A gamechanger
I absolutely love this app. I’ve had so much environmental noise from where I lived and it was impacting the quality of my life. But then I found this app! And it has made all the difference in the world. I love exploring all the new sounds when they come out and I love the ability to customize to my own presets. The community is so cool and that they have contributed amazing soundscapes too. The only challenge I have been cracking up in this app is deciding which amazing soundscape to immerse myself in. Sincere and utter thanks to the amazing person who put this app together!!
You made it complex
Why did you not simplify the ability to add multiple soundtrack to form one soundtrack like the previous app. On this one you have to create Separate configuration and adjust based on percentage when i already have a saved preset of that soundtrack already saved? Return to the old model of just tapping "add soundtrack" with an already saved preset of that soundtrack like you used to do it
why is there no volume button within the app?
also, what is the streaming quality when you cast it to your tv? Because the quality seems quite low. is it 128kbps? super appreciate you not using ai & and just to support you i buy the app because you’re not using ai.
Can’t even try
Can’t even test out the apps ability to use your own sounds I barley have enough $ to liv let alone $24,99 payment for something I’m not even sure will work the way I’d like it to.
Broken Present Menu
Cannot select presets anymore. Unfortunately, it seems like more bugs are arriving with each update.
This is the best app that I have on my phone
I highly recommend to purchase the full access
Used to be amazing
The corporate greed is just baffling. This used to be my favorite app- and you know what? Years ago I BOUGHT some of the individual sounds- the standard ones were amazing but I really loved the samples of some of the more unique ones. And I NEVER got a refund after now all those sounds I paid for are just GONE. I’m so angry and upset—now almost nothing is free and you can’t even test the unique new sounds.
Mixing soundscapes missing
Essential app for traveling for me as a commercial pilot where a lot of nights are new hotelrooms - this helps me calm down, acclimatise faster, and also nap sometimes as some of the musical soundscapes give my brain a rhythm to reboot. Also great that you guys redid the app in a new framework, it looks and feels great. BUT: for me the possibility to combine soundscapes was essential to generate dream places (a rainy city where some piano is calmy supporting the rain, and a thunderstorm in the distance? Only possible with three different soundscapes combined). Please, please add this functionality again (or if you do it by combining sound tracks instead of complete soundscapes, a bit higher amount of tracks then only the default 10?) and I would be happy to give six stars if possible! Perhaps make it an addin buy so that you can also get a bit of the dev effort back? Thank you for supporting my rest since 2017 at least!
Deleting app
I have been going to bed with a noise that was free for like 2 weeks and I was just about to take a nap and the noise was locked and i’m not paying just for noise…
Not 100% sure
I am not a paid patron, but I have been using the old app for years. YEARS. I recently recommend this to someone and I was very confused why I couldn’t find the one like mine. We both downloaded it and I’ve been tinkering around with the new app and a few things. I honestly only use it for the basic white noise and nothing else. 1. After the 14 days are up, what are the 10 free sounds? I can’t find that info anywhere. I hope the basic white noise sound is free. 2. On the old app, there was an arrow to tap to move all the sliders at once with 1 finger. I don’t want to use 2 fingers now. Why make that more complicated? 3. I did read about the old developer leaving and I’m glad you stuck with letting the old app stay “open”, so thank you! I think I’ll stick with the old one instead of the new app. I’m not a big fan of change.
How this really went. creating soundscapes.
This went pretty great except for one thing. I am so excited and I joined this. Thank you so much. One of the most wonderful things was listening to, but I pray soundscapes and listen to them. Thank you, my noise and thank you collaborators.
What am I missing??
I saw this app and love sound scapes and especially love choosing them to my liking. I downloaded the app and there is nothing I can do with it. It has a black screen with big white letters explaining what the app does, but NOTHING to choose or listen to. The black screen and white letters essentially told me there are in app purchases to have access to the complete library. I’d upload a screen shot, but there doesn’t appear to give me access to do that.
Suddenly Pricey Pro version
Most of the soundscapes are hidden behind paywall (>20€) At least only 1 time purchase, still too expensive though
Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t
I prefer natural sounds to help me sleep, and some of these settings are quite helpful. Others quit after a few minutes or don’t play at all. I wish I had known how buggy this app was before I paid for it.
Solid
ItMs actually so good
Latest Update Broke the App
Sounds aren’t loading, weird download behavior. Why fix what isn‘t broken?
As someone with autism, thank you.
