Is a very good game but not worth the 7 bucks maybe 5.
Many issues
Could be a great game but many issues : - no sync across device (iphone <-> ipad) and even no cloud save while activated. On a new install you start from scratch. - the ‘no restart’ bonus is not activated if you don’t make a run in one go (13 rounds) - the real no go : you can win easily on 12/13 rounds and the final one (the boss) is impossible to win with your current build. You need to start from scratch just designing your build for that last round. Bad game design
Fun game broken by update
I loved this game and played obsessively. But the last update has broken it. Now it just flashes on my iPad and doesn’t get past the loading screen.
Excellent game
Really fun game. I don’t usually purchase mobile apps, but I’m happy I bought this one. Worth it IMHO. Keeps me entertained. You have to think carefully about your perks. Enough of a challenge to make it fun and with just a little bit of good frustration so that you feel good when you beat a wave / level. Excellent job dev team!
i don’t recommend
the trial went great and i liked the game. But then i bought the game and it wont let me go into it and just says loading. i’ve left it open for 20 min while it stayed on that same screen. i dont know if this is just for me or others as well, but it took my money and i cant even play it.
Amazing game but would be nice if I can play across devices
Great game ton of fun. But I wish my game progres would be saved across my devices. Would be nice to be able to play on either my phone or iPad and pick up wherever I left off. This would make it S tier. But I’d give it a solid A

Autosave message won’t disappear on Mac M3, restarted, now no sound, then an ad autoplayed on a loop in the background… will give this a miss just now
Addicting, great graphics, runs super smoothly
Had it on my wishlist on steam forever & decided to get the demo on my ipad mini. Bought the game a day later on here. Surprised how well I like it on my ipad. I love the graphics & mechanics.
Overpriced - Do NOT Buy
Bought this game when bored at work; the intro got me hooked. It was buggy and wouldn’t save—I had to replay three levels. Play throughs got repetitive quick. No clue why anyone would pay the $12.99 let alone the $10 discount price I was offered. Feel ripped off if I’m being honest.
Fun game
It’s a fun game. I really enjoyed the challenge each level offers. It was interesting getting to explore different builds of perks and weapons. I just wish there were more levels. A lot of the levels also feel very similar.

Whenever I downloaded this, I thought oh well this is gonna be a fun game but then whenever I saw that it was $13 for like the whole entire game. I deleted it. I just think it’s very stupid in my opinion.
Amazing game - no cloud save
Thronefall is an amazing strategy game and works and plays very well on mobile. But the fact that a $10+ game doesn’t have cloud save support is pretty mind boggling.
It’s demo, not the game
It’s just a demo. To play you have to buy it. Don’t waste your time by downloading.

Excellent Job Well Done.
To say that this is a simple frontier medieval settlement simulation is an understatement. The simplicity in its HUD and control style enables smooth gameplay and quick interactions with gradual skill trees and constant start projections. Right on dudes and dudettes rock on!
Free Game locked behind pay wall
They trick you with the free tag in the App Store, then require you to pay for access to the game and only let you play a tutorial until you pay for it, less than 5 minutes of gameplay for that free tag
Decent game
I enjoy the game but $12 is kind of a lot for a mobile game but besides that I enjoy it a lot it was originally a pc game though so thats where the price came from if anyone is wondering about why its 12 dollars

Exactly whats advertised but...
Its a fun game, it has TONS of levels so it basically endless. You can even play it before you buy to see whats its like! But I dont know if this is the games problem, or mine: i cant resize it to be smaller, and when i try to exit i have to do a bunch of stuff and with the game own mouse, (cool) it kinda laggy and when some thing like a notification pops up, my mouse goes behind it and i cant click it.

This is exactly like what im used to on pc. One of the best indie games of the decade, and well worth the money.

Paid 10$ and can’t even load the game. Same issue with the autosave overlay. Would do 5* otherwise it’s a fun game
Very fun and maybe just worth the $15 dollars
This game is super fun ever since I got on it. I can’t get off from playing the trial but you have to buy the full game at the third level which each level is around 10 to 15 minutes so far and to buy the full game it’s $10 when I bought it for five, but I do enjoy one time purchases and no ads or game purchases And so now that I own it

iCloud Save Please
Nice game! I would give the game 5 stars with the addition of iCloud save so games could be played across devices - Mac, iPad, and iPhone.

Can’t Play - Auto Save issue
Would do 5 stars but can’t proceed. Please fix. iPhone 16 Pro; iOS 26.5. Takes a long time to load and when traversing the map the auto save translucent overlay prevents me from starting next level.

Great game but it is just too hard. I can’t get past the first level. And the full game should be free.

The negative reviews for this game are depressing and show why you can’t trust ratings anymore. If you can’t afford $12, go play the endless supply of free games that try to endlessly micro-transaction you and don’t disparage rare quality games on ios. Thronefall is the game that many online ads you see blatantly ripped off. A TD game with a mix of rts, very well done and free of ads and slot machine mechanics.

Lags and not clear
The game does not react on my 16 pro and it’s not obvious how to play the game. I was to complete 3 melee defences but no indication how to do it ??
Lacks cloud saves, a massive issue at this time.
Gave the game a try after seeing it on sale on Steam. But figured, why get it on Steam when I can get the App Store version for my Mac and iPhone, allowing me to play at home and on the go? Sadly, that idea doesn’t work since the game doesn’t support cloud saves. Such a basic, essential feature, and lacking it ruins the game for me. But, as others noted, the game is otherwise as advertised. A full game with one purchase, no P2W, not fake/AI. It has potential, just needs cloud saves for cross device play.

Great game but technical issues
I really enjoy playing the game but face different issues. The extra levels with 9 stars don’t update or save when I complete them, so the stars are not shown but I am shown in ranking and in level Durststein I get no gold. I build a mine - no gold, I build houses - some produce no gold. So I pass a level and get sometimes only 1 or 2 gold in Durststein
Fun but too expensive
Well made and fun to play but the price was 8.99 which I thought was too much as there doesn’t appear to be many levels. When coming to leave this review I see the price went up to 12.99. I’d pay 4.99 at best, the price has let it down and will stop it becoming more popular in my opinion. Needs more levels to justify the price

No Need To Pay
I played this as a try before you buy, because I was seriously considering getting it. Let me tell you myself that this game is AMAZING as a free one, but to unlock the full game (Versus mode, infinite mode, more levels etc:) you have to pay around £11.99! Very expensive for mobile. If you really want to buy it, just get it on steam, for 1 pound cheaper. So, Mobile: approx £11.99 Steam: approx £10.99 Overall it’s a great free to play, and it’s worth it on steam, but not on mobile. Thx For the devs: Thank you for this amazing game, I loved it, im just sad it was so short lived.

Das Spiel hat im Tutorial und in den ersten beiden Level Spass gemacht. Nachdem man dann 10€ gezahlt hat wurde es so schwer, das man nicht weiter kommt. Der Spielspaß ist dann vorbei
