The OG of Our Groceries
Literally can’t count how many years I have been using this app. Absolutely certain that this is the longest running app I’ve ever used. I feel like it’s been a decade, could that be? There is nothing that will ever replace my OG app. I have lists for everything: groceries (duh), dinner ideas, library books to check out, gift ideas, things to pack, the list goes on (see what I did there)?! Yes, there are other apps for this integrated into our phones but they are always lacking in one way or the other. I will forever be loyal to OG. It’s simple and perfect, love the back up and memory features, wouldn’t change a thing. Highly recommended, thank you!! :)
I'm abandoning this app after using it for years
I'm abandoning this app after using it for years because it's become so obnoxious with larger ads that now support motion. It was never that great and now it has pushed itself below my threshold of usability.
Good App
Once you learn it, it’s fine, but it’s not the most user-friendly app. Takes some time to set up and get used to. I like that there’s an iOS app and a macOS app that synchronizes.
Go back to the old version PLEASE!!!
How do I go back to the old version where every time I selected an item it didn’t take me all the way back to the Home Screen? This new updated version is really annoying and I miss the old way. I love the app for the convenience but this change makes me so frustrated I almost want to go back to a hand written list. 😫 Here to amend my review as I was contacted by the developer and apparently there is a place in the settings that allows you to change this and “add multiple items” but I’m only adding one more star because I am still frustrated that it would change without notice and not keep the original settings. Why not keep the original setting then have you go to settings and change it to only add one at a time if that’s what you want?! Change is hard enough for people don’t make decisions for us too. 🙄😆
Favorite App of all time until recently
This has been my most used app for years. Now all of a sudden I can no longer tell Alexa “ Tell Our Groceries to add ——-“. Alexa puts it into my Amazon list - which I don’t use. When queried about this Alexa says it’s not supported by my Echo Show 10. When I move to another device I get the same response. It’s always been supported and used several times a day. Sure hope you can get this fixed.

Our Groceries came highly recommended from a person I respected and it’s always worked well for me. I love how I can use it on my computer, phone, and watch — whichever is best at the time! It’s wonderful how a number of us can all share a common grocery list!
Watch adds
Adds are not well curated. My wife mistakenly clicked on one while holding the phone and it opened with a loud, embarrassing, threatening message in the middle of a store. We have removed the app.
Very Nice app!
I really enjoy this app. I don’t only use it for groceries, I create a list to track to-do items - my wife has hers, and I have another. Originally I used two lists for me, one for yard tasks and another for in the house, till I realized I can use one category for each. One feature I would suggest as a grocery list function is the ability to put a price for each item. That way as you are adding items to your grocery list you will see a total price for them (if you pre-entered the price, which would remain linked to that item always. It will show total items with the price entered, and that total, and the number of items without an associated price, so you can in your head estimate the remaining items. As you are shopping you enter the remaining prices for those without a price, so that before you check out, you will know what the cost will be. If you add this feature, a small extra would be to select how the price field is shown in the summary, and allow the value field to have a custom text name (example ‘Price’ and another person labels it ‘On-Hand Count). Then Either (in the list summary) - total it (if used as a total cost) - average it (so that field can be used for different purposes - delta ( the lowest value, the highest. And delta/difference high minus low) In all cases the total number of items is always shown. Great app just the way it is, but if you are always looking for ways to improve and draw more users, this is mine.
Malware ads
Ads served as of July 2026 appear consistent with malware delivery, so take care not to click. Eg; “iPhone storage full. Clean up now”
It does what you need
I’m a harsh marker and feel three stars is appropriate for when things do what they are supposed to. It’s good for what it is and I continue to use it. Reliable and efficient
Incredible support
After switching from my wonderful Android to this God awful IPhone I couldn’t get my lists from the app. Several emails back and forth and it came down to I had logged in with an extra letter to my email. Not once did they lose their patience. This is one of my favorite apps! It works wonderfully!!!

Good app!
I’ve been using this app for several years now. Hubby & I share it so we can both update our list as needed. We use it for multiple stores, each having its own list. And when you always have your phone, you always have your grocery list! My only real complaint is when updating or adding a note to an item, the app creates a 2nd entry for the item. I feel this should not create another entry, but simply update the existing item. Birthday card is a prime example. I want to be able to add or change the note from “Mom” to “Kathy” to “John” without the app creating a 2nd & 3rd…Birthday card entry. The picture feature is fabulous, and updates the item, so I’d expect adding the note should work the same. 7/2026 update. Still love this app! But still have the same complaint about it creating a 2nd item when you just want to add a note for the next shopping trip, or even when just correct a misspelling. So your item list gets full of unnecessary extra (semi) duplicates.
Won’t Work on IPhone 16 Pro
Have used this grocery app for many years and share it with my spouse. It worked wonderfully until iOS 26 update ruined most third party apps. This app hasn’t opened since.
Shopping List
Would prefer if i could group in categories rather than alphabetical. Meat, F&V, freezer would make it easier as i went through grocery store.

