Fun game takes time to get used to it I died a lot in the beginning but once’s u get the hang of it becomes very easy
Too many bugd
There are too many bugs with the game. A lot of weapons are not working the way it supposed to. For example, all grenade type weapon does not throw grenade properly at the later level. Acid corrosive pump with multiple beams do not shoot readily at later stage. It seems like the only weapon that is realiable is actually the one that shoots bullets. I will be making a refund

Becomes very repetitive. Subpar mechanics as well
This game starts out very fun with lots of weapon upgrades, massive xp gains, squashing bugs and gear leveling, however, after about an hour of running around everything just becomes an unkillable bullet sponge that can only die from other exploding bugs. Once you play for a couple hours, every gun is the same, and you end up using the identical loadout every level you play. Not to mention there’s only one control (moving the joystick around). The mission types are copy/paste with a couple changes in the biome, but that’s really all. Also, you spend so much time trying to farm materials and xp just for the drop pod to only give you 30 seconds at the end of each level to collect them. I’ve failed missions where I’ve spent 30 minutes leveling and grinding upgrades just to be 5 feet away from the drop pod when the timer expires. Overall good concept, but subpar execution. Not worth 12 bucks, play the real DRG instead.
Good game but….
I liked the tutorial. It played well. Then I saw the price for the full game. This is a $5.00 game all day. I would never pay what they are asking so I hope they lower the price at some point.
Great Mobile Game From One Of My Current Fav Game Series
I just installed this game because I’ve heard quite a bit about it + I’m slowly becoming a big DRG fan. And at first, it seemed like your average “swarm shooting game” which made me a bit disappointed at first. But after giving the game enough time, it’s actually very fun to play and has it’s own unique features that sets it apart from most other generic “swarm shooting games” on the App Store. So far 10/10 and heavily considering buying the full version, especially while it’s on sale! Update About A Unfair Bug: So I bought the full game and I’m enjoying it a lot. But theres a *very* annoying bug I want to point out. So about the Dreadnought twins, specifically the Arbalest, normally it’s supposed to run away from you to keep its distance if you approach it so it can, y’know continue to shoot projectiles at you. But sometimes, I have these absurdly unfair scenarios where the Arbalest just randomly decides to SPRINT at my character at an absurd speed that my character cannot outrun ( even if i upgrade my speed stats its still always faster :/ ) , and it doesn’t stop doing this until my character dies. It’s a REALLY unfair bug and I would like to ask Ghost Ship Games if this can be fixed. Please and thank you.

An excellent but crashy game
It’s loads of fun, but frustrating to constantly lose my progress when the game crashes, which is often. I have an iPhone 16 Pro, so this feels like it could be better. I am about to give up playing because I’m tired of redoing the same levels.

Maybe at the top of my favorite games from any system. Crashes a lot.
I love that I can play this in short bursts. Simple but rich design with great graphics, sound and gameplay. Love everything about it with one flaw. Not enough biomes. Same few every time. They use them well, but a change of scenery would be fantastic. Edit: my iPad Pro m5 keeps on crashing. They can’t seem to solve the problem. Too bad, it was fun while it lasted. Deleted. Too many games to waste anymore time on it.
Cool, but $18?!
I enjoyed the free level, but it's not enough to know that spending CAD$18 on the full game would be worth it. That's pretty epic pricing. The demo needs to show some other slices of the game if you want that much money

this game is fun but it makes me angry. so often do I get to the final boss and then die. occasionally even dying after the final boss but before getting to the drop pod. i think touch controls has a lot to do with that. the demolisher in particular is super hard to control well on mobile with no controller. but still 5/5
Backbone support
Before the DLC had come out, my backbone was working just fine, now that it’s out the controls no longer work. Please work to add this to the game so I can enjoy using the Backbone again
Save?
Can you not save mid run to come back later? It’s largely too much of a commitment to have to play a whole round.
Decent gameplay loop - riddled with bugs
I’ve played since launch, somewhere in the range of 20hrs so far, and I’ve encountered bugs regularly. Most are not a big issue, small crashes. But 2-3 weeks ago I had nearly all my progress and skill levels wiped. Upon reporting that bug on discord - the team Responded once and never again. The bug affects two things: 1. Skill level progress got completely reset. 2. Upon trying to reallocate experience and materials to level up, if you tap too quickly it will reset the level to 1 and all expended points are forever lost. This bug caused roughly 8-10 hours of lost progress. At this point I’ll drop the game and come back when more variety is added and stability.
Great game
Bit of a grind. Can’t really target builds farm specific builds which is a bit of a let down. Would have been nice to have end game raid bosses or similar.
ROCK AND STONE!
Easily one of the best mobile ports I have ever played. Incredibly addicting. Runs flawlessly on my iPhone 15 Plus, battery drain is barely noticeable, can play for long sessions without any overheating.

