Fraudulent charges
I used to love this app. But when the current price clearly shows 7.99 and they charge you 12.99 instead? That is fraud. Beware of this app and the company that runs it.

I just bought an IMac computer and wish I could down load this app on my computer. That is my only complaint. I would love to have it on a bigger screen cuz I love the wind map. I live by the wind and use this app every day. I appreciate its accuracy. Thanks Zac Ransom

Schlechter geworden
Auf einmal fehlt der Superforecast. Und auch hier wird man gezwungen irgend ein Abo abzuschließen. Warum soll ich bezahlen, wenn die Vorhersagen zu 50% falsch sind? Auf welche Wetterdaten wird denn zugegriffen? US amerikanische? Die haben doch keine Ahnung von lokalen Einflüssen.
The Best
Windfinder is consistently the most accurate predictor of weather conditions. They are also the BEST at predicting where a hurricane will land. I highly recommend. My primary use is for offshore weather conditions prior to going fishing.

Many time it’s obsolète !!!
Inconsistent
The wind forecast for super forecast versus regular forecast is often different. We notice that if it is slightly inclement on one and it is much better on super forecast why is that? It should be more consistent.
Blick in Glaskugel?
Benutze WF Pro seit Jahren. Vorhersagen passen sowas von gar nicht. Windstärken oft deutlich zu niedrig, besonders bei Hack (was für Segler oft lebenswichtig ist). Dazu die Regenvoraussagen wie „in die Glaskugel gesehen“. Es reicht. Ich kündige den Müll und nutze nur noch Windy und Windguru.
Anzeige der Tide
Die Tide am Atlantik wird leider auch in der pro Version nicht angezeigt.

Accurate for yachties
Windfinder Pro has been our go to App for sailing around the northwest coast of Scotland. It’s always been pretty accurate. I’m a bit disappointed the latest version only has 3hr step forecast on the Superforecast. Otherwise brilliant.
Einiges fehlt einiges ist überladen
Mir fehlen Isobarenkarten! Ich verwende die App seit es sie gibt zur Segelplanung. Leider ist die neue Version meiner Meinung nach in der Karte unübersichtlich und überladen. Schön das es die Spots gibt, aber müssen die als Vorgabe angezeigt werden? Optional bei Bedarf einblenden wäre da sicherlich besser in der Handhabbarkeit.

More than 50 percent of the time this app is wrong, planed for a calm day according to this app only to run into windy choppy conditions, tides are over an hour late which is not so bad but future wind predictions are terrible

1) The wind speed (average and gusts) is always stated too low. I have been using the app for several years and always have to add5-10 Kts to the stated forecast to get the actual wind. 2) the forecast does not seem to actually update very regularly so it seems that once it set for the day it doesn’t then adjust throughout the day as conditions change etc?

I got this app figuring that the focus on wind would also help me find lack of wind conditions ideal for kayaking. You might want to consider that slant as well in your app considering the great number of kayakers out there.

I enjoy going sailing with my grandson and always check the weather before we go.
Inaccurate
Paid for the pro version as in the past it had been really good and I wanted super forecast back, but I have to say, it is way off all of the time. It also sticks to its original forecast, even when the weather changes. I have sat in blazing sunshine all day and it’s still trying to convince me it’s raining!

App itself works well and is designed nice, but rarely is it ever accurate. If you are looking for real time whether and wind speed, this is not the app.
Average
It does not show tides and there is a lack of help and instruction on how to read and use the app. Tides and also showing wind speed on the map is Lacking.
Love this App!
Have increasingly overtime used this app for ALL my weather related needs now. I’m retired and live on the Fla panhandle coast and do tons of outdoor/offshore activities through a narrow, very shallow inlet. Having timely confidence in my wind and wave direction, size and speed means EVERYTHING for me as I’m able to have magnificent experiences time and again using Windfinder Plus. I’ve come to rely on it for all my weather needs regardless of where I am. This is not a light endorsement as this app has earned its way to prime real estate on my Homepage over the last few years. Big fan!
Waste of Money!
The only reason I upgraded to Pro was for the advertised Alerts which are not available in the Pro Version anymore!!! Thanks for nothing! Would give 0 Stars if I could

De laatste maanden zit de Windfinder er regelmatig flink (10kn) naast.
Not accurate
Don't know where the information comes from, but it is badly inaccurate as far as temperatures go. Last night they gave the minimum where I live at +2C, it went down to -5.9C !!! It's been completely incorrect for weeks now. Just because I live on the coast doesn't mean we don't have frosts. Need to change their source of data I think. 😖
Great app for boaters
I rely on Windfinder to pick my boating days in the Florida Keys. The simple hour by hour format allows me to get on and off the ocean safely.

Good but would benefit from a widget
Per the description.
No rainfall
It's a strange thing to remove the rainfall measurement. Why did it go? The cloud icons are just too vague on their own now. It was better before with white and grey clouds, blue raindrops and the rainfall in millimetres. Clear! The data are available on rainfall, XC Weather has it. Why not restore rainfall for us?
Oh dear...
Was a great app with simple UI. Latest update has ruined it with small unreadable icons and confusing display.
