Updates
Hearing aids not working after updating. Will try reloading the app. Charging was at 80 percent and hearing aids fully charged. Successful download to the update. Still working to get streaming.
Add compression threshold
The app is straight forward, but hearing aids lack a compressor to manage loud sudden noise events. Raising the volume to improve heating also raise volume of above normal volume, coughing or clanging of dishes etc. a compressor would allow these events to be lowered without cutting the desired level for conversation.

Iffy app
The app has started to not recognize the hearing aids. About once a week the app announces that new hearing aids have been detected an I have to go through the connection process. Very disappointed.

Try again Signia!
This app stinks. Bluetooth does not stay connected from iPhone to hearing devices. Have reset numerous times and works for a while but then I have to reset. Don’t expect to get quick help from Signia.
Unhelpful for problem solving
App is supremely unhelpful when it comes to more that adjusting HA controls. No help is provided for pairing process. The “assistant” can only say your hearing aids are disconnected- no help on how to approach reconnecting, for example. Also no help for diagnosing a broken wire as another example
Hearing aids
This is the worst app I ever used the hearing aids are never connected and you don’t ever get the hearing aids to work after you put them in your ear but before you get them they are on but after they usually off and after a week in the charger this is absolutely junk
Close but not right
The Signia app provides useful features when they work. It has problems doing simple things, like connecting to my hearing aids. I have had to delete and reinstall the app numerous times to get it to work properly. It fails to work at the most inconvenient times - like when I need it. Very frustrating to own Signia hearing aids and not be able to hear properly when the app changes settings without being prompted and then not being able to correct the problem without spending 15 minutes to uninstall and reinstall.

This is my second pair of hearing aids. My first pair were Oticon. They were much better. I got these because that’s what my Dr recommended. These are by far, in my short experience, the absolute worst hearing aids. They don’t hold the settings I use overnite while they are recharging. They go on and off on a whim. Sometimes not holding a charge for a full day. When I first got them I was back and forth to my Dr for adjustments and fittings and new tips for hearing better and comfort. The sound is horrible. The whole room and everything and everyone in it increases. If I’m sitting at a table talking with someone right in front of me I can’t hear them. I hear everything else. No matter how I adjust them. The aids light up the whole room with sound except what I need them to, I usually don’t use them when I’m going to be in a crowd, such as a wedding or any social event. Plus the fit makes them very noticeable. Not like my Oticon. I would never buy this brand again, I mite buy a pair advertised online, and I would never recommend these to anyone. My wife needs aids soon and she knows what not to buy.

App opens too slowly and have to try several times to open it.
Unable to pair
The system worked fine until last night and used it for years. I guess I got the new software update. I have followed all the instructions, but alas the app will not pair with the hearing aids. The hearing aids are working, I just cannot control them with the app any more.

Off is not always off. My settings aren’t saved between sessions. Tone stinks.

Add support for iOS shortcuts
This app is pretty basic but gets the job done. I’ve tried both Signia Pure (Bluetooth) and Silk charge and go (no Bluetooth) with it. Because of tinnitus I keep switching programs which is cumbersome to do in the app. You should take a dev sprint to make your iOS app available in shortcuts. Then I could use Siri to switch programs or create quick shortcuts. It is a low effort for your dev team. Please do it.

The hearing aids are much better than my previous ones, however will not connect to Bluetooth and now unable to control right and left only balance and volume available and speech boost will no longer highlight which is probably due to during not connected, even though my iPhone shows them connected
Default settings in hearing aids
Need to be able to set and keep as the default new settings in the hearing aids. Have to continue to reset volume levels every time I open the CIGNA app to what I prefer.

Recent update made unauthorized changes
Last update from 4 days ago, 8/20, changed my Program Names from Universal, TV, Noise to Universal, Program 2 and Program 3. How am I supposed to match generic names to what they used to be. This change is an outrage and I want to know why this happened???!!!

På tide med en oppdatering av appen? Den er treg, noen ganger starter den ikke opp før etter flere forsøk. Savner en knapp både i appen og i H-app innstillingene på tlf hvor du enkelt kan skru av/på ekstern lyd mens du hører streaming, feks musikk eller podcast. Savner tilsvarende en knapp for å pause selve streamingen. Tilkobling og sambruk med ekstern streamline mic er ikke så funksjonell som det burde være.

I’ve had my hearing aids along with this app for two years now and the past several months the app is not responding to my requests.
Good hearing improvements
I can hear better. I can Control the noise better, which is that’s which the controls to noise the environment. It helps to cut down a lot of background chatter, which makes a big difference.

The best choice, but not perfect
It would be better if the could rember settings from last time it was in use. It will not remember from day to day (after recharging). Also it wont give you access to all features when it tinitus mode. Reconnecting on Bluetooth is done times challenging and I need to go via iOS to connect. The directional hearing feature is very helpful and I use it every day. Also the "crisp" setting is very helpful. It really helps me understanding speach in certain environments. The peak protection must be improved. Sharp sound gets amplified in a very unpleasant way.
Unreliable App for a Critical Function.
The Signa hearing aids themselves are great. Just wish the app would come somewhat close to supporting such a critical set of devices. I’ve used Signa hearing aids for years and the app is unreliable. It will recognize your hearing aids about 70% of the time. The app also force closes often. I have an upgraded set of hearing aids and was told by my audiologist how the app has significantly improved in functionality and reliability. They should stick to making sure the basic functions work before the app does more sophisticated things. It’s overall very disappointing as a failure of the app really brings down Signia as a brand. When it comes time to replace these, I’m likely to choose another brand. I cannot recommend this app to another until reliability improves significantly.

