Easy to Use
Very user friendly. Almost nothing to learn. Always available. Gives you immediate connection to your hearing aids and their adjustments. Excellent!

Bare bones / Limited use
This app has only a limited EQ with 3 simple sliders. Can’t change double click settings, even though there is a setting for it. Not even single click functionality is useable. The presets now work better since the app has been updated but ever since connectivity has suffered. The only reason I use this app is to check battery levels and to switch to the TV Streamer but even that is a big headache because of the hearing aid’s terrible blutooth reliability. First have to play some audio for a few seconds before it recognizes the connection…only then can you switch to the TV Streamer. Good luck trying to stream to another source! Step 1: turn off Bluetooth in the phone settings. Step 2: try to play audio on the other device like an iPad. Most of the time, it won’t work until you reestablish connection in the Accessibility Settings, which requires turning on/off hearing aids. For the developer: I understand that many of these problems are inherent to Apple & Bluetooth but you should do all that resetting, reestablishing, etc. automatically for me. Every time. Be honest about all the promised functionality. If it’s not useable, take it out. Extra bonus if you build a more advanced EQ.

The battery portion of the hearing aids are a bit too wide for a person with a smaller ear that wears glasses.

I want to love this! Especially working great with music! Yet having to reboot my phone or hearing aids almost every day for use! I just don’t understand it? When the technology is synthesized and working wonderful! Like a EV car that is charged and no issues! When glitch glitches are happening! The range anxiety or the failure limp mode EV crawling home in the emergency lane! Yeah it really takes the shine off an experience and expensive needed purchase! A hearing aid. I have wore them since I was around ten years old. So about 40 years! I know Phillips is a great brand! I want this to work! My concern is that tentative on the fence first time users would be put off. A life changing experience for them and family would be lost! An opportunity to enjoy and enhance one of our 5 senses!

The app is easy to use and navigate with plenty of options the only issue I have encountered is the occasional drop out of Bluetooth and some difficulty in re- connecting.

App and hearing aids disconnect randomly one ear or the other. No apparent reason with phone in close proximity. Hearing aid and app at best would be fair but not what I would consider reliable. App is updated and the reliability has declined over the last few months.

Up until today, this app worked well and I used it frequently to change hearing modes. However, last night the new version was installed on my iPhone and it no longer works at all. I’m very unhappy, as I found that the different modes were very helpful.
Background noise
The hearing aids still do not significantly decrease background noise. Please work harder on addressing this.
Bluetooth
My hearing aids keep interfering with Spotify and Waze in my car. If I turn off 1 hearing aid I’m good. They need to make a mode where I can turn Bluetooth off when in my car and it need to be an easy method!!

Do not work in automatic call and media audio routing!
They do not automatically route call and media audio! Costco initially did not set up a speech in noise or HiFi Music program. I had to make a return visit. When listening to media audio, music or speech in the general program, the audio quality is like a 60’s transistor radio. Also, the LE Bluetooth connection gets corrupted by other wireless devices nearby. My KS-10 Phonak hearing aids did not have these issues, but they were out of warranty so I went into Costco to get a new pair. Costco recommended these devices.I do NOT recommend them.

Second set of hearing aids where right one hardly works
Even when I turn up the right aid as high as it goes and the left as low as it goes, the left is still twice as loud as the right!! Have already reordered a new set and it’s now happening again.

My iPhone problem
Compared to earlier hearing aids, simply inserting them in my ear does give be adequate functioning most of the time. Unless I sit for a time euth my phone and click through various steps, I may have only limited functionality. At times I must reset the Bluetooth connection (turning it off and in again)… other times other clicks are necessary to get it functioning properly. If not fully checked out to confirm full functioning, I will sometimes miss phone calls because the phone is not ringing but is only sending a ring signal to my hearing aids… and that signal is not getting through. Serious enough problem that I would probably choose a different manufacturer next time. I’ve asked Costco if there is not a new upgrade to the software to address this problem, but they claim not to be aware of such… but still seem to be aware of complaints such as mine. I’d be happy to hear from Phillips in this issue.

Estoy aprendiendo, a usar aparatos para SORDERA Y sólo puedo hacer un comentario inicial… Es un hecho que ALGUNOS adultos mayores llegamos a una Edad en que requerimos usar accesorios auditivos para poder OÍR BIEN ! Y NO TENER QUE LLEGAR A SENTIRNOS “AISLADOS ”, esto me empezó a suceder a los 75 años y quisiera compartir mi experiencia pues no es fácil Aprenderlos a usar bien !
Makes adjustments easier
This is much easier for situational adjustments than trying to remember which ear piece to tap as it is visual. It allows for finer adjustments and modes too. If you have to wear hearing aids, this is a good app.
To much work for little I get back
So much feedback and constant tweaking is needed. I just want them to work.

Equalization
I do like the enhanced ability to hear birds. However musical instruments are distorted; violins sound “tinny”, more like trumpets. In general, under most circumstances, I mute the sound amplification to -4 for conversation. Running water, flushing the toilet has unusually high frequency sounds. Also,, piano sounds distorted.
I hear better but…
I bought these hearing aids because of Auracast. Granted, it’s new technology but it is difficult to operate consistently. Some situations that I think it should work it doesn’t at all. All of the indicators in the software consistently say the signal is not getting to the hearing aids. I am very familiar with bluetooth technology. The latest version of this protocol is easy and fool-proof. If you just get near a source it is connected. I used to run a design firm and new technology introduced to my office that weren’t quite up to snuff were called “VOODOO.” All you needed to do to get it running correctly was to dance around it naked with a dead chicken. This is VODOO software. Can’t wait for the next update. One other thought: This software is for senior citizens. Their relationship with modern electronic is tenuous, at best. The adaption rate will be preceded by a decimal until you make it transparent and easy to use. Can’t wait for the next update.

Keep turning off
I never know when they are going to turn off. It always happens when I work out and lay down on a mat. I hate it.
Second time app user
First time I misplaced it at dinner. Fell out taking mask off. Table mate saw something odd. A man had a hearing aid he found. Susequntly I returned and looked everywhere. Got find on app and it was still in area. Walked away to nurse station and aid stayed put. Then it started to move. Towards me. My stablemate had it in his ear. I took it out. Showed him he had two blue ones and one was mine his was in shop for repair. Apparently whoever found mine.poles up and said hey I got your hearing aid and put it in. Same manufacture different model. Today left one wouldn’t work. Turned Bluetooth on off and aid off and on. Seems to be ok for now.

Always connects easily. Lots of features but still user friendly. My brother has a different brand of hearing aids with a different app and he has problems with his. Not mine.

Big stability improvement
I had my hearing aids checked in November 2024, and a new firmware update was installed. Since then, the previous disconnection issue has been improved to a great extent. Now it is quite rare for disconnection to occur.

Hearing for better or for worse
I found the microphone in the hearing aids are tuned for higher frequencies and that at times causes them squeal at sounds that are higher frequencies too and when closer to walls or car windows. The sound is great when listening to music or movies from my smartphone directly to the hearing aids .
