Every run is entirely random…. Just a waste of time and money. If it was a little more forgiving on the weapon pulls it might be fun. Even if you have all the same weapon you get to the end round and have level 2 guns….

Well I convinced my parents to buy it (somehow) and I’d say it’s pretty fun I’d recommend it to bullet heaven genre enjoyers :)
bosses require a complete rework
ah yes bosses can two tap me after i spend 15 minutes crafting the perfect build, this is poor game design and the devs refuse to do anything about it, if ur gonna add bosses to a game like this, maybe take some notes from enter the gungeon or cult of the lamb, “but we aren’t cult or enter the gungeon!!!” well then ur game sucks, if you’re not gonna follow the basic rules of a roguelite, then don’t make a roguelite, simple.
WESENTLICH schwerer als an PC
Spiele Brotato seit release und ich empfinde das balancing hier sehr schlecht. KA wie man hier 5* am laufenden Band findet, scheinbar hat niemand den Nutzen einer Rezension verstanden. Das PC game ist einfach um Welten besser und vorallem viel besser getuned. Hier ist es ein einziger Grind den einen perfekten run mit Glück zu schaffen ohne geoneshotted zu werden. Sehr schade. Netter Zeitvertreib aber nicht ansatzweise vergleichbar mit dem Original.
Best on the go game
Was looking for rogue like games on my phone and found this. Perfect for just having nothing to do as ever run is different from the last
Colossus mini boss ruined the game for me.
It shouldn’t be the case that whether or not I have a successful run is if I have to face the colossus monster at wave 11 or 12. Unfortunately, this seems to be literally the only mini boss that spawns for me 90% of the time, no exaggeration. The one out of ten times that I don’t have to face this boss. I almost always win the run, that is not right. One of the most poorly designed bosses I’ve ever seen in a game WAY over tuned. Did you all eve test this boss?
Spaßig aber schlechter Controller Support
Ich spiele das Spiel schon mehrere Jahre. Zunächst auf dem PC, dann auf dem iPad und iPhone. Leider wurde der Fortschritt zwischen den iOS Geräten nicht übertragen. Nervig ist jedoch die Controller-Steuerung. Ich nutze einen Controller am iPad. Normalerweise sollte die Steuerung am PC und iPad identisch sein. Ist sie aber nicht. Klar geht es auch „nur mit touch“, das finde ich aber häufig unbequem. Und teilweise funktioniert das mit dem Controller aber die Menü-Führung ist katastrophal und die Steuerung des Charakters gefühlt deutlich träger als auf dem touchscreen. Wenn das noch verbessert werden würde wäre es perfekt.
Unmöglich
Ich spiele das Game seit Release. Ich habe sogar erst auf dem Handy angefangen und danach erst auf PC. Die PC Version unterscheidet sich massiv, meiner Meinung nach. Dort habe ich alles auf Gefahrenstufe 5. Bei der Mobile Version schafft man es nur mit bestimmten Charakteren über Stufe 3 hinaus. Ich habe es mit mehreren Charakteren ausgetestet. Auf dem PC fühlt sich Stufe 5 an, wie Stufe 3 auf dem Handy. Durch die Latenz beim Bewegen ist es sogar noch schwerer. Der Shop wirkt unbalancierter. Die Bosse im Midgame sind ab Stufe 3 ein Glücksspiel. Ab Stufe 5 sind sie nur mit perfekter Ausrüstung und korrekter Attributzuweisung überhaupt machbar - in 90% der Fälle jedoch nicht. Ich habe auch das Gefühl, dass die Gegner (v. A. Bosse) auf der Handyversion viel schneller sind. Ebenso, habe ich festgestellt, dass die Heilung weniger ist und sich die Gegneranzahl massiv unterscheiden. Ich habe das Spiel gemocht und auch die DLCs aber der Schwierigkeitsgrad ist nicht fordernd, sondern einfach frustrierend. Der Entwickler hat von mir was er wollte aber ich gebe es auf. Es macht so keinen Spaß mehr. Spiel wurde deinstalliert.

Awesome game!
Brotato is one of my favorite games. I bought it on Switch 2 and on iOS. It’s so simple yet so fun and so addictive. Gameplay is nearly perfect. The only issue on iOS is that the touch controller has no center or “dead zone”. You must lift your finger off the screen to get your Brotato to stop moving. Please add a dead zone and and adjustment for it in the settings. Some people like large dead zones and others do not.
Fast wie am PC
Ich mag das Spiel sehr aber es gibt leider einige traurige Mängel. Leider immer noch kein richtiger COOP und online COOP, sehr schade. Auf der mobilen Version erst recht nicht. Dazu kommt das die Elitegegner bei der Schwierigkeit „3“, die bei Level 11/12 spawnen extrem schwierig sind, im vergleich zu allen anderen Leveln. Im Vergleich zur PC Version sehr unbalanced… Dadurch muss man einfach nur noch Glück haben das kein Elitegegner in Level11/12 spawned um das Spiel zu gewinnen, sehr schlechte Voraussetzung…

I have this game on 3 devices and happy to pay for it everytime. I’ve been waiting to get expansions because there’s so many ways to play the game and I want to do that first. 100% recommend; fun solo and with friends/my kids. Great for strategy, or just casual, however you want to play. I love then when you lose a round, you’re done. Keeps it fun!!!

The damn joystick
Honestly I have no complaints about the game except for the joystick. It seems like no matter where you put it on the screen it’s in the way eventually. I have it in the lower right corner and I avoid that area like the plague because if you get too close to that corner of the map you’re functionally blind. I wish there was a better option but it seems like you just have to avoid that 1/4 of the map or else you’ll be at a huge disadvantage.
Leider nicht mehr zu empfehlen
An sich ein super spiel wo ich schon unzählige Stunden sowohl auf dem Handy als auch an dem PC verbracht habe. Leider hat sich das spiel in den letzten Wochen an die 50x aufgehängt was mir den Spielspaß komplett nimmt. Aktuell muss ich leider jedem abraten dafür Geld auszugeben.
Not A True Universal App
This game is fantastic. However, while sold as a universal app, the iPad and iPhone versions have features that the Mac version does not. There is no iCloud sync between Mac and iPad/iPhone. It’s truly a bummer.

Great mobile game but mobile version has bugs
Overall this has been a very fun time eater. My biggest gripe is with some runs bugging out on higher waves and locking up. This is rare however. More annoying is how impossible some runs feel on D5 with certain characters. This appears to be more problematic on the mobile experience. Currently Beastmaster is impossible. The game simply will not roll into pets in the shop. PC users roll into pets every time. Really dumb.

Great, but buggy
It's a great game, I've sunk so much time into it and want to sink more, but it's managed to get itself into a state where it hangs on startup showing a "Login…" message. I've deleted and reinstalled and even tried a completely different device with no joy. Very frustrating.

Love brotato but phone version not so much
On Xbox I absolutely love the game, on phone however there are a few things that annoy me. The mines all seem to spawn on the edge of the map and also when you have wrenches they hit the enemy into yourself.
Needs better Magic Keyboard support
Control the character through the apple Magic Keyboard is working, but has a delay and disconnect from the character every few seconds.
