THIS GAME IS AMAZING! I can’t believe I just stumbled upon this masterpiece. For fans of Slay the Spire, Balatro, D&D, roguelikes in general, this is an incredible game with a ton of customization and replayability. No ads either. Just pure creative passionate game dev on display.
bug
i hate my current strata party, when i die, quit and start new normal game its the same party. when i manually quit and start new normal game its same party. when i start a new easy/hard run, quit, and go back to normal new run its always stuck note on the same identical strata party. same when restarting game. ruining my enjoyment over this bug, how do i fix it
Great loop!!
Love the loop that this game creates. I take the public transit so perfect short adventures. Only issue is I listen to Spotify and there’s def an audio issue when playing and streaming. I did disable audio but no dice haha
Awful UI
It’s a cool idea but it’s hindered by things not being adequately communicated and things are confused For instance if you hold down on an enemy they will show who they're attacking but the lines are different colours, why are they different colours, the colours are for the class of hero, does it make a difference? It might do but it’s not communicated, I don’t know if they lack all sense of UX in one way or lack it in another You’re rolling dice and the tutorial is in the way? Well you can close it but oops it seems to prefer tapping dice over the x and now you’ve got a dud die, now it would be dumb if the game didn’t let you put the die back… oh wait when you tap it you’re stuck with it. Well if you were to tap the x on the tutorial to see the die underneath you’ll find an option to close it, close it for good, and close it, hmm that feels familiar The developer should hire a UX person to overhaul the game. The game itself is neat, it’s new, I like the item system, I like the classes, I like the possible rolls, I just really really hate the UI and it’s stopping me from wanting to play again The game is free to try, so do give it a go, just hope that in the future the UI is fixed and it doesn’t make you think “ah they went with pixel graphics because they thought it would be the easiest option”
Cant Go Fullscreen
Game is fun, but it won’t go fullscreen, im stuck with black bars on the side on my ipad

Ich habe das spiel probiert zu spielen oder wollte es zumindest, doch als ich es geöffnet habe hat es sich automatisch geschlossen es funktioniert nicht !!!
Great game with little replay value
To preface, I’ve only played the free version. The gameplay is great. It’s simple but fun turn-based mechanics are well thought out and the enemies do pose a challenge. The randomness of your heroes and having to play around their strengths and weaknesses is very well implemented. My favorite part of the game is that you really have to think when making any move in the game. The strategy and stakes complement each other well. My only gripe is that I don’t think there’s much replay value. If you like a game for simply the gameplay, in this case you’ll keep doing an endless replay of the same dungeons with no story or progression other than starting a new dungeon run, then you’d probably think this game is perfect. I wish there was more. Although I will probably keep this game downloaded for the near future in case I want to do a single dungeon just to pass the time, I don’t think I will want to play past one dungeon as the game doesn’t offer much beyond dungeon runs with a bit of randomness on what heroes, enemies, and items you get.
Very odd pricing
Found this game after it received high praise on QT3 forum and I saw it had just been released on steam and iOS. First thing I noticed was this game is MORE expensive on iOS than it is on steam. Why??? Second thing I noticed, the dice animation is very stuttered and overall the interface feels pretty bad. I really suggest you consider offering this game at a lower price on iOS as is the standard. Aside from that, it’s nice to be able to play a free demo of the game. But honestly it feels quite unpolished.
Great game
The characters could use some balancing. There are too many characters that are trash. Don't nerf any characters but buff the ones who need it. There are many red characters that are terrible.
Best game ever
I never write reviews but wow, this is the best game I’ve ever played. I play it every night before I go to sleep for usually 30-60 minutes. I must have over 100 hours in a few months and I still discover new stuff.

weird audio bug
when playing any outside audio either music or a youtube video doesnt matter, the audio gets super glitchy. i know its tied to this app because as soon as i leave the app the audio is restored. very strange, please fix bc this game is genuinely fun
Seems ok
Easy / fast entry without the trappings of narrative but lower desire to continue due to that. Feels like the game is a puzzle game only after you RNG a starting arrangement that works.

Audio Garbage
When you try and listen to anything else while playing the game it distorts the audio so it’s unlistenable. Ruins the game for me.

I am colorblind. There is one single colorblind option in the settings and it states “colorblind poison” I found this to be laughable. The idea that the only color mechanic in the entire game is the Fing poison is just ridiculous. So much of this game relies on color, and I find myself having to long hold to know which dice I rolled, having absolutely no idea what the lineup screens are insinuating- since I can’t distinguish the color well, and not knowing what player to play a item on if it is a color specific item! I just find it absurd that colorblind people were in fact thought about, yet there was barely anything that was made accessible, literally such a small part of the game was changed! This game requires an entire colorblind hue filter! Other than that though I genuinely love this game! It’s fun and I bought the expansion. There is so much content and I absolutely love rougelikes! I hope that this may help make this game more accessible to me in the future, (even if it’s as simple as differentiating classes with a symbol along with the color) because the color systems are very annoying for me to have to deal with. Thanks!
Good game, frustrating audio bug
I’ve enjoyed this game a lot so far and really want to play it more, but I can’t even listen to the audio via Bluetooth without it becoming choppy and distorted before totally cutting out. This affects any audio on the phone like music or podcasts and not on this app. Closing the app resolves the issue. It seems like this has been going on for a long time now, please fix it dev team!! And I’ll happily revise/update this.
Brilliant
This game is so simple, yet so well thought out and complex in ways I haven’t fully discovered yet. I thought it would get boring after awhile but somehow it still engaged. I don’t regret buying the full copy. If you like the free version, you won’t regret getting the full version.

