Great but…
Love the series, love that it’s now multiplayer and pvp on top of that! But the pay to win is atrocious. If you’re playing fully free don’t even bother with the timed events, and good luck making past the snow and onward. You’ll be bombarded by pay to win hero’s who make you’re hero feel like you’re run of the mill grunt

Good game play but the free to play players have no chance to win the pay to win, chance to get a good cards and heros a so small and the event pvp to get good items always got match with the pay to win and the chance to win them is 0%
Sound
This game is very good but I wish I could turn down the sound I tried to listen to my music but not being able to turn the volume down is frustrating because it’s so loud I wish I could adjust the volume. Please make this happen. Otherwise your game is perfect. You’re doing a great job just please make it so I can change the sound. Thanks.

It’s just as good if not better than anything before it, it has all the cool towers…it’s amazing
A Mediocre Game that Could Be Great, but is Often Silly
The introduction of Lord Vez’nan is a real problem for the game. He’s too powerful and it’s made the game imbalanced. The vast majority of players now use him and it’s made the whole strategy uninteresting. The developers keep making the game less strategic rather than more strategic. It’s like they’re designing the game for 12 year olds. Once you build a good deck they change the formula with the next upgrade and it makes all your hard work for nothing.

Missed potential
I’ve played Kingdom Rush Battles for many hours, in anticipation for Kingdom Rush 6: Genesis. The bones are there for this type of game. Unfortunately, it suffers from exactly the same pitfalls that similar games have. It is pay to win, of course, and the only thing I recommend paying for is the season pass, since you get by far the most for your money. The winner is almost always going to be the player who has more legendary towers, heroes, and spells. The worst thing about it is that once you’ve advanced so far with the build that has all the legendary towers, you’re stuck playing that ONE specific build forever, unless you want to lose every single match going forward. For example, Vez’nan is the most powerful hero by FAR, and I have gotten very high ranked. BUT, my favorite hero is Dierdre, but I can no longer play as her or any other hero unless I want to lose each match immediately. Basically, there’s a missed opportunity to just make ALL towers, heroes, and spells legendary by giving a paid option for EVERYTHING to “upgrade to legendary”, so that there’s immense build variety. It made for a fun 10 hours or so of play time, after that, you’re stuck playing the same build over and over again unless you find losing fun.
Matchmaking Terrible
The matchmaking in this game is terrible. You will constantly play against guaranteed losses without a chance. Very frustrating. If you aren’t going to nerf some of the Legendary characters, don’t match them with non-legendary decks. More balance is needed.

I’ve been playing this game for a long time now. What used to be a really fun game where strategy and placement mattered has turned into a pay to win game. Since introducing their “seasons pass” which is monthly and costs $34.99 you get a premium character or tower. These towers or characters are OP. Now when you go up against people with these towers, which is pretty much every single person you’re guaranteed to lose. Such a shame as I have been playing for so many years even before they made these games into PVP, way back when it was just KR, frontier or origins.

I’ve been playing a lot for about 6 months and this game is frustrating unless you spend big money. I just upgraded two towers and paid $19 to upgrade a third, and guess what…. The upgrades didn’t translate to anything. So far today I’ve lost 7 out of 9 games to vastly superior opponents. They’ve each had towers I can’t get and the advantage they have is huge. I’m sick of it.

Cash grab… wasted potential
The game is very well-designed like its predecessors… is what I WOULD say if they didn’t make it so that paying money just makes you overwhelmingly better than everyone else. Whenever I see someone with Vez’nan or some other insane hero, I just close the app because I know I’d be wasting my time by playing the game. It’s unfortunate that capitalism plagues even the best of games like Kingdom Rush. How far it has fallen.

I love how the game incorporate the KR universe into a PVP game, very inmersive and super fun. I know the game uses the same interface from a Very popular game, but flows smooth. Recommended

Pay to win unfortunately
I have been a die hard fan of kingdom rush since they first started. I love their games but as a f2p player this game is not it. There really isn’t a point in playing when someone can just buy the stronger hero’s and towers. You need gold to upgrade the towers and hero’s but you barely get any if you win and you get even less when you lose. Yes it’s fun in the beginning when everyone else is low level but if you’re not going to spend money you’re really going to suffer as you progress.

Unfortunately it’s a pay to win game. No much chance for the free to play people. If you pay to get the dragons and the best towers you win easily especially in the high leagues. I wish it could be more balanced.

Very pricey
It’s not much of a strategy game if you won’t spend $50 every time you need a legendary hero card. It’s possible to play the game on the first tier, but when you reach the second tier, 90% of the players are paid to play and you cannot beat A Legend boss with an epic or any of the endgame bosses without buying the $50 legendaries. It’s not that you’re not a good player. It’s that the Legend Hero’s are 3xs stronger.

This is a very good tower defense game that keeps you entertained with fun mechanics and enemies however the majority of the heroes and towers that can be purchased with real money are way to overpowered, to the point of almost guaranteeing a win for whoever has it

Game would be great if it wasn’t so pay to win. Don’t even have a good chance at getting any towers purple rarity or higher as free to play either. You’ll try and play onslaught for scrolls and then get matched against people with legendary heroes and purple towers that are just considerably better than what you own even at similar levels.

Skill Matters Less Than Spending
This game is fantastic it’s fun, addictive, and easy to keep coming back to. However, the biggest issue is how heavily pay-to-win it feels. As a free-to-play player, it often seems like skill takes a back seat to spending. Even if I were to spend some money, it feels like the player who spends more will almost always have the advantage. In many matches, it can feel less like you’re being outplayed and more like you’re facing opponents with overwhelming paid advantages. Some of the legendary items and abilities feel significantly stronger than anything available to players who don’t spend much money. Boneheart Wyverns are relentless, Phoenix Purification can eliminate heroes with ease, and Solar Blast combined with certain heroes can be incredibly difficult to deal with, just to name a few examples. There often doesn’t seem to be a realistic counter for free-to-play or low-spending players. I understand that the developers need to generate revenue, and I don’t expect everything to be free. At the end of the day, the game is free to play, so I can’t complain too much. Still, it would be great to see more balance between paying and non-paying players so that strategy, skill, and team composition have a larger impact on the outcome of battles.

Events are stressful
Too many bots ruining the experience for me—in event battles you’re mostly matched against unbeatable dragon heroes with legendary deck. Making it impossible to get any special towers or heroes, without spending real cash for summon scrolls. You can do better Ironhide !!!!
