Worthless
Garbage. Does not work properly after getting a new iPhone. Chat is worthless and calling the banking cannot help you either. Going to a branch doesn’t help. I sent an email requesting help and they send me some generic response. I follow the instructions and I am still not able to use the app. A terrible Greek bank. Terrible support. I have had this issue going on for a year now. I can access my account through Google Chrome but not through the App.

Γιατι καταργησατε την αυτοματη συμπληρωση κωδικων otp που ερχονται σε μηνυμα; Γιατι να πρεπει να το γραφω απο τη στιγμη που το ios μου δινει τη δυνατοτητα autofill? Το ιδιο λαθος εχει κι η εφαρμογη των επιχειρησεων, την οποια προφανως αντιγραψατε, οποτε μας αφαιρεσατε μια ευκολια με τη νεα εφαρμογη
NBG Customer Service
This bank has an English version of their site. When you select the English version, not everything is in English. There are areas that are still in Greek. How is this going to help someone navigate and understand what is being asked if they do not read and understand Greek? If you are an international client, you cannot get a PIN number to activate a prepaid Mastercard unless you have a Greek cellphone. If you call their customer support line, they are not very helpful. They rush through the conversation as if you are a bother.

Μεταφορά χρημάτων
Προσπάθησα για 45 λεπτά να κάνω την μεταφορά από το IPAD . Κάλεσα τον αριθμό και μίλησα με την Μαρίκα Γκεκα. Αφ ενός δεν είχε χρόνο, αφ έτερο δεν με βοήθησε καθόλου. Τόσο δύσκολο να κάνω μια απλή μεταφορά λίγων ευρο, όταν ο αρχιτέκτονας περιμένει την πληρωμή στην πολεοδομία για την έκδοση άδειας οικοδομής. Ευχαριστώ όλους!

Keep asking every few months to change passwords does not remember your transactions or Tranfers unless you want to serve them Customer services it’s not consistent one rep can find your account next time another rep it tell you you dont exist providing each time the exact same information Time to close the account and try a different bank if I am lucky
Functional, but some rough edges
Overall, not a bad banking app, but it has some major gotchas that have hung around without getting fixed. Here are a couple. Most people format IBANs with spaces for readability, and if they are wise, they paste them in to avoid mistyping. The app accepts the IBAN with the spaces, but doesn’t strip them out, so the IBAN fails validation. If you delete the spaces, each time you delete a space, the app pops up a validation failure and what is more the validation error box can only be dismissed in one way. Another problem: transaction 3FA codes, these can contain spaces when you set them up, but spaces can’t be entered from the keyboard, so I have to type my code into another app, copy it, and then paste it into the transaction 3FA field!

Verification of personal details almost impossible
Unable to verify all personal details. The app was designed for those who are resident in Greece. To confirm home address One can only upload utility bills if they are generated in Greece e.g. ΕΥΔΑΠ etc. No options for those resident abroad. If someone tries to verify via gov.gr , it is still not possible as the app sends a verification code to the mobile device without the international country code resulting. So frustrating as one needs to travel for hours just to verify documents in the embassy and post it to the bank . Shame because apart from this it is easy to use
Over 60yo? Stay away from this “bank.”
If you are over 60 and a polyglot, stay away from these individuals; their highnesses will consider you senile, a de facto victim of fraud, and unable to handle your subscriptions to apps from different countries!

OTP functionality does not work
Does not send OTP to my Viber and requires me to register again (which in itself requires OTP). End up not being able to access my account. So clunky!

Ραντεβού σε κατάστημα
Η υπηρεσία για ραντεβού σε συγκεκριμένο κατάστημα δεν είναι λειτουργική . Δεν εμφανίζει ειδοποίηση διαθεσιμότητας ή μη. Τηλεφωνικά δεν μπορούν να μ εξυπηρετήσουν . Πρέπει να μεταβώ στο κατάστημα μήπως και εξυπηρετηθώ . Στα τηλέφωνα δεν απαντούν ολόκληρα πρωινά για κάμποσες μέρες. Όλα αυτά σε χάσιμο χρόνου 20 ημερών για ένα ραντεβού .
Why change the language?
My app has always been in English & still was on Saturday, I’ve just gone to pay a bill & everything is in Greek & I can’t find any option to change the language … if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!! If I wanted my app to be in Greek I wouldn’t have set it up in English in the first place

Needs to be customer-centric.
Not user friendly and not designed with the customer in mind. Everything about this bank is about the convenience of the managers, the staff and the “insiders”. Very regrettable. Please place the focus on customers they are the reason you have a job.

