Im a long time sufferer of Tinnitus and Meniere’s Disease and I mean I suffered from it especially like now when I have a Meniere’s flare up. Im no doctor just a patient and I am professional being treated so this is my personal opinion on this app and how it helps me. Before I found this app I was looking for something I could tailer to my specific needs. I wanted something I could adjust the ears independently and control the volume and pitches of the sounds. So recently the past week I found the Tinnitus Aid app about 2am, yeah 2am because I couldnt sleep because of the ringing in my ears so I searched and searched again. I have been looking for something like this for so long and I got lucky and found it. The more I use it the better its getting and Im understanding better how to use it to tailer it to my needs. I dont consider this just a Tinnitus app, its therapeutic for anyone for relaxation and just taking it easy when you need it and listen to something soothing. The developers really listen and respond to suggestions and questions and thats so important to me especially in my case right now..but I really love this app and its worth every penny of the subscription price Im paying for it, one of the better investments for an app I have. I hope anyone that gives it a try loves it as much as I do but if its helping me with the severe case of tinnitus I have I would hope it could help many more…good luck with it if you give it a try, I sure do love it.

It seems as though the free version only allows access to nice beautiful sounds that overly the tinnitus. It appears that in order to experience the notching effect one has to purchase the app for an Unknown price. Correct me if I’m wrong.
Great Sound App
Great sound app for Tinnitus sufferers. You have to experiment to find the right frequency or sounds to mask you tinnitus. This will enable you to have a restful sleep.
Don’t buy
I had no luck with this app. It did not even come close to creating a sound that worked. I am having trouble canceling it. It is not listed in my subscriptions section.

Es gäbe auch fünf Sterne, wenn ich nicht bei jedem Start gefragt gefragt werden würde, ob ich ein Update auf die Pro Version machen will. Das würde ich sogar- allein schon aus Neugier- wenn es nicht irgendwas über 20€ kosten würde.

Eher wie ein Kinder-Lexikon
Ich empfehle euch lieber Chat GPT zu benutzen als das hier. Mein HNO empfahl mir diese App und ich habe alle Lektionen gemacht und bin sehr enttäuscht. Es eher wie ein Kinderlexikon mit Aufklärung was ein Tinnitus ist und ein paar Techniken zur Bewältigung. Wer aber wirklich Hilfe und Antwort auf seine Fragen haben möchte kann effizienter und ohne Aufwand über die Krankenkasse andere Lösungen finden. Ich sehe hier eher Abzocke.

Tinnitus Sounds
This by far the best app I have tried for my horrible Tinnitus! This app prevents the Very Very Loud High Pitch Ringing I experience just about everyday! I highly recommend this app if you have the “Curse” Tinnitus as I Call it! I have the Tinnitus only in my left ear! I try to adjust it to only the left ear but it lasts for only a few minutes then it goes to both ears. Any way to keep it adjusted to only my left ear?

The main beneficial feature is the filters, and they’re in the screenshots, but they’re not in this app. You have to download and buy a completely different app to get the filter functionality. This app just plays sounds from freesounds.org.

Sadistic app
I spent more than an hour trying to use this horrible app to determine the frequency my tinnitus rings at, but had no luck because every few minutes, as I was shifting frequency ever so slightly, the app would throw me off with a demand that I pay for a seemingly useless app because (take their word for it!), however bad the free version is, it’ll work great in the pro version. Bzzzz! Wrong. Part of the problem is being interrupted all the time in the free app, but the GUI will be just as awful in the pro version. Specifically, when you’re scrubbing the waveform across freqs, you can shift small amounts with good control, but take your finger off the screen for any reason, and when you try to continue from where you left off you can’t because the wave jumps way off from where it had been as soon as you touch it. I suppose I could have constantly watched the readout so I’d know where I’d left off, but I was trying to concentrate on listening to minute variations in sound. They should have controls that let you move set amounts so it’s not so frustrating. And at the very least, they should give you an hour to try to find the right frequency before nagging you to buy the pro version.

There is a nice variety of pleasing sounds for free and more if you want to upgrade. I am a new tinnitus patient and this app is really helping me to sleep at night. As a bonus, it’s also helping to block out my husbands snoring! The support is great too. I had a question and they responded via email within hours.

Absolutely Useless!
New update overheating phone
I have been using this app (exclusively of all the tinnitus apps out there) for two years with no problems. Suddenly since last weeks update it overheats my phone and drains the battery down to nothing. Is there a fix or do I need to go app shopping again?

Does what it was designed to do. This app does a beautiful job masking the ringing in my ears. I only wish that I had found it sooner. Highly recommend for tinnitus relief.

There is not one sound free. You have to upgrade to use all sounds. It says you can use you own sounds or upgrade to use their sounds.
Gute App mit Schwächen
Prinzipiell sehr gute App, allerdings funktioniert der Equalizer leider nicht getrennt für das linke und das rechte Ohr. Diese Möglichkeit wäre mir den Preis für das Premiumupdate wert. Außerdem sind die Klänge auf leisester Einstellung ein bisschen zu laut zum Einschlafen (in einem Mix geht es noch leiser, aber Default eben nicht). Spannend wäre auch eine Funktion, mit der man den ansonsten sehr brauchbaren Equalizer für die eigene Musik anwenden kann. So könnte es eventuell wirklich möglich sein, sich den Tinnitus ein Stückweit abzutrainieren.. Ansonsten aber wirklich eine sehr hochwertige App, weiter so!

Looks pretty. No longer crashes on startup. UI is a bit clunky. V similar to other masking apps & free version has adds. £9.99 for pro features - no thanks. I’ll stick with Whitenoise.