For a long time I was afraid of my aunts dog, due to the startle of the bark. And since I found this app. I literally used one of the soundscapes today, and when i heard my aunts dog bark. Your soundscapes along with earbuds completely made it less startling. And this fixed all the relationships in my family. Thank you so much for making the best soundscapes free. Now I have a go to. You are literally something I’ve been looking for for so long.
much less intuitive to use than the original app
What a shame. I like the team but this is a shadow compared to the original. Less easy customisation, harder to download and find what you want, harder save and find your customisation, auto playing is annoying - tapping something you just want to read about interrupts what's playing, black look only. No, this is quite wrong. Stick with the legacy rather than this downward step. i'm sure there will be improvements, but hurry please!! UPDATE 2026, the new app is dreadful. sorry guys, it really is. where are the favourites? and how do you access them? quite long winded? why do i need to go into settings(!) to change timer lengths, why not from the sound?! the catalogue is now very much hidden inasmuch you must search to find what you want... I have no idea what you've called things do i?! the themselves categories are inconsistent. I stand by my original review and this update. There has been scant updates in app operating behaviour. The original trounces this by a country mile. I wish it were not so.
Great app but very glitchy and does not work with air pods:(
I had the old version of this app, which is great, I wanted to update it and found this version instead, and I really like it but it doesn't work well. The app is very glitchy and crashes a lot, and most of the sounds will not play through my air pods, which is really disappointing because that's really the only means I have to listen. I'll keep using the old app, but was really looking forward to all the new sounds on this one. Hopefully this can be fixed soon
White Noise
This app helps to not hear my tinnitus at night so that I can sleep.
Crash issues
After the latest update, the app crashes every time it gets 2-6 hours into playing downloaded white noise (phone on airplane mode). As you can imagine, this has been super disruptive to my sleep. I can not believe I almost signed up for a paid subscription for this app; I am very disappointed.
The old app was better…
I cannot log in on my “lifetime” account and have to pay another 24$ now? I thought subscriptions were one time paid…
Stopping sound with Animation
App recurring stops playing sound on left AirPod if “Animate” is enabled. Getting stereo sound back requires opening a different soundscape.
Absolutely best app ever
So I rarely write reviews, but this app is so well worth it. I just love how immersive these soundscapes are. I truly feel like I'm somewhere else. And I love that there's no subscription fee, which barely exists in 2026. Not to mention the amazing fact that I can have the audio playing while I listen to music or any other app's sound playing also. Thank you so much for all you do, and keep up the great work!
Twenty dollar surprise
I liked it. It was easy to calibrate and seemed effective. Then it locked me out and asked for $19.99. No “hey this is a trial.” No “limited number of uses.” Just “Now we want $19.99” I’m out.
Poorly optimised
I’ve been using myNoise for years. I like the look of the new design, but it’s SUPER buggy. Leaving any sound on animate for a while also seems to crash the app and even my phone, potential memory leak?
Nice sounds but No frequency generator
I found your website that has the Frequency generator and thought that this app was going to have that as an option since it popped up on that page. Unless I'm missing something, I don't see a frequency generator on this app.
Fabulous
Really high quality white noise generator, even just the free sounds are fantastic. We sleep to the rainstorm one every night, and it’s pleasingly varied and realistic
Bad
The sounds are basically the same resembling the sea. Boring and not relaxing. And then they want to charge you for it.
Great app. Almost perfect for me.
If you were able to upload your own files to play in the app it would be the perfect excuse to purchase. I’d make use of the background behaviour setting using my own sounds
No multi feature
Not only does multi not exist (is it coming back?) but you have to buy “lifetime” again with this new app. Love your work so no worries giving you more money but be honest about what you are selling. Please fill the feature gap here and stop playing games with how you charge!
Hmm
Love this website but the app is quite buggy; sounds wont play
All time favorite
I absolutely love this app! I started with the myNoise website which is awesome by the way, and I decided to have it on my phone as well. Both are amazing places to quiet minds.
Oh great.. New version to cheat previous paying customers out of what they purchased
BE WARNED I used to love this app until i just noticed they decided to make a 'new' app and then cancel the library of people who previously paid for all access. So, they will likely do that to those who paid for this "new" version.
Great App
I‘ve been using this App for years. I’ve had to old Version on my phone for years and loved it. Got a new phone so new app and I’ve noticed a problem. Whenever a track ends there is a sharp spike in the sound that’s uncomfortable. Otherwise very relaxing. If that issue gets fixed I will up it to 5 stars.
Super Broken
For a simple media app, how did you mess up the buttons so badly?
Most recent update won’t play
Been using this app for a while and like it a lot. But the last update from two days ago broke all my existing tracks and none of them will play. Deleting them and reinstalling them doesn’t help either.
Absolutely worth your time
One of the best if not THE best of its kind on the App Store.
Ruined By Greed
I have lost ALL of my paid soundscapes that were available on the old app. This new app version is horrific and low quality. Don’t support these people.
Plantage encore
Il faut supprimer et remettre à chaque fois les sons ça devient insupportable
Amazing!
I have tried many but this is by far the best. It’s worth it just for “distant thunder” which can be manipulated to your exact preferences. Thank you for your hard work in creating (in my opinion) the best out there. Update: I meant to give it 5 stars! ***** 😁
Best app
Great for hikes and working out , didn’t know I’d need something like this , 5 stars
App does not open.
Tried all the recommended fixes. Still won’t open.
Incredible price for value
lovely app with high quality sounds! when will the mac version follow?