Very useful, enhancements wanted
An excellent app, particularly as it syncs across devices. Could do with following enhancements: 1 provide a button to add items (not just a line in the items list) 2 sort all deleted items in alphabetical order / or by category 3 adding a new item and assigning a category takes 5 clicks, this could be reduced to 3 or 2 Hoping for further improvements next version or two :) Regards .. ** update 22 Jul 26: currently hosting fraudulent scam adverts from ProtectHub.top claiming phone is corrupted and trying to get me to load scam software. Avoid till they fix it!
Good, but could be better
My wife and I use every week. Minor annoyances: It’s too easy to accidentally touch an item and it disappears to the “crossed off” list. Have also had items add themselves to the list with an image of the item. I think it scans for bar codes in the store,and if your camera spots certain items it will add them to your list. If so, I want to know how to turn this off.
Used to love
There was an update recently that added a few steps for rearranging my items. Too many steps!
Expensive
This is a good app but too expensive for a lifetime licence. Should not be more than $4
It’s Broken!
I’ve been using this app for 10 years or more and it’s great. But for the last two or three days it has refused to load on my iPhone. I’ve reloaded the app, but that doesn’t help. It works fine on my iPad. Help!
No Search?
Nice app accept you have to scroll through the whole list to find and item. How can an app in today’s market not include a search option. Especially one that is just a list.
Great so far
Wanted a good shareable grocery list so tried this and I am liking it more than expected. It is easy to use and I keep finding little features that I really like.
Categories are annoying
App is great but recent updates seem to have made it impossible to leave my list uncategorised. Even when I go to an item and make it uncategorised, if I tick it off and re add it to the list it’s back in a category. Please allow us to have our list and every item uncategorised.
Improvement needed please
I use the app every week for my shopping list - it’s great. However, would be so much better if I could just scroll through my master list and select items with a tick box and then add to my list all at once, instead of having to add an item, then go back to list, add an item, go back to list. Everyone shops from their previous lists! Would make it so much quicker and easier and less frustrating!! Thanks

Constantly trying to force upgrade to pro
Terrible app! They say it’s free but after using it for a few years I am deleting it! It is constantly running ads! That is NOT free! Charge to remove ads? That’s not free either! Scummy company!!

I love this shopping list app but I dislike the update that adding items has gone to the bottom of the list. It was great as it was.
Change in behaviour
In the most recent version of the iOS app, the most recent list no longer auto opens when launching the app. Instead the app opens to the master list screen. The extra taps to keep opening my main grocery list is killing me
App doesn’t update/ sync on Apple Watch
The app works great, but is there a reason why my shopping lists and items on the iPhone app don’t update on the Apple Watch app? My Apple Watch app is still stuck with the items and shopping lists from a week ago….
Great App!
This is a great option for busy families that have several shoppers. For instance, my husband shops for our family at Costco so we have a ‘Costco list’ that all of us can add items to. I mainly shop for food at our local grocery store, so our family members can add items to my ‘Grocery Store’ list. We even have a ‘Walmart List’ for other things we need. Very easy to use and helps us all keep track of things we need! Highly recommend!

Great Family App
What a great way for a family to share their grocery needs. We can easily add items to any list (we base our lists on local stores) and whoever is out can stop and ensure we have what we need.
Needs fixing
This app works very very well by myself. However my wife and I are signed up to the same app and on a couple of occasions when one of us is done the shopping it hasn’t updated and the other person has ended up buying exactly the same things, therefore a major double up which is a total pain.If this was fixed I’ll probably give it a five star rating.
Good App but Shocking Price!
Nice app but what a shame the price hike on this app has gone ridiculous. Was £8.99 which was shocking to start with (no family sharing), now it is £17.99 (with family sharing). Seriously?!?

I have been using this app for quite a long time and then upset because they change the way it is and it’s horrible confusing hate it

Disappearing items
Have been using this app for about a year and it has been great! Really useful as my FIL was shielding and we did his grocery shopping. Lately items have started disappearing from various lists. Will try and delete and reload but not ideal.
You Need This!
Super user friendly. Love that it saves recipes that I can just add to my list. No hassle with my husband and I both adding to the list on our separate phones. Doesn’t over complicate the process just get it!

Was using this, but randomly deleted the account and all lists across all out devices, tried to log back in but was just a blank account? Have deleted and use another now
Okay app
1. Whilst I am enjoying the app I think the pro price is a little high 2.Also when tidying the master list it would be better to be able to select all the ones I want to delete then select delete rather than having to delete one at a time 3. I would like to be able to delete master items from my phone or iPad. I rarely use pc 4. I cant seem to get Alexa device to put items into ourgrocery list. I have followed all the trouble shooting instructions. I have emailed your support but no response grrr Clearly wrote the above review a while ago with no response so whats the point writing another review. Should be able to make words larger for those with poor eyesight. I am able to change these text settings in other apps Also should be able to set default text to capitals if required instead of having to change it every time you put a new item in the list
Ridiculous price
I love the app and had been considering upgrading to get rid of the ads. I thought that £4.99 was a crazy price to lose an ad but when I decided I would upgrade and support the developer I found it is now £9.99. Sorry but that is crazy. Not a chance. I will just live with the ads or find an alternative of which there are dozens. The developer needs to come to his senses and price it at something like £1.99, would probably make loads more money doing that.
