What A GREAT SITE
I am new to Tinnitus and I am amazed at the way it is relieved by the relaxing sounds on this site. I am going to tell my friend about it. He has Tinnitus too.

This was recommended by an audiologist to help mask by irritating tinnitus. It does help. And I’m glad to have it.

Not sure how it helps tinnitus. Yeah, it provides background sounds to mask tinnitus, but does not provide ongoing relief.
It’s okay
First, it times out - even if a time is set - when the screen times out or you switch to another app. Second, the music options are repetitive within a very short time span.
Great for infants
My friend who has tinnitus sent me the link to this app and it is perfect for sending my grandson into a deep sleep.
Won’t allow me to save.
App, though connected to my hearing aids, won’t allow me to save a setting. Constant drop of communication with one of my aids. Constantly have to open the app and re establish settings. It’s a no for me. Bout to toss the hearing aids in a drawer.
Sleep relief
Started using this after 3 years of continuous high pitched ringing in my right ear. It normally takes me an average of 3-4 hours to get to sleep. From the first night of use I have fallen asleep within about half an hour and if I wake through the night I can go straight back to sleep instead of staying awake all day from about 2am .. the ringing seems less/lower and I’m beginning to have times when I don’t notice it at all .Sleeping better has made a huge difference to my energy levels and coping. So far thrilled with the app .. I use crickets, cicadas and fire.

Tinnitus Relief
I have Tinnitus and this is great sound therapy. It works. It doesn’t make it go away but it overlaps the ringing and after 20 minutes of sound therapy you seem to reduce the ringing. While using it it does give instant relief.

Love the app however I find the contrast on the timer screen poor. I’m not sure if it’s my phone setting but the text is black on a dark blue background. Can his be amended please?

Ich bin in der Probewoche und gerade die Klänge und die Einstellbarkeit sind gut. Aber ich schaffe es nicht, die Aufgabe „Atmen“ zu erfüllen. Leider gibt es dazu auch keine Hilfe.

The AP doesn’t really help you track anything if you subscribe. It doesn’t keep track of the time you listen toward your plan. It’s just not worth the subscription

Hearing Test error
ReSound Tinnitus Relief app on the iPhone promotes a Hearing Test in the Learn section. Pressing continue when prompted to do the Hearing Test does not proceed. I paid for a subscription to see if that was necessary but it doesn’t.
Not getting ability to build personalised plan
Although I am subscribed to the monthly plan the area that says ‘build personal plan’ is locked. Otherwise it is all very good but I am disappointed this is not delivering what I am paying for

This is a decent app. for those of us suffering with tinnitus. I find that the app. periodically stops after I receive a text but it doesn’t always restart
Downloaded the free trial
Have set my plan, completed the seperate parts, have got a plan, when I try to download my specific sound which will show with a yellow star, I get an OPERATION TIMED OUT MESSAGE. Drag down and try again. I HAVE ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS and continually get the same message. I have tinnitus but good hearing. I’ve tried to find assistance but can only find info for hearing aid users. CAN ANYONE HELP PLEASE 🙏 I had intended to purchase, not sure now. If I can’t get help within 7 days, I definitely won’t be purchasing add ons.
Plans do not track- paid subscription which includes
Overall the sounds and advice given within the app are good;however, the paid subscription which includes a plan (tracking plan) does not track the breathing exercise as it should. Everything else in the plan is tracked including listening to sounds, etc. I could do the breathing exercise for more than 5 minutes and it shows no progress. There isn’t a means to easily get support. I dropped the paid subscription as this should be as difficult as it is. MindEar seems like a better choice for me.
This Ap is a life saver
I wish that were an overstatement, but tinnitus is no joke. and for me, threatened my well-being to the point where I contemplated ending my life. This ap has been here for me for 3.5 yrs, helping me to make life worth living, and even enjoyable again. I’ve done it all—Lenire, hearing aids, therapy, Amatriptaline and more. They’ve all helped. This has been the biggest help, along with time. You will get through this.
Remove the faq
I never considered that it would be possible to get tinnitus in both ears until I read your faq section. Then I got it in both ears cause I was fearful of it after reading your faqs. You no doubt knew this would have happened to someone reading that since you no doubt have tinnitus yourself, you should get some help
Useful app
Is it possible to add a heartbeat sound as I suffer with multiple tinnitus noises but a pounding heartbeat against my skull 24/7 is the most stressful one which keeps me awake most night
Issues
In principle this is a great app but has a big flaw. The app will stop playing if my phone goes to sleep or I use another app unlike my (Apple) music app which will continue to play despite being asleep. Therefore I can’t use it mask my Tinnitus to help me sleep at night
Love it but recently it’s being odd
Love this app, I personally use it to wind down before bed and then to sleep to, however tonight as I’ve tried to us it the sounds will only play when I have the app open. If I change the app, it stops playing and won’t play even if I press play on the mini player.

