It’s not the best ever I don’t think BUT it’s the most fun y’all I have so much fun with every iteration of builds and heroes
Dificulty spike
After the last update, they made the mobs move faster. This change makes the normal levels feel like your playing in Challenge Mode

Standard money-drain
Played for a few hours, until I ran out of energy, which should tell you all you need to know. I'm sure there's a game in here somewhere, but it's buried beneath a thousand ways to pay and a thousand "rewards" to collect. I spent more time jumping from menu to menu to collect "rewards" than I did actually playing the game. This is nothing more than "invest your time so you'll feel increasingly compelled to invest your money". But, there's nothing actually rewarding in this game. If you've ever played and enjoyed a real TD game, you will quickly find this to just be tedious money-bait full of flashing lights and hollow mechanics.
Fun but bugs
I’ve put a lot of time into this game and it’s fun but after last update on later levels it won’t allow you to level up after like level 6. The experience bar will be full and show you leveling up but not giving you the option to upgrade. Making it impossible to win. Terrible bug needs to be fixed for better review.
The best game for me
So I have ADHD and it soothe my brain so much like the way it has you have to click and click to get more allies and I use fidgets but the clicking has been the best
They scam with their purchases
I bought a ten dollar pack of gear and because i had the basic common version of some of the gesr they straight up just didnt give me the max gear😭 dont spend any money on it its fun besides that

In survival mode boss does not spawn :( I have finished all phases once and this bug happenes
Beware of the shop
Spend gems to get the x10 chest and only receive 8. Plus throwing all the ‘buy this’ stuff in your face right when you open the game. No thanks!
Massive Paywall
At lvl 25 you hit a huge and massive paywall , which is impossible to overcome . If you plan to F2P, this game is not for you. Overall the game is fine and fun, but paywall makes it kind of nah.
Great game
My only request would be for there to be a resume function on missions since if I’m off the game for a few minutes after being in the middle of a game all progress is lost for last mission

I uninstalled this game immediately after seeing the LGBT flag forced into it. I download games to play and have fun, not to have political and social agendas shoved down my throat. Keep this stuff out of games. Absolute trash, uninstalled and never downloading anything from this developer again.
Alright
The game is pretty decent. The level of difficulty is pretty manageable in most cases. The problem for me though is that once I reached the beach the merman mini-boss was just straight up immortal. He clearly wasn’t but the health he has is on par with that of actual bosses. What’s even more annoying is that he has an insane amount of range; which is made worse by the fact that the beach levels are tight because of the water. This makes it easier for him to reach them because of the limited space you have to place buildings in. The other thing that mildly infuriating is that for some reason I can place buildings on sand, but not on streets, and the occasional off limit grass. The skill tree is fine overall, but the damage boost just seems like it wouldn’t help seeing as to how very little it boosts it by. The last thing is just the accessibility of some things such as books and pets, which you get by being a certain level. I’m already close to unlocking books, but I wish the level for it would have been a little lower. Overall, it’s still a nice game to pass the time with.👍
Ugh!
Although there are a trillion games like this, I was actually having fun with this one. I spent a little money and didn’t mind. BUT then I found out the speed boost I PAID for was not permanent, it only lasts for 24 hours. Absolutely ridiculous, uninstalled.
Honest review by real person
Wish you could choose a card or multiple cards before battle. Would make the game more enjoyable. Instead it feels like you are playing a game of chance with what couple of cards you get first, that may not even be beneficial to win the level and proceed to the next
AMAZING GAME PLAY
This game is so good, I hope the developers never quit. It has so many things to level up, and never ending maps and enemies!
Now with more Ads!
Was enjoying this game for the last few weeks. Updated today April 27 with more ads. Previously was able to refresh tower selection with Gems but it is now an ad. That’ll probably do it for me.
Getting better
Once forced ads introduced I left a 2 star review. Since they were removed, I’m re-amending my review to a 4 star review. I’ve since purchased the “no ads” upgrade to support the devs and get the bonus content like gems and keys without ads which is definitely great, and I’ve gone back to being a daily player again. The current thing I take issue with is the amount of time it takes to “claim everything” when logging on. Please add a perma upgrade (eg for £4.99) to get a “claim everything” button. It can claim ALL night XP, claim all “free” things like the free book, free pet, etc and essentially remove all the “unread markers” from the menus to auto get everything. Currently gameplay loop has turned into 5 minutes of navigating screens to claim all the diffferent things before I can actually hope into a game. (Maybe a toggle to “auto upgrade” everything too which would auto do any upgrades on clothes, books, merges, characters, pets etc). Just so i can spend more time playing the main game. These two changes would make me amend my review to a 5 star review as it is genuinely a fun and satisfying game to play. Thanks for listening.
Constant crashes
Game is good with good potential, but you can’t slide out the game for 10 seconds without coming back to a frozen game that crashes.
Was 4 stars soon to be 2
Game has a lot of versatility for a tower defense game. It looses rating due to the simple fact of how quickly you stall out into grinding for progression AND the fact that there’s multiple punkos but acquiring them is limited to in app purchases. The devs may claim you can obtain fragments through various means; the games been on my phone for well over a year and the main punko is only a 2 star to give you an idea.
Good game
I’ve been playing for a few weeks now and loving the game. Might sound weird but I LOVE the soundtrack, I’d love to get more variety tho. Also more weapons n gears would be nice!
Stale updates
Every update seems to be stale and filled with bugs. It seems as if the devs are more focused on monetizing and ripping features from other games rather than having their core game functional. I see very few original ideas and more features that are directly copied from other similar games. Not to mention their monetization is a joke. Very few rewards for great amounts of money. Their monthly games are being reused with low tier rewards as a new game. It’s very disappointing to see such a fun game go down the pay 2 win rabbit hole.