Limited functionality
The app is easy to use but personal maintenance functionality is limited. For example; I am a Greek now living abroad and the app does not allow me to update my home address (when wanting a new debit card) or edit the country code number ( always defaults to Greece +30) with my new European number ( had to fly to Athens, go to the bank to add it and despite that the app still shows a default of +30) It also does not include other bank products eg fixing savings interests for 1 or more years.

Λοιπόν, προσπαθώ να ανοίξω λογαριασμό. Έχω ανεβάσει πρωτότυπα PDF, όχι σκαναρισμένα, τα πάντα (εκκαθαριστικά, βεβαιώσεις κλπ), φτάνω στο σημείο του live video και μου λέει ότι υπάρχει πρόβλημα με το ιντερνέτ μου, και να πάω κάπου με καλύτερο σήμα. Έχω τέλειο σήμα, πέντε γραμμές, σταθερότατο. Τί πρόβλημα έχει; Βέβαια δεν υπάρχει δυνατότητα να ζητήσεις βοήθεια από την ίδια την εφαρμογή. Μερικές φορές αναρωτιέται κανείς, εκτός από τον προγραμματιστή, δοκιμάζει κανείς άλλος τις εφαρμογές πριν τις κυκλοφορήσουν; Ενημέρωση 26 Νοεμβρίου 2021: Τελικά προέκυψε ότι η εφαρμογή έχει πρόβλημα όταν τρέχει στο iPhone. Μόλις δοκίμασα από ένα iPad δούλεψε τέλεια, η διαδικασία του live video ολοκληρώθηκε σε λιγότερο από δέκα λεπτά, τα έγγραφα εμφανίστηκαν για υπογραφή και σε συνολικά όχι παραπάνω από 20 λεπτά από όταν άρχισα είχα λογαριασμό στην Εθνική Τράπεζα, IBAN, κλπ. Όλα αυτά χωρίς καν να βγω από το σπίτι μου, χωρίς ραντεβού, χαρτομάνι, φωτοτυπίες και όλα όσα συνήθως συμβαίνουν σε άλλες τράπεζες. Είναι πάρα πολύ θετικό ότι η Εθνική Τράπεζα φέρνει τις τραπεζικές συναλλαγές στο επίπεδο που είναι στις άλλες πολιτισμένες ευρωπαϊκές χώρες. Τώρα απλώς περιμένω την κάρτα με το ταχυδρομείο. Θα έβαζα ανεπιφύλακτα 5 αστέρια αν δεν υπήρχε το πρόβλημα με το iPhone.

Καλή πρώτη προσπάθεια.
Θέλει όμως ακόμα δουλειά. Το branch locator πρέπει να έχει αναζήτηση ανα γράμμα όπως στον τηλ κατάλογο. Επίσης περισσότερα είδη πληρωμών δεν θα εβλαπταν. Πάντως για πρώτη προσπάθεια είναι ΟΚ και ευτυχώς που δεν έβαλαν και χρέωση στην χρήση (βλεπε γελοίες χρεώσεις τύπου μεταφοράς χρημάτων σε άλλη τράπεζα εσωτερικού από το Internet banking!!?!)
iOS 13
Since iOS 13 came out, fingerprint login authorization is not working. It lets you use it to launch the app, but then you have to enter your user name and password which eliminates the purpose of the fingerprint login. I deleted the app and reinstalled it, however, this didn’t fix the issue.
PIN
Limited compared to other banking apps. One annoyance is that if you change your PIN you must delete the app and reload it again. And why does transaction history only go back 1-2 months?
