Gute App
What has happened this year?
I have subscribed to WeatherPro for years and been delighted with it. Since it made it’s subscription changes only the opening weather page giving hour by hour information has shown properly. All the ‘layer’ pages have only partial pictures or none at all. I have reloaded my App twice, written to WeatherPro, had replies, but it still does not work. So disappointed.
Excellent weather app !
There are loads of good weather apps out there, but what really makes this one stand out is its rainfall indication. They mostly give an indication of the probability of rain at different times of the day, but this goes further by indicating the likely amount. For example a probability of 80% chance of rain might seem daunting, but if you know the likely amount is 0.2mm then there’s not too much to worry about. Highly recommended.
Weather pro
I have been using this app for a few years. It has kept me dry on most cycle trips :) However, the latest version is very slow, for which I deducted one star. Since a year or so the maps are no longer showing any data. I emailed their support and got a very unfriendly response returned. DO NOT BUY THIS APP Added 2 days later: received email from the developer that they are working on a hotfix. Seen a reference to a fix for way too long. In a previous email received from the developer they also state that they don’t want to update customers by email if a fix is ever forthcoming.
Tolle WetterApp
Fehler in Funktionen
Consistently Accurate Forecasting
I have been using this for many years and find it consistently reliable for accuracy in West of Scotland
No longer functions properly
Used to be best one out there, now half the functionality doesn’t work. Temperatures ok,but not off the maps work on either of the devices I use ( and now have to pay for separately)
Tolle Applikation
Klasse
Klar, Übersicht- und Voraussichtlich
Most facilities withdrawn
It was a great app for some years, but now none of the maps views work. the map is there, but no data. Same in both free and paid versions.
Photo satellite
Pourquoi ?
War gut
Regenradar forecast funktioniert seid Monaten.
Helpful to have
Look on it everyday to check weather before going out.very reliable
Weather pro was the best weather app ☹️
Shame it is now so poor☹️
Assez juste
Gut
Ich kann mich darauf verlassen
Map images non existent
This app used to be brilliant. But now it shows no data for radar or satellite. After trying suggested fixes, I contacted customer service, who said they are aware of the problem, working on it, but have no idea how long it will take to fix, so they closed my ticket.
Geweldige app
Klopt haast altijd.
Good app but missing some data
Have always found it to be a good app, but lately the overlays on the maps do not show any cloud, rain, or anything else. For that reason it is scored low as its missing key data in presentation.
App
Grate app
Used to be excellent
Now it is not worth paying for the premium functions as most do not work any more. Very disappointed as a long time subscriber.
Robbing Subscriptions
I have been a customer for many years and subscribe on 1 or sometimes both devices, the subscription used to login and was easy to administer, this weekend i renewed 1 device then at home renewed the other, then both were asking for payment again, I stupidly renewed at £8.99 and claimed back my 3 months via app store, guess what again asking for renewal, I though ok i will subscribe on the monthly sharing payment and claim back for the £8.99 but apple say not eligible for refund final decision. used to be good but poor subscription purchase experience.
Bug
It’s frustrating that the app does not registrate when my subscription renews. I have to uninstall and reinstall every month.
Sehr gut
De
Rain radar now useless
This is the last year I pay for premium. One of the best features is now useless and doesn’t work.
Katastrophe!
Confusing accounts
Used to be my go-to weather app, but sadly not well supported any more, and not able to share app across different devices without purchasing a subscription for each. Help page link does not work either. Disappointing.
Immer schlechter . War mal gut.
Wer steckt dahinter? Meteo Schweiz? Oder ein anderer professioneller Betrieb. 185KmH 😹😹😹😹 Und täglich alle paar Stunden neue Wetter Infos. Trotz neusten Computer Wetter Daten keine Prognose möglich. Auch die Höchsttemperaturen stimmen nicht. Immer zu hoch. Tipp: Holt euch Infos beim Sturmforum Punkt ch
Sehr informativ
Mr Roy
This app used to be reliable and have really helpful radar rainfall maps and maps giving isobars etc. Sadly, no longer. It has lost all its good features and can no longer be recommended as the go to weather app
Not working for iPad
Pro for iPad just not working even though my subscription works on iPhone
Fully eclipsed
Although giving a good overview of the days ahead and, in the case of the ‘Premium’ version, an excellent weather radar the recent change in subscription model seems to have tarnished the app’s value. No response to my email to the developer and no refund. I have just wasted £17.98 trying to renew my ’Premium’ access across devices and have now deleted the app in favour of Apple’s.
Would love a more in-depth forecast,
Which I used to have, a bit disgruntled that when you have had it and then you charge at a later date
Travelling weather
This gives a good at present weather review. Have not worked out how to get long term weather report
Maps
The Maps never seemed to work properly these days. They used to do.
Question
Unhappy with new subscription model
I have used this app for years and been a premium subscriber. I still think it is one of the best weather apps available. I use it on my iPhone and iPad. My subscription has just expired so I renewed it as soon as prompted. I now find that the standard yearly renewal only works on one device so if I want premium on both I have to pay for a more expensive monthly renewal. I wouldn’t mind paying the extra but having done the standard annual renewal on my iPhone I now can’t use premium on my iPad without another subscription. Come on weather pro - if you don’t support your long term users you may find your business model starts to fail.
New charging method (idiots)
Having been an almost daily user for a number of years, the new premium payment plan means you can only use it on ONE device unless you pay a subscription for every device you use it on. Bye Bye Weather Pro, you were good in your time, but like many before you, pure greed took over. Switching to one of the many and equally good free apps, including the one provided by my Government funded weather service.