I like this game - But
There are some pretty heavy crash bugs. They have patched some, but damn. Got stuck on menu when reopening the game from a backgrounded state. Killed my run Got stuck in the skill selection. Killed my run Got stuck on the loading screen crashing every time. Had to restart a full run And to top it off, if round reloads, most your character skills don’t save. Just to name a few. Game has potential, but the gimmicks ware out quick, depth is shallow, good fun, but needs some more content for sure. Kills battery life like a nothing else.
Great it’s finally on iOS except…
So I have this for the steam deck and love the game. Having said that, I won’t be paying $15 or $20 for a mobile game. Also don’t put “family sharing” when that’s false! Only way to buy this game is through in app purchase, which means won’t be able to “family share” anything!

Great game great graphics without a lot of microtransactions
A boring $10 walking sim. Pure repetition.
The original game is a great co-op shooter, but this is just a dull auto-shooter where the character attacks on his own and you just walk in circles. The gameplay is incredibly monotonous. The enemies are all the exact same, and the bestiary is cut to a bare minimum. Locations don't change, and the entire "content" is just endless grinding for small stat percentages. Absolutely not worth the money, a complete snooze fest. Not recommended.
Fun but overheat issues
I’ve got a lot of time on the PC version and this is fun for when I just want to lay in bed after work and just relax. But, it overheats my phone quite a lot.
terrible optimization, especially for the price
I’m a huge fan of Deep Rock Galactic, but I’ve been holding off on this particular, game because the survivor genre is oversaturated and I’ve already played a lot of games in it as it is. However, I decided that I would give this game a shot when it came to iOS. The game has terrible optimization. It lags frequently. There is no way this game is worth $15 in the current state. This is a huge disappointment coming from ghost ship games.

horrible bug reporting
you have to jump through hoops and than get responses like bot didn’t respond in time and their general chat isn’t very helpful they keep talking when asking for help and they don’t want you to dm them for help
Lok1 Smart Rifle bugged
I would give 5 stars but every single time I attempt the mastery level for the lok1 the game will crash without fail. The bullet trails will stop disappearing each time it fires and it’ll clog the screen enough to drop the framerate till the game crashes and I lose all progress.
Great game with issues
Game is fun but will randomly crash and delete completed objective progress.
Lost progress
Got to player level 9ish before all my progress disappeared. Tried all the recommended fixes, but no luck. Back up to player level 8, and I’ve completed the M1000 mission objective for Azure Weald 3 times now. Game keeps forgetting that it’s done. Fun game, but very frustrating to lose progress.

Been playing for a few months but the game is guaranteed to crash when trying to complete a stage of a weapon mastery. Will give 5 stars if that gets fixed. Also, add gear for pickaxes for either luck, radius, XP, health, etc

loosing progress and save , all the time . thats only BIG zproblem . fix this issue it’s so annoying I just tried to delete the app and download it again but now I have the other problem after I open the app is just freezing on the loading page It’s not loading the game on iPad Pro right now today is November 25, 2025. I hope the developers can fix this issue as soon as possible.
Almost Great
Love the game play and will enjoy this game immensely, unfortunately even after the update all my progress doesn’t save and gets deleted. I’m tired of starting over and completing the first stage, just to lose all progress and having to start again. I paid for the game as I really enjoy it, can’t wait for it to work properly. I found uninstalling and reinstalling helps kinda, but I’m still losing all my progress from runs and have to restart missions once I fail a go. Fix these and I’ll change my rating. On iPhone 17

Now I’m stuck in a biome mastery match at round 4 or 5 outta ten(can’t remember as the game crashes on any attempt to pass the mission) can’t play and can’t progress. Would rather have my money back. Garbage won’t even let me play.

Lost Progress

Rock and stone to the bone but…
Not working on my iPhone. Can’t even start tutorial. The loading progress bar constantly jumps between 80% and 87% and never stops jumping. Eventually ingame sounds might appear like something is happening there but the loading screen never disappears. Very sad. Played around 150hrs of original game in coop with my wife , one of the best coop experiences ever seen , but here, the devs clearly didn’t test thoroughly. Put yourself together team! 😉 Putting 3 stars in advance, will give more when the bug is fixed.
