Exceptional!
Well, having a weekend just relaxing around home and trying to listen to my Bluetooth outdoor speaker I was frustrated as it turns out my Oticon Zeal’s frequency were overlapping making it near impossible to use the speaker! After trying many different adjustments to the Zeals and referring to the users manual I tapped into the Companion App on my phone and approached customer support. Well, blow me down with a feather- I was astonished to get a reply keeping in mind this was a weekend! After 2 or 3 goes, I was finally given the information that I needed to have the speaker working brilliantly with my Zeals still in my ears! Awesome, wasn’t expecting that! DGR is Very Happy, thank you Oticon! Said in real world time as it happened! Darren. Zeals frequency was giving my speaker

The app offers good access to my Oticon Zeal features but I would love to be able to change Programs via an IOS shortcut. That way I could eg swap to “My Music” automatically when Carplay starts and back to “General” when I exit.
Not too bad BUT UNRELIABLE
OK this app works can well enough, BUT… 1. It is poorly designed visually and unimpressive BUT it works, when it works. It will NEVER win an award for graphic design. That is not a big deal - 2. I had to download load it twice to get the option to select program options. Once that issue was resolved, I was pleased. 3. Day 2. However: It vanished from my watch. On the iPhone (11pro) it could not connect to the left ear even though the battery was still OK. Even replacing the battery meant that the options for Program 1 general, Program 2 Music, and Progam 3 Headphones - were no longer there AGAIN! So back to square one. Download the watch App AGAIN. Restart the phone. Now we are back. 4. Day 3 Connection has been sort of OK but it is so much more work than the old version of the app…… Why the change if it is LESS STABLE? 5. The interface remains clumsy but the UNRELIABILITY IS NOT GOOD. You can now find your hearing aids if you misplace them. 6. Oticon need to up their game! 7. If this is not fixed soon I will be hunting for a different brand of hearing aids. 8. Keeps defaulting to really loud.
Funktioniert grundsätzlich
Aber leider nicht alle wichtigen Funktionen. Was ich schmerzlich vermisse ist das Streaming durch Tippen zu unterbrechen (um z.B. eine Unterhaltung zu beginnen. Beim Anrufannehmen geht das ja auch, wieso nicht mehr Funktionalität dieser Art? Nicht state of the Art. Da ich noch in der Testphase bin werde ich aus diesem Grund möglicherweise nicht bei dieser Fa. bleiben.

TV Streamen
Leider lässt sich seit dem letzten Update nichts mehr über den TV Transmitter streamen,vom IPhone direkt funktioniert,der STREAMER wird auch vom IPhone erkannt geht aber nicht auf die Hörgeräte,Companion gelöscht,Hörgeräte vom iPhone entfernt alles neu installiert nichts funktioniert

Just outstanding!
I have had these new “in-ear” Oticon bionic ears (as I call them) for four weeks now. I previously used, and still own, another tiny model that requires an ear mould, but I could not stand the occlusion feeling and had to stop wearing them, at huge expense! Plus I had to insert tiny batteries every few days with was not good. This new Oticon model allows natural sound and airflow in and out of the ear, resulting in little to no occlusion feeling. Being AI-powered, these new Oticon hearing aids seem to know where to focus during a conversation and what background noise to block out. The app is easy to use, and I can discreetly adjust the settings on my phone when in a noisy environment, Tv etc. In terms of fit, they are easy to insert, with no fiddling required. I’m very conscious of how I look as a 61-year-old male with short hair, and they are very discreet. The wire/aerial/handle tucks neatly into the natural crease of my ear, so taking them in and out is quick and easy. They are incredibly comfortable, and I have to be careful not to wear them into the shower because I barely notice that I’m wearing them. I love the way different personal programs can be created by Natalie, my audiologist, including one specifically for my partner, who is very softly spoken, has a monotone voice, and often walks away while talking to me. It used to drive me crazy and often caused arguments, but these new hearing aids have solved all of that. I can even be upstairs or in another room and still hear the conversation clearly. They are simply amazing. These hearing aids are expensive, and like any medical device attached to your body, so there is an adjustment period but financially and emotionally they are so well worth it! Another feature that this new Oticon models offers, which my previous ones did not, is a compact charging case. Even without being plugged into power, the case can recharge the hearing aids three times, meaning there is no need to carry a power cord when travelling overnight. I can also use my Apple iPhone charging wire on the charging case, so this also makes it super convenient, even to the point of being out or overseas and loosing the charger cable and having to borrow a iPhone charging cord. Phone call wise, we have four cars, two with Bluetooth and two vintage vehicles with no modern technology. I can make and receive calls directly through my hearing aids in any of the cars, and as of yesterday, my audiologist adjusted the settings so that external noise of my old cars is virtually eliminated during calls. When tested yesterday, callers had no idea I was in the car driving because all background road and engine noise, apart from my voice, was filtered out. For me, this is another major benefit. Normally, I do not write reviews, but I could not recommend these new AI-powered hearing aids highly enough. They have made a remarkable difference to my hearing, comfort, and quality of life, and I would encourage anyone considering hearing aids to give them serious consideration. Michael NSW Australia
Horrible app
Have app on my iPhone and iPad, have constant problems when swapping from one to the other. One aid connects and the other just won’t without turning the device off and back on again. Have deleted the app and reinstalled a few times, very, very frustrating app

Wechsel zwischen Geräten gelingt nicht oder nach umständlichen Prozeduren. Der Name Oticon als App lässt sich nicht mit Stichwort Hörgerät finden. Praxistests leistet sich Oticon offenbar nicht.

