Very impressed with this latest version of the app. Lots of improvements make it easier to navigate to the important data and points!
Complaint
Every fishing season from July till the end of September, I had relied on Bouy Weather for important information. The changes that I find during this fishing season make Bouy Weather unrecognizable to me. I guess I can delete it now.
Overall good
I love the app it’s the best/most accurate app I’ve used for fishing my only reason I give it a 4 star is because premium cost to much$$$.
I liked the 3 models
The recent update went to one model. Since the 3 sometimes were different i liked knowing that there ain’t consensus of opinion. More info is better.

Absolutely appreciate this information while doing a long crossing.
App ruined by latest update
Been using this app religiously for the last 9 years……latest update destroyed the user interface with clutter, unnecessary graphics, unintelligible legends……can't even get the main display to fill the screen……every action is now a science project to pull out of the noise……this app used to be my go-to for quick insights into sea states and forecasts……no longer have the time or energy to dig out basic info like wave heights, periods, met data……cancelling my subscription.
Impressive real time data
You come a long way baby! As the software continues to evolve and improve so shall the improvements. There's is one thing that I want to see in the future. Information about the run and their migration patterns? Knowing more about where, what, and when would be sweet for the haul. Keep up the great work!
Bring back the additional modeling
With the recent update there is now only one model to consider. The prior beauty of this app was to seeing forecasts through the lens of various models. The update has stripped it down to one model but still charges the same amount (I’m a subscriber, but possibly not much longer)
Good app but price stops me upgrading to premium
Can’t really fault the look and functionality of the app. I do like it, but monthly subscription price is too steep. I only use my boat about 6 months of the year. I’m not going to shell out for an annual subscription and £13.99 per month is not really affordable. I now gather the same information from other sources. Sort out your pricing structure and I’ll buy your product.

Buoys?
The app is literally titled Buoyweather yet the NOAA offshore buoys are nowhere in the app. Maybe they’re on a paid level somewhere but that’s not happening.
Very good app; needs tweak!
Glad I hit this for our trip to Antarctica. Felt great knowing the Drake Passage would be calm on our crossing. Will now use it on all our water-crossing trips. Sadly, app is not intuitive. Difficult to set favorites among things needing tweaking.

App won’t save favourite locations, every time the app is closed it resets despite being logged in

Buoyweather app shows only 2 days of forecast under the title of 7 day ... premium is 14 day for $$ .. I don’t understand why the app forecast says 7 day and only shows 2 days ...

I have come to depend on this app to help me plan fishing trips and to make go/no go decisions prior to launching my boat.
User not found
Just downloaded the app and was asked to either sign in or register. I have never been on buoywrather so I tried to register my info. After entering my info, it says no user found. I will be deleting.
Good app, if pricey
Expensive but good. Only issue is often the three different forecasts disagree with each other so you don’t know which one to trust.
Very Easy to Use and Reliable
When you go offshore this is the app to use as you plan and the day of your trip. All the data is in one place with easy to understand data and graphics. It’s a must have app for me.
Horrible
Save your money - this app is absolutely horrible. When you open the forecast, you can’t close the screen without having to end the app and relaunch. Seriously bad.
Definitely use for offshore
I’ve used Buoyweather for several years when going offshore as one of the ‘tools’ in deciding when to leave. It’s a great resource.

This app does exactly as it claims, giving accurate weather forecasts for your chosen area! Easy to set up and read.
Ripoff
I was supposed to get a 7 day trial and it charged my credit card when I registered. Went to my subscription and there was no trial period. Beware of the scam.
Accurate
Certainly accurate and easy to read, only down side is the implementation is a little old school but that is a minor point. The most important point is the accuracy and that is spot on.

I’ve been using bouyweather for a few years with good luck and simplicity . Keep it simple buoyweather,and don’t screw it up bouyweather!

The app has been accurate and provides a very accurate picture of what your about to sail into… needs some tweaks, but overall, highly recommend..
Beware of the trial
The free trial period is only seven days when you sign up by the app. When you download this app you will get an email that will tell you that it is 15 days. This is not true. You will be billed for the full subscription, if you do not cancel within seven days.
Great update
I love the latest update. Full screen mode on iPad is so good and so is the Google maps integration.