One little problem
This app is a godsend for my tinnitus I can create the sound I need to mask my ringing. The only issue I seem to have is every now and then almost all the sounds I specifically created disappear and I have to remake them.
No support for playing sounds in background
The sounds themselves are great but the app does not support playing in the background. As a result when my iPhone automatically locks after 5 minutes the sounds stop. I noted that the developer claimed this was due to a phone’s “native settings” to another set of feedback reporting the same issue. This is not true. There is no functionality in the settings app to over-ride this behaviour. Other apps such as Spotify and Calm allow background playing. This app behaves like YouTube however where it is only functional when it’s the on-screen app - but while Google intentionally do that to push people towards paying for YouTube premium, I am not sure whether the developers of this app had the same intention with this lack of functionality.

I like this and i don’t have tinnitus! I hate to use apps without supporting the developer but this subscription is more than i would pay. Consider adding an optional feature pack for an annual fee of a couple dollars.
Wertlos
Es wird nicht einmal die Art des Tinitus gemessen oder diagnostiziert. Nur wertlose Entspannungsgeräusche, die ich auch bei Spotify oder YouTube hören kann.
Timer function
This is an amazing app and has really helped with my tinnitus at bed time. I would have given 5 stars only for one small gripe. When you set the timer the font is black which blends in with the dark blue background making it very unclear. If it was white like the rest of the font it would be so much better! Thanks
Properly adaptable
First programme of this kind that has a full suite of therapeutic sounds that I can fuse to mask my tinnitus. I have built a number of targeting soundscapes that truly help manage my condition
Very good, but a big flaw
Really good app and hopefully a help with my tinnitus. Unfortunately, the brown noise is unusable for me as it doesn’t loop and therefore the sound isn’t continuous. This is particularly problematic at night where the tiny gap of silence, as the loop restarts, is jarring.

Warning current version does very little
So… NO way to route any of this to the in ear generators - breathing and mediation is a pretty useless simple circle animation. ANY useful features you’ll get stuffed for £6 ($10) a month - yes that’s right. You are being asked to buy this app again and again every month. No Thankyou. And not for the kittle this thing actually does. (Which is almost nothing) Any PROS? None. Nothing to see here - waste of space on the phone

Bei einer kostenlosen App sollte man nicht so viel meckern. Aber die Sounds klingen doch sehr dürftig und schrecklich synthetisch. Wer wirklich gute Sounds zur Tinnitus-Maskierung sucht, sollte sich mal die speziellen Echtzeit-Aufnahmen von Earnoise.Care anhören. Die sind wirklich um Welten besser und sowieso wohl das Nonplusultra in diesem Bereich. (Ist aber keine App.) Die Hintergrund-Informationen, die die App eigentlich bieten soll, werden bei mir überhaupt nicht angezeigt.

Mir hilft gerade das Feuer sehr. Ich höre zwar das Piepen unverändert, aber es erdet mich wieder. Die gesprochene Meditation würde ich gern nutzen, allerdings ist gerade diese weibliche Stimme für mich sehr unangenehm. Eine Auswahl mit einer Männerstimme wäre für mich super. Das es die Meditation nur auf Englisch gibt, finde ich i.O..

Really good choice of sounds to listen too however the sounds stop unless you keep the phone screen on all the time, no screen lock etc. This really racks up my screen time which annoys me. Would give 5 stars if it continued playing until I stopped it.
