I love this bank and app. Updates are almost immediate, I can track all my accounts, alert settings add security to my accounts
App update
Why push an update and require people to be on a certain operating system to use? Open the app; and it forces you to update. Now the app is unusable and I gotta transfer banks🤦🏽♂️ my iPhone is not getting an update.

When I first got it and I was unable to transfer to/from My personal Account I was annoyed but finally Khalil in the carpentersville branch was able to solve the problem. Now I love it’

Frustrating app. I liked it better when it was all part of the First American Bank personal baking app.

I have a tight schedule today and was worried that I wouldn’t have time to get to the bank, then I remember that I could do an electronic deposit. Which would allow me to not make at least one of my mini steps. And it worked! So grateful that this electronic deposit made my day easy!

There are wonderful people who work at this bank. They will do their best to work with you and cover your banking needs. I’ve been with them since the 90s and have not been disappointed.

Does not have the option for mobile remote check deposit.
Does not appear to have an option for mobile check deposit. What’s the point of mobile business banking in this day and age if I can’t remotely deposit a check. I will likely be leaving First American Bank if this does become an option very soon.
Bank tellers are the Best!
The bank tellers at the First American Bank in Naperville, on Ogden Road are the bomb! I had a problem with one of my credit cards, pulling the funds early; that being said, my checking account was overdrawn. I tried to correct the problem with the credit card company, but they said that they would continue to try to pull the money each day for three days. They told me to contact the bank; I did and they helped resolve the fees that were created because of the insufficient funds. I have banked with First American Bank for over 30 years and I think you can see why.
Horrible! These apps make more work for me!
I have two accounts and they used to be in one app. Now, I have to go into two different apps to make deposits and see my balances and then add them together on a calculator to see how much I have in my accounts. Horrible!!

Separates personal & business accounts
Previously, both business & personal accounts could be seen on one app. Now Management has unnecessarily divided them into 2 different apps
Easy Peasy
First American bank has made it so easy to deposit online and the transfers occur on the same day. Banking here has become effortless. Glad we chose first American when we moved here three years ago!
Newest update failure
App has its issues frequently but lately it was working ok for me (few months). Today the app logs me in and then freezes giving me a message saying “you need the latest version of iOS to continue and update your first American app”. My phone is the iOS update 16 something and it says there’s no other updates. I can’t update the phone bc there’s no available updates for apple OS and thus can’t use my bank app ! This is ridiculous.

Do not use this app it will drive u insane if u need to lock and unlock this is not the bank for u . Im stranded with my 3 yr old in a storm with no gas because the card unlock button disappeared like wtfff ive logged out and restarted my phone no luck and it does this everyday .

After 50 years of dealing with many banks, I can honestly say that First American Bank is the best. The employees are very knowledgeable and competent. I appreciate the kind and friendly treatment I receive. Everyone is willing to go the extra mile in order to provide great customer service. Thank you!

App no longer works with update
So apparently iOS 15 (the last version I can upgrade to with an iPhone 7) isn’t good enough anymore for First American’s app, despite using thumbprint scan. Guess I’ll have to bookmark the website and enter my text password into my saved passwords, which seems a lot less SAFE.