Very happy with the App and any time I’ve seen a need for support the response has been excellent and except for one issue that neither Oticon or Apple could resolve that came clear with iOS 26.4 Oticon have been great to work with to resolution. iOS 26.5 no issues.

App besser geworden
„Hörgeräte nicht verbunden“ kommt sehr selten vor. Dann kann man über das IPhone meist vom Lautsprecher auf die Hörgeräte umschalten. Selten kommt vor das die App nicht weiß wie lange die Geräte getragen wurde, denn das iPhone weiß es. Dank Aufruf Apple Höhrhilfe geht noch meist immer noch etwas mehr als mit der App. Auch ist nicht ganz klar warum öfters gemeldet wird „kopple L oder R“ obwohl Mobil keine 50cm vor einem platziert ist.
Zu wenig Einstellmöglichkeiten für den Digital Native
leider bietet die Oticon Companion App zu wenig Einstellmöglichkeiten, insbesondere im Vergleich zu Apple AirPods pro 3. Bei denen kann ich zum Beispiel die Klangfarbe verändern und die Störgeräusch. Unterdrückung bei der Oticon Companion App bin ich auf die Voreinstellungen Hörgeräteakustik angewiesen. Bei dem Preis für Oticon Zeal 1 absolut nicht angemessen.
Vergesslich
Gelegentlich geht die Verbindung zum IPhone verloren und das Koppeln funktioniert nicht.

Great app , easy to use .
Useless!
Hearing aid paired and can hear through them, however, went to app to increase sound but could not access the volume at all! Kept being sent to PAIR NOW page, over and over. Much preferred the last app!
Better hearing
Excellent devices . I highly recommend them. Some advice on using cotton ear tips to clean ear canals on a daily basis would have been useful. Also a demonstration on how to change the white ends and the rubber caps using just one hand would have been helpful. But I addressed both issues by myself and I am very happy with the product.

Poor performance.
The app since the update now makes it harder to connect to the hearing aids. I need to cycle the aids several times before connection is made. Then the app won’t stay connected and keeps dropping out. Seriously a pain.

The original app connected very quickly ( within 5 secs usually) The original app. also stayed connected about 95% of the time with the app open and in the background. The newer app called “ Oticon Companion” doesn’t stay reliably connected in the background and to add to frustration it can take well over 45 to a minute to re-sync or connect. This is very disappointing considering the hearing aids are a premium high cost product ( OPN s1 Minirite) Using iPhone 13 and it is kept up to date. This poor performance is enough for me to change my hearing aid brand in the future in the hope that another company will have good quality aids with a high performing app associated with it. This poor app lets down the whole functionality and satisfaction of my very expensive aids. Very poor

I’m not liking them at all . I can’t direct where the sound comes from & when I turn the sound up they amplify everything. Would be nice to have a zone or radius you could direct your hearing aid to .

There ok but you know what would be even more amazing if you could actually have the hearing aid have a setting to translate any language while wearing it so you can understand your friends from different countries not go out and get a new one for extortionate prices

Bluetooth dropouts
Constantly dropping out and the requires a complete restart of hearing aid and bluetooth to get going again - every single time...and new intent has no usable buttons to with instead

Does not play well on older phones
The app does not stay running in the background on my iPhone XR. This makes the Find My feature unusable. On my new iPhone 16 it stays connected almost all of the time. Support needs to be aware of this and a list of supported phones published
They work
Refer to Title. The hearing aid’s seem. It is difficult to compare my hearing to a person without hearing impairment. Howe adjust the settings to suit most situations. This is an improvement since wearing them. Unfortunately I can’t wear them as often as I would Iike to because of wearing a mask and in the cooler weather wearing a hooded jacket. Both are a good way to lose a hearing aid. I understand that hearing aids need to be light for comfort and easily fitted and removed but I wish there was some way secure them in those situations.

Unfortunately, I feel that my hearing aids not up to scratch and certainly not as efficient as the previous model model aids that I owned. The present aids are very poor in relation to Internet connectivity and nowhere as good as my previous ones. They often do not connect. The range is very poor and often unreliable and remaining connected. The background noise I experience in cafes and around groups of people is in my opinion below standard..
