Fun but…
It’s fun, but it’s really hard. I will rate it five stars because of all the detail that is in it.
BEWARE: Battery drain
Fun game. Like the strategy also. But 10 rounds and battery goes from 85% to 15%. Only thing on my phone that causes this. Very suspicious. Deleted game
i miss the old version.
i dont plan on keeping apple arcade so im sad the old version isnt on the app store. i bought it in the past but it was removed. and as much fun this is to play i liked that the old version stopped at a certain level and you felt that accomplishment, rather than endless repetitive levels. after 200 or so it gets boring. btw, why even bother with scoring as gaining coins doesnt win you anything?
Buggy
Could be great. Controls are janky AF. Try to rotate castle, it just spins wildly. How do I cancel a shot? No screen in settings to tell me. Also, somehow all levels feel identical. No difficulty scaling. I got three stars for every level through 55. And a lot of them felt like they should be two or one star.
Doesn’t let me past level 15
It won’t let me past level 15, other than that a great game.
Fantastic game
I want to buy this. I can’t, and the reason is to keep you on a subscription, greed. Apple executives should fear the tale of Icarus. I and many others will be voting for a political candidate that will round up apples executive board and sentence them to the capital death penalty.

Actually it’s a question and complaint
There is absolutely nothing to explain how you earn points and how many points for each thing you hit. Is it 5 points per brick or 10? How about the baddies, do you get 10 points for the average baddie, or 20 points for the wizard and only 5 for the average? Also are the high scores for each level from playing a regular level or the other mode? Plus I get the feeling the high scores for the rounds that has you destroying 7 in a row was played by a bot or AI. Now the complaint. This happens regardless of which level I’m on. Sometimes the laser will pass right through an object and do nothing. It’s incredibly frustrating when that particular level has very minimal ammo. Which honestly should be increased throughout the game.

If only during the tutorial I didn’t have to go back to a level to try conquest mode and a completed level with 3 stars would be a different color than yellow

New update a failure
Installed latest update today and the game will just not fully load. It gets to title screen and pathway try to play and it’s an endless spinning little man at bottom of screen. Please fix.

Annoying tutorials

Really annoying features.
I got to point number 5 when the review disappeared. So to continue, the one I dislike the most is where the weapons are attached to the tnt balloon, if you destroy the balloon the weapons are deducted. Except even when you avoid the balloon completely the weapons are still deducted. Again not fair. Particularly when you are doing the 7 castles crumble challenge, you don’t give enough weapons on that anyway. I often get to castle number 6 and have no weapons left so have to go through the whole lot again. Plus twice today I have reached castle number 7 only to find the last screen is frozen with no weapons available to play. I had to shut down and restart the iPad , got to the last screen and it still would not play! I enjoy playing the game but it is very off putting, when I get to that stage I go back to the beginning again.

Boring/too easy
I played over 100 levels and it is always win first try maybe there are harder levels later but i don’t want to play millions of easy levels to finally get to the harder ones

"The Storm King Challenge" is SO Hard. it is SO not fair.
Good concept, not challenging at all
If you are looking for a game that you can progress through with minimal thinking and effort this one is for you. You can make it more challenging by trying to minimise the cards you get to use to get through each level. But it gets monotonous after a while, the same old over and over again

So I’m on level 124 and I’ve found it’s literally impossible to get less than 3 stars on each level. There isn’t much challenge however I still play it. It’s a good casual mindless sort of time killer. It surely doesn’t stress me out at all, so that’s good.

Entertaining and enjoyable I suppose
Really good game overall, just getting a little bit bored of the same thing. Every single round you play, you basically just do the same thing. After 5-10 minutes I eventually get bored of it and log out. Good game for short line waiting, but wouldn’t recommend it as your top game for a long flight.I enjoy it but sometimes get bored. Anyways, This app doesn’t have adds! Plus you don’t need WiFi. Thank you for reading this. I think I might recommend it. 💖💖
Fun to run through
But a lot of it feels slow, and I definitely don’t need to see the summary of the whole multi-stage level every time I hit the restart button. Maybe show me once for each level, and add a button to the pause screen to manually trigger the overview?

Good for seniors too!
I am 56 years old and I try to play those fast games played by the younger generations but I seem to have difficulty in the controls so I stay away from those. I discovered this game last year and I just keep coming back to it. It’s fairly easy to play with no complex controls, just you index finger tapping your target. But it takes little planning and technical science to effectively damage the base of the castles. This game is really good for seniors as it keeps your mind thinking and planning to succeed in destroying the castles with less moves but with good targets, timing, and precision. It’s just the story or logic behind the play map as to where this is game is taking you. Try it for yourself it’s addictive just warning you. The feel of destroying the castles and see it crumble is quite a mild dopamine for me. Heh, enjoy!

Not a super clever puzzle game but acts as fun catharsis. I would improve it with a story based on a campaign… perhaps add in defending your own castles or something.
Hate vertical mode.

i love playing this game wherever i go and i really enjoy all the different things you cant explode i have a suggestion aswell make a sandbox mode were you can make buildings and set a number or wepon amo you can publish and explore other sandbox creations
Another good game abandoned by developers
Really enjoyed this game, good in game play etc but it’s yet another arcade game abandoned by the developers because there’s no micro transactions or money to be made. Disappointing

Great, until it goes wrong.
I enjoy the game, but the bugs are getting really tiresome. Every time I open it, I get a message telling me there was an error and asking if I want to allow my personal info to be used in a report. It’s currently not allowing me to play the daily challenge, yet again.

No challenge
Game is well made graphically and the physics engine is good. But it’s far too easy even for a child. So easy it’s barely a challenge at all, and therefore just feels like an empty time waster.
Good up to level 15
Was enjoying the game up until level 15. After the introduction of boosters you get presented with the second part of the level which is a small tower that looks like it will be easy to fell, but no matter how much you throw at it nothing seems to break. Makes obtaining 3 stars impossible.