I seem to be stuck at level 100. It won’t let me reach 101 to get the last of the rewards
Energy Systems 👎
Azur Interactive Backpack Brawl is the gold standard for FTP mobile gaming. An energy system actively disincentives players playing for extended periods of time. I’ll spend several hours playing Backpack Brawl, which I won’t be doing with this game. The rogue-like level ups can be the revenue source, not the act of merely playing the game. Don’t get this game…just play Backpack Brawl, it’s real fun
Fun game, insane micro transactions
The game itself is pretty fun. A tower defense style with upgrades and waves of enemies. There have been some bugs but they seem to have stopped for me. My main gripe with this game is the insane amount of micro transactions. You can buy characters, gems, gold, combo packages, monthly deals, no more ads, 2x game speed, etc. There’s no end to the amount of monetized items in this game. On top of that the prices are astronomical. For a mobile game to charge $25 for ONE character is ridiculous. This isn’t a triple A game, this isn’t a console, pc or an award winning game. It’s a mobile game. It shows what greed does to these developers. I won’t lie, I’ve purchased some things, but I won’t be purchasing anything else. These mobile developers only see dollar signs from their player base and milk them for everything they can with no remorse. Obviously it’s all a chose, but so much progress is stuck behind a pay wall. Again, the game itself is fun so it’s worth trying, but unless you’re willing to give these developers your money, you may not last long.
2x Speed
Please tell me why we are charging payment subscriptions to play this game a 2 times the speed. That’s insane, most TD games give it for free or do a one time charge. But yall are charging an outrageous amount, im certainly not spending $10 a month. Please please please stop being greedy

Could you please fix how the game closes if you have it paused to long please ? Otherwise I’d give it 5 stars.
Force closing
Sometimes will force close mid round and I can’t even resume game when starting the app back up. Wasted time and energy points. Fix please