Zero software updates
The software hasn’t been updated in like 2 years blue tooth is trash with iPhone 17 pro half the time it doesn’t connect on its own and taking phone calls is difficult for others to hear me unless I’m in a dead silent environment and the phone has to stay in my hand or it just doesn’t work on calls if I’m listening to something I get 10 feet of connection before they disconnect for the 7k I paid 3 years or so ago I expect a better service and attention to regular updates on the app and the software for the hearing aids them selfs if no improvements are made these will be my last pair of Signia brand hearing aids I’ll ever own I’m sure I speak for others when I say we don’t have time for this we pay a lot for your hearing aids we expect you to provide app and software support and maintenance on a regular basis do better of lose a repeat customer your choice

Controls are awful.
Loses connection in the most inconvenient times. If you are out need them they shut down. So embarrassing if you are around others.
Musician recommended
I bought these aids after reading about them being endorsed by guitarist studio musician, I decided to give them try I have owned widex phonax, my take on these aids are mixed they are slim line which makes it much easier to wear aids with sunglasses without dumbo ear effect.. I don’t agree with them being great for musicians because no.1. Musicians like to tweak sounds similar to audio engineer or aid audiologist in order to ensure they hear instruments close as possible to the natural tones frequencies one would hear with someone having normal hearing this would be ideal of course but unfortunately this aids are very limited when it comes to user adjustments and although they do have preset settings labeled Musician setting and another labeled live music setting they are of no use in ether situations furthermore the user can’t tweak frequencies only volume and focus direction of sound you want to hear this is not enough according to my audiologist they can’t do allot ether the program is pre programmed to boost what hearing loses shown in hearing test in general the audiologist can’t adjust musician or live music setting so the user is stuck with what ever the developer programmed into settings then locked user out for personal listening preferences and/or simple EQ adjustments are unavailable which is very disappointing to say the least.these aids look great fit better being slim sound is decent but if your a musician with hearing loss keep looking for aids that have options setting for custom personal frequency adjustable program for live music concerts or similar personal customization options. Streaming and Turn off
Only hearing phone call voice in one ear and no idea how to turn off left side off without putting them in the charging.
Compatibility
App and Hearing Aids work great until they don’t. Then it’s a Pain to get the devices resented to the App. From Scratch. Because when they don’t work it’s because the App has dumped its settings & forgotten the Hearing Aids.
Worthless app
The app works sometimes but never consistently. Half the time I can barely hear a phone call and the volume control on app does next to nothing. Other times the phone is loud enough but again the volume control does next to nothing. Basically the only way to consistently use the iPhone is to switch it to not go through the hearing aids. When not on the phone the app volume control only makes a slight difference in volume from full on to full off. The other app settings can change the dynamics like balance or direction but without being able to change the volume they are sort of worthless. Overall these aids are a step down from my prior 10 year old aids.

Inconsistent
Access to the app is very inconsistent. Sometimes it seems to work very intuitively and quickly unfortunately most of the time it’s very unresponsive takes a very long time to load. Invariably it seems when I’m in a noisy setting and wish to direct the focus for sound. That particular part of program does not function. I’m surprised that this is the best that SIGNA can do. Overall very disappointed in the functionality of the app working plus the sound quality of the hearing aids themselves seem to crackle and pop quite a bit.

No se conecta a bluetooth. Toca reinstalar el app y a veces funciona y otras no. A veces ajusta bien los sonidos fuertes y otras no. Es mejor que uno mismo los pueda ajustar.

No help whatsoever. App is up to date yet doesn’t work. Lags to load program and won’t allow me to make adjustments. Waste of money!
Førsteinntrykk veldig bra på signia active pro
Veldig fornøyd så langt etter ca1 måneds bruk. Passer bra i ørene lang batterilevetid og ladeetui. Burde passet litt bedre i etui, må legge de helt riktig for at de skal lade. Savner en meny for avanserte innstillinger. Tungvint å må vente på audiograf for og gjøre innstillinger, som jeg kunne gjort selv. Det er jo jeg som bruker som kan høre og gjøre justering underveis. Jeg er veldig lyd intresert og liker å høre musikk å se film. Jeg jobber som mekanikker og i støyforurenset miljø. Så jeg bruker hørselsvern over høreapparat. Dette medfører en del problemer når høreapparatene jobber aktivt for å forbedre lydkvalitet. Jeg stiller gjærne som testperson for og finne løsninger på innstillinger og ev. lydprogram som kan lages til apparatene. Mvh Leif-Erik

sound quality is fair at best. My local dealer has been easy to work with but they’re no for me.
