Art style change is awful
They totally revamped the art style and a lot of the gameplay away from what it was. It really feels terrible and ugly now and it’s lost all charm to it!

As far as mobile games go, not too bad. Pretty lacking in terms of gameplay, though, but I understand that it's to be expected from the idle genre. Good to pass the time.

Forced Ads
Basic gameplay functions locked behind forced ads, not just rewards. Very annoying to play and have ads forced every 3 minutes. Disappointing because the game is well designed, but terrible monetization model.

Basically the game is neat and all but if I’m on my phone listening to music or listening to youtube, this game will auto stop whatever im listening to and since its an idle game I like background noise to keep myself from being too bored Unfortunately since this game force pauses background audio I can’t fully enjoy this game when not at home. Hopefully this changes in the future.

Charm glitch
There is a glitch where when you want to change a stat on charms while maintaining the same tier it does not let you select which attribute you want to change.
Surprisingly Strategic!
This game is one of those games you see in an ad for me, it kept popping up and I figured I’d give it a shot. Have not missed my daily quests yet and it’s been over 2 months. Each character has its own unique builds, and as they get higher level you can specialize them even more. My favorite mode is Adventure, because each character in the game is given synergy points to build a lineup for that mode. So it’s a whole OTHER layer of strategy besides the usual positioning and skills and gear! And the daily quests literally take all of 5 minutes. OH! And they give out free codes every week on their discord!

Forced Ads
This game is really fun, however if you don’t have a legendary hero you will not do well in the arena. A level 20 legendary hero can solo an entire team of common/uncommon level 30s. Kind of unfair and pay to win-esque. After awhile you also get forced ads during story missions. For these two negatives I am removing a star each.
No forced ads
I really appreciate that this game is not interrupted every 30 seconds by a forced ad.
Community is terrible
The games enjoyable, dev has been making decent new updates and been patching bugs. However he has completely neglected the community. The main community is on the official discord for the game, where 2 people have permissions. One being the developer and the other being one of the developers old guildmates. Time and time again the ex-guildmate has banned/muted members of other guilds for disagreeing with his opinions and sometimes without giving a reason at all. The Dev just completely ignores this and lets the tyrant do whatever he likes. Sad to see good game get ruined by one power hungry individual who runs 8 different guilds in game. Wouldnt recommend joining the discord if you do play the game.
Grindy but Solid
So far so good on the F2P but at the end of the day no app game is free from pay to win. Minimal to no complaints.
Can’t escape PVP
I hate multiplayer games. I don’t want anything to do with other people. I avoid it at all cost, but I can’t escape PVP by pushing “adventure” button one time not even knowing what it was. I’ve fought a whole bunch of battles and I’ve touched every square inch of the screen, hoping maybe the button is hidden to get away from it. I’ve tried resetting the app closing it. It opens back into PVP.

This game is really fun! It takes some time to build units up and learn proper strategies for clearing story / bosses, but there’s a great community on Reddit and people are very helpful and kind to new players. Only downside is there’s no auto battling unless you pay $7 a month, so I just don’t do those events since they’re so time consuming without spending money.

Confusing
So I want to like this game because idle game x pixel adventure is right up my alley. But man is it unnecessarily complicated. There didn’t seem to be a proper tutorial and you’re just dropped in. I played for maybe an hour before giving into frustration. Why are there so may in game currencies? What do they do? Why should I care about this chest with the timer? How come I can never figure out how to get back to leveling up my characters? The game has a ton of promise but needs to be simplified and include a proper tutorial

Awesome
Awesome game so far, love the art, and character progression. PvP, story missions, survival challenges, and idle collection are all great ways to keep yourself busy within the game. If the game had some kinda of playable mini game though and maybe some boss dungeons, it would be a 5 star for me! But what do I know, it’s still fun! Worth the download :)
Wasted potential
The game could have been fun but currently , without paying, the game is a waste of time. As every character is rng gacha you can get stuck without even a low rarity healer. Rerolling the Arena opponents uses the same points as you are trying to get from it so it feels awful. Without paying monthly using your daily energy to farm the same level hundreds of times is absolute tedium. Stay clear until this game is more f2p friendly
Good game and a lot of potential
This game is really great from art style to idea a lot of potential but UI is so bad, getting in to the raids and fights are structured on messy UI, accessibility and ease of use absinthe like; which heroes in my party no indicators in game, items can not be copied and transferred to other loadouts such as (arena to main) etc. please these are easy fixes. Also game really need new content like events or something

Fun, but once you play more, you realize that you need to become VIP (paid) to really enjoy the game. if only they would offer "skip battles" for free F2P, this would be minimum 4 stars.
Having a difficult time finding things (NEW UI)
So I enjoy the game and it feels a lot more open.. maybe a bit too open now. I enjoy the better graphics but finding things is a pain now. Especially with no new tutorial for all players or even just a help option to navigate the new UI for older players who played before the update. Needless to say I’d say give this game a chance because it’s fun! I hope they do something to either help get people used to the UI or make the map a little smaller (not like how it used to be tho) Love the game!
