app is still very buggy at the moment. Sometimes the video will stop sometimes it will jump forward when playing back and most recently it has a recording my voice even though I was sure to turn the microphone on. Once these are sorted I would happily pay good money for this app.