For some reason everytime I try to purchase something, and it shows to double tap power button to purchase. It instantly cancels on first tap and says failed. Not sure what’s going on. I’ve closed the app and tried again. Not working
My favorite tower defense game
Great strategy aspect and plenty of achievements to keep you engaged. Developers are fantastic and deserve the aggregate high rating you see. Update: developers continue to fine tune the game for smooth play, balance, and overall enjoyment. They respond quickly and earnestly to feedback. The addition of mini games is my current favorite part. This remains the best TD game I’ve played.
Pets feel bad. Lack of transparency for what upgrades do.
Leaving bug reports here; will remove if it seems like they are fixed. Car bosses can stop outside the screen, where none of your punkos will attack it. Soft locks you if you don’t have a projectile spell. If you open a chest right before the level ends, it doesn’t save the gold. If you are placing a tower right before you would die and the extra life triggers, you get no mana and no tower. Real vending machine ate my quarter moment. If you get multiple of the extra draft bonus from a treasure chest, it will keep only the higher value. (Draft +3 and draft +4 gets you only 4). Level 60 evolution bonus does nothing according to the rof visible on the anvil screen - there should be a 25% bonus and there isn’t. Similarly, Lopez’s level 40 bonus says 10% rof increase and is only 5%. I think this is actually an issue with character bonuses of the same type not stacking? Jack’s 15% also added 5, Razor’s 15% did nothing. Would have been nice to know before leveling Razor up. :( The bug here is lack of transparency. Okay no it’s not stacking?? Blaze’s 5% attack boost is the first attack boost I got and it did nothing. Some of these just don’t actually work and it’s not clear why. :( I got all the punkos and I want to get Zim but not knowing what works and what doesn’t is putting me off. I don’t want to buy it and then it just doesn’t work. Respec-ing pets should not cost gems. Or at least let us get the crystals back. I want to test out different pets like I can with armor. It just makes most of the pets useless. I’m never spending gems on eggs because 7/8 chance it’s one of the ones I don’t use, and there’s no way to use the others as merge material, so they are genuinely worthless. They also take soooo long to open, which is frustrating because I know immediately based on the type whether I need it or not.

After around the 3rd world gets done it’ll start to force you to watch minute long ads before you start any level, and that for me just ruined the whole thing, I’m fine to watch ads for rewards anytime but don’t force them on me to just play the damm game… So gonna be dropping it fully as it’s not good enough to warrant a minute long ad for every level…
Was a great game. Now basic features behind paywall.
As the title suggests this was an excellent game to start with. Since then they’ve monetized simple features that were once just part of the time (example, 2x fast forward during games). Bummer how this always happens to mobile games.

I really enjoy the gameplay of this game and although I am not that far into the game there so far have been no ads which is a very rare find in games so I’m very happy with this game so far

Wont open
Just downloaded the game yesterday. Was able to play one game before it crashed and now gets stuck at the loading screen. Checked in the discord server and looks to only be an IOS issue. Hopefully this will get fixed soon

Best TD since PVZ
The game is from a small indie dev group that has enjoyed steady updates to the UI, roster, towers, and ways to grow to progress. In-App purchases are not required to grow, but are pretty fair like the no ads forever pack. Even still, you can play this game without ever buying something. The artwork is colorful, and the game balance rewards different experimentation with gear sets and tower combinations. Best of all, there is no PVP or Guild stuff weighing down the P2P powercreep. While I have purchased packs, I do so to support the dev team. They are friendly and active in discord. They also implement suggestions from players. Try this game, join discord, and enjoy.

Honestly I really enjoyable game, it’s designed to be challenging but not challenging enough that it forces you to spend money. However the only downside is that once you’ve played it for more then 2 weeks or so it’s forces ads before and after level.

Great game to play around Halloween
2 things. It would be cool to have events like Halloween and Christmas. And please never ad pop up ads or pop ups for in game purchases and the game will stay good.
Used To Be Good
This game was a pretty solid little game, but after the last update, they added forced ads that didn’t exist before. If you’re ok with that then by all means, try it out. I however, will not be continuing.