和运营关系不大，纯粹是运气游戏，而且计算期望值的意义不大，因为关键时刻经常出现你需要的组合没法出现的情况。而且游戏没有设置撤销战斗，导致你辛苦玩了一个小时的档仅仅因为运气问题就死掉了。用俗话说，这游戏就是金盆子装屎，外表很华丽，内核很空洞。
It’s decent but..
The game is great and scratches most of the check marks for me and it’s one of the few games you pay for on the App Store and there’s no hidden fees or pay to win proprieties. My issue is starting out is unforgiving and it can be a bit of a skill gap starting out. I’m still giving it a go but it’s not really balanced at times and you are at the mercy of RNG even on the easiest difficulty

Finde das Game sehr gut und es macht auch viel Spaß. Eben eine gute Casual App ohne Progress Zwang. Hab dann die Vollversion gekauft, aber bin ziemlich enttäuscht. 10€ für gleiches Gameplay nur ein paar Modi mehr? Fühlt sich nicht worth an. Sehr viel wurde von dem Core Gameplay recycled, was man ohne hin schon for free spielen kann. Ich hätte mir sowas wie Missionen gewünscht oder bisschen Story vielleicht, wo man perks freischaltet oder seinen Progress behält. Daher NOCH keine Kaufempfehlung. Aber kann ja noch werden!
Timeless Time Waster
Played the game for a year doing nothing but classic hard mode runs because I never paid for the full game. Eventually I did and now I'm still coming back to it about 5 years later. The free version alone is a great game but becomes an instant classic once you experience the longer runs, challenging gamemodes, built-in text modding, and difficulty/mode specific leaderboards pushing you to grind out each one.

Fun free trial, too much for full game
I love this game, it’s genially fun to play. I enjoyed the free trial, but 8 dollars for the full game is too much. I’d pay 5 at most for the full game. For 8 bucks there are other games that offer more, if the price ever does go down I’d gladly buy it. If you play it and you’re okay with the full price then I’d 100% recommend it.

A true gem
A game like this comes once a generation. It’s fun, it has no ads, no microtransactions, no internet connection needed, it doesn’t even collect your data! I’ve put a ton of hours in this game, and it’s my true go-to. It also helped me curb my social media addiction, because now if I’m reaching for my phone I’m reaching to play Slice n Dice. Play the demo, have some fun, and then buy the thing, because it’s worth every penny, and I think we should always rewards devs like this. Hopefully it’ll inspire others to follow in his footsteps and create such an amazing project!

Audio Bug
I have put more hours into this game than into any other game on my phone. Super addicting and so many modes and mods that completely change things up. But this audio issue needs to be fixed. I like to listen to music when I play but it's impossible now. The audio gets completely messed up

Jeux très cool pour quelques petites heures. Le temps de battre le mode principal. Les modes et héros débloqués par l’achat du jeux complet sont très étranges. Ne vaut pas 10€ mais 5 plutôt.
Over 500 games played
This is the perfect game in my opinion. No WiFi, so I use it literally ANY time I need to pass time. On an airplane, at work, long road trips, etc. There is enough uniqueness in every game that it seems unlikely you’ll have similar outcomes.

Please fix the audio bug!!! It’s so incredibly frustrating that I can’t play this while listening to anything else.
Phenomenal Depth & High Skill Ceiling
When you first open the game you might think to yourself that it looks sort of janky or dated. You might expect something a bit barebones because of that thought. However if you ignore those preconceptions and jump in ready to take the game seriously it will surprise you with layers of depth, countless quality of life features that you wished other games had, and more than enough content to justify the price of the full game. There’s a lot of love underneath the hood here. My favorite part of this game isn’t even the gameplay itself, it’s the maze-like jungle of a pause-screen. Weird right? Go into what you expect to be a simple settings menu and you’ll find expansive glossaries that are genuinely useful to advancing through the game at any given point during a run. You’ll find every single component and mechanic of the game either listed, or outline in depth. You’ll find a really neat Jukebox feature with a decent library of neat background music. You can tinker with that jukebox to set whatever atmospheric vibe you’re looking for in that moment. You’ll also notice that there’s a ton of content you aren’t able to see yet, because you haven’t unlocked it. There are TONS of things to unlock. Hundreds of items, dozens of unique classes all with their own unique evolution/upgrade trees, like 20 different game modes that genuinely differ from one to the next; the list goes on and on. Hell, you can even unlock settings themselves; features that let you play and tinker with almost every aspect of the game. You can essentially go on to create your own game modes, tailor the game for fun or for challenge. The developers of this game really put their hearts into this and it shows more and more as you play. I’m not even close to running out of things to list off here, but I’ll stop because this review became accidentally massive. This isn’t my favorite game ever. It’s not even one of my favorite games ever. Still, I’m having a ton of fun playing it. Even if I hated it on a personal level I wouldn’t regret the money I spent because I’m more than happy to throw a developer like this a bone.
